50th birthday card set

Hello and happy Wednesday! I recently created a set of 50th birthday cards. This is what I ended up creating:

Both of them are for a woman, but she is not a girly, pink, flower girl. Thus the more “cool” designs. On this card I´ve used Dani Peuss papers on the background and some older chipboard and stickers from my stash. Plus some spray ink in black and a black gel pen.

Like the first one, the second is also a slimline format card:

For this one I used a Rubber Dance stencil (Leaves 2) with Distress Oxide Inks in various blue shades. I also added two types of American Crafts alpha stickers (foam and vinyl). I also used some black and golden pigment droplets as well as a piece of twine and a some chipboard stars and a stamped Stampin´ Up! sentiment. Stamped with a blue VersaFine Clair stamp ink.

Inside one of the cards I created a pocket for a gift card. The other one is without one. These were fun to make! I hope the recipient will also appreciate them ;-).

Happy crafting,

Baby girl card in pink tones

Hello everyone! I was asked to create a bigger sized (A5) baby card. Since it is for a baby girl, it was supposed to be all pink and cute. This is what I came up with:

I used pink toned cardstock as a base. Added a handwriting patterned pinkish paper on top, cut some polka dot paper with a border punch. and added a Tonic Studios centerpiece in ecru as a background for the cute hippo.

The hippo die cut die is also by Tonic Studios. I used only one pink cardstock, but inked some parts with a darker pink toned Distress Oxide Ink to add contrast. The Gitter pen toes and fingers are done using a Edding silver glitter brush pen.

I also added some pink toned ribbon and glitter aplhas in purple. Very girly and very, very pink, like requested :).

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

On your confirmation day

Hello! I have a card share today. It´s a card I made for a family member´s confirmation day celebration.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder on the background with white cardstock and then added some yellow Distress Ink with a blending brush on top. After that I added a layer of Glimmer Mist droplets in yellow.

The white dots on top right corner are Nuvo Drops. The sentiment is written with my old typewriter.

The cross is a very old Sizzix die cut die. Die cut with white cardstock and has a layer of Stickles on top. I hope the recipient loved her card.

Happy crafting,
