Hello and happy Friday! My stash busting self-challenge is still going strong. I recently found some older Basic Grey papers in my stash and made it to my goald to use them up. As a result I now have a nice set of birthday cards in my card box again.
a total of 5 card – how cool is that!!
I just basically layered the chipboard elements, some rub-ons here and there and the patterned papers onto the card bases. For finishing touches I added some with Elizabeth Craft Designs stamps stamped sentiments. That´s it!
And I love the colours! Perfect for those born in fall :). I am wishing you a fabulous weekend, even though the pandemic numbers keep on rising. Trying to stay positive despite the circumstances.
Have a great weekend and stay healthy!! xxx, Sanna
Supplies (papers and rub-ons just similar suggestions):
Hello lovelies! I am still on my stash busting journey and I made this easy-to-do card with some older product from my stash. I combined two of my faves – Sassafras product and stenciling.
So here is a fun card for a birthday party and/or invitation. This one is really very simple to do. Just place a stencil onto the card base, add two tones of Distress Ink thru it and then decorate with stickers, buttons and sticker alphas! And you can even add some Nuvo Drops for additional fun, if you want. That´s it!
I have piles and piles of stickers I still want to use up – also pleeeenty of buttons in my stash. So it´s good to use one or two here and there! And that monster is perfect for a childrens party theme, right?
That´s it for today. Come back on Friday to see another card that I am sharing here.
Hello everyone and happy Monday! I´m dropping by today to share a stamped card with you. I´ve made this card with the Dear Lizzy She´s Magic stamp set from my The Wild Hare Kits January kit.
So for this card I only used white cardstock and the stamp set. I stamped the image with the flower stamp first using red and green ink with the leaf and petal pattern and next stamping on top with black stamp ink and the outline flower stamp that was in the set.
For finishing touches I added some Nuvo Drop details here and there. The drops were not in the kit, but are from my own stash. I really like how this card turned out and the fact, that it is so flat -> I can easily put it into an envelope and send it on it´s way.
That´s it from me today, be sure to come back on Wednesday, when I´ll be sharing another The Wild Hare Kits project with you.
Hello and happy Friday!! Today I´d like to share a vintage style Mother´s Day card with you. This again was built together from various older pieces from my paper stash, also again featuring some of Just A Gild With Ideas digi/hybrid papers.
The background piece again is from a paper pack cover sheet which I saved. It makes for a perfect card background here. I then added some fussy cut hybrid paper elements in a cluster as a focal point to the card. The „Zum Muttertag“ (=for Mother´s Day) sentiment is a German sentiment die by Tonic Studios. I die cut it from a watercolor paper I had misted with purple spray ink.
There are glossy details added with the Tonic Crystal Gloss in the middle of the card (No. 1) and also some tiny Nuvo Glitter Dorp details here and there in the flower elements. This card would be perfect for a grandmother for example.
That´s my crafty share for today, hope to see you around, I´ll be sharing another fun card project this weekend here on my blog.
Hello lovelies and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing a card that is actually full of pink tones. I was playing with some of the Tonic Studios new edge dies and this card was a result of that play.
I know, it practically jumps at you, it is soo pink. But hey, sometimes it´s ok to go totally crazy while crafting, right? For this one I again used the Rainbow Rose Edge die cut die byTonic Studios. I really like this die alot!
Underneath the pink die cut edge pieces there is a Tonic German Sentiment that I cut in two parts to be able to hide it behind the ribbon bow. I´ve also added some rose stamping around the lower and upper edge of the card. This stamp is in the Magnificent Magnolia clear stamp set, also by Tonic Studios. I then colored the roses with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and a Nuvo water tank brush. The roses are so very pink they really make this card so corny ;-)… but I don´t mind. Finally on this last photo you can see the inside of the card, when the Rainbow Rose edges are open. I´ve used spray inks on the background to create a two-toned background look – a golden and a pink tone.
That´s it from me today, I hope you survived this pink explosion post :-).
