Green, red and white Xmas card

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am stopping by to share another Christmas card with you. This time I again reused/recycled a present tag into the card and combined that with some Canvas Corp papers from my stash.

It´ s a very simple card with the bold background paper and the bold green burlap piece. I just needed to add the present tag Santa on top and a half pearl to his hat and finish the card off with a Klartext stamp sentiment.

This card just makes me happy and smile when I see it. I hope the recipients with think the same :). I am sticking to simple cards this year :). Have you ever recycled bits of Christmas present tags/packaging/cards?

Wishing you a nice week!
Take care,

Christmas cards 2022 – Set 3

Hello and happy Friday! Today´ s Christmas card set is a mix of products by Fancy Pants, Vicky Boutin and Canvas Corp Brands. It´ s a bit like “something old and something new”, except it´ s for Christmas.

For the first card I used a premade card base from Vicky Boutin´ s Warm Wishes collection and fussy cut the tag from the same collection papers. The puffy stars are by Fancy Pants (older collection) and the tiny “badge” with 24 on it, is by Canvas Corp Brands. For dimension I used 3D foam on the background.

For this card I used a cute picture I fussy cut from a present tag and reused here. The paper is again Vicky Boutin Warm Wishes collection, as is the Chipboard Sticker. The stamped sentiment is by Klartext.

For the last card I used Vicky Boutin Warm Wished paper as the cards background, then added a die cut frame with a Canvas Corp paper sentiment on top. The wreath is also by Canvas Corp Brands – fussy cut and adhered on place with 3D foam. I also added some shine with Stickles to the wreath.

And another few peeps covered with these Xmas cards again :). Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Have a good day and take care,

Christmas cards 2022 – Set 1

Hello there! It is again that time of the year – time for Christmas card shares ;-). Here is the first set I did:

I went with very simple CAS style this time mainly, because I wanted to use up product from last years. The background paper is by Canvas Corp Brands and the tag I don´ t even remember where I got it from. But I like the combo of black and green with red together. The stamp is by Klartext and the dots are done with liquid pearls. The chipboard sticker is by Vicky Boutin.

Here the background paper is by Vicky Boutin and Canvas Corp Brands. The puffy star is by Fancy Pants. I really like the black for Christmas this year or some reason.

And lastly, this card is also done with Vicky Boutin papers and the journaling card was in my stash, but I really can´ t remember who it is by. The little decor on the left top corner is by Canvas Corp Brands and colored with Neocolor 2´ s.

My goal making these cards was clearly stash busting. But I also really enjoyed creating simple, flat Christmas cards that are easy to mail.

Hope you liked these ideas 🙂 – have you started on your card creating yet?

Daily Art Practice – Day 73

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am a day late with sharing this, but IRL got the better of me. It´ s been a rough two days. I will try and catch up this week, but I just didn´ t have the energy & time to share yesterday and also today´ s piece will not get done today. Oh well, life is sometimes very hard.

I used all kinds of papers and embellishments from my stash (mainly Canvas Corp & 7gypsies), a Tim Holtz paper doll, Klartext stamps, Dina Wakley paints and gloss spray as well as Gelatos and a Stabilo all.

Here are some detail photos:

I really enjoyed making this page! And love these colours together. I hope to be back tomorrow with a piece – let´ s see if IRL is in my favor tomorrow. Hope life is calmer at your end! Take care,

Frohe Weihnachten

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I am sharing a set of Christmas cards I created with older product I have been saving, some previous DT time papers and some new stamps from my stash.

This above one is done with Studio Tekturek papers, Karen Marie Klip snowmen (these I´ ve had forever in my stash and didn´ t use, because they were so cute – I know, crazy, right?!). But like I have mentioned here before; those times are gone :). I am using it all and having fun doing so from now on!

And the second card is pretty much similar, except for the background paper. That is from my DT time at Canvas Corp Brands and I love the combination of the cute snowmen and the clean black and white paper here.

The stamps on both cards are new ones I bought last summer from a Dani Peuss sale. I am a sucker for Klartext stamps and the “13 mal Weihnachten” set is basically just that 13 Merry Christmas sentiments on one sheet. And it is just perfect for this season – timeless and versatile, because of different font styles!

Wishing you a lovely, creative Sunday!
