More Christmas cards – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Friday!!! Today I´m again sharing another set of Christmas cards that I created using my The Wild Hare Kits December kit.

Here is what I did:

I kept my cards very clean and simple for a change! And I love how they turned out, even though I just used a few things on them!

For this card I again used the beautiful stickers from the Crate Paper Snowflake collection and added some stamping with the stamp set from the same collection. Easy, fun and simple!

For the second card I used the Crate Paper Snowflake collection ephemera pieces and a few stickers from the Snowflake sticker sheet. Just adhered everything on place, added the faux stitching and the card was done! Soooo easy!

And for the last card in this set I did the same like on the previous one. I love that little snowman image, it´s sooo cute!

So that´s it for today. There is one more set of cards coming up tomorrow, so if you want to see them, do stop by! And then there are still two more layouts coming up, before I´ll share my monthly kit wrap up on the 31st!

Happy crafting!

Alles Liebe card – Tonic Studios

Hello lovelies and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing a card that is actually full of pink tones. I was playing with some of the Tonic Studios new edge dies and this card was a result of that play.

I know, it practically jumps at you, it is soo pink. But hey, sometimes it´s ok to go totally crazy while crafting, right? For this one I again used the Rainbow Rose Edge die cut die byTonic Studios. I really like this die alot!

Underneath the pink die cut edge pieces there is a Tonic German Sentiment that I cut in two parts to be able to hide it behind the ribbon bow. I´ve also added some rose stamping around the lower and upper edge of the card. This stamp is in the Magnificent Magnolia clear stamp set, also by Tonic Studios. I then colored the roses with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and a Nuvo water tank brush. The roses are so very pink they really make this card so corny ;-)… but I don´t mind. Finally on this last photo you can see the inside of the card, when the Rainbow Rose edges are open. I´ve used spray inks on the background to create a two-toned background look – a golden and a pink tone.

That´s it from me today, I hope you survived this pink explosion post :-).
Happy crafting,
Sanna

Flower cards

Hi there everyone, me again sharing yet another set of cards, again created while playing/practicing with the Misti stamp tool. There are layered flower stamps from Stampin´ Up! that I´ve used to create these clean & simple styled cards.

If you look closely, you can see that the positioning is not perfect, but I didn´t want to waste these images, so I created two quick cards with them.

The paper in the background is from Canvas Corp. They have a great selection of timeless papers that work for pretty much any theme.

Happy scrapping,

Some kind of wonderful

Getting together with crafty friends around the globe would be impossible without social media and things like Skype! Me and some of my lovely crafty friends again got together to chat a little and to challenge each other. This time I was not the one setting the rules and to my agony, we had to do totally without mixed media *add a sad face*

Well, I managed, even though my fingers were itching for some paste and ink splatters. So here, a clean & simple card was the end result:

Sanna Lippert - clean and simple die cut cardI used patterned papers from Basic Grey (fresh cut) & Dear Lizzy (documentary). Good to get some paper stash used! The only admission they gave me was to stamp the sentiment. At least some ink in there, eh? *giggles*

That will be a total surprise, since we didn´t show each other the cards we were making! These sessions are always great fun. I feel very lucky to have such talented, funny, creative friends around the globe!!! If you´d like to make a similar card, the supplies are listed at the end of this post..

I am joining with STAMPlorations anything CAS goes card challenge with my card:

cas-009-septemberpink2016I managed to add touches of pink into the card (enamel dots & the die cut flowers), so I think I am good to go with this card for this challenge.

Happy crafting,

Celebrate – Mixed Media Card Challenge, December reveal

Hello there, it is time to share the last Mixed Media Card Challenge for this year. This months challenge is all about CELEBRATION. As an optional element you should use VELLUM.

This is how my take looks like:

Sanna LippertI first took a piece of light blue vellum, stamped with a Hero Arts Snowflake stamp and VersaMark ink on it. Then embossed the image with white embossing powder. Next I took a leftover chipboard piece, inked it with VersaMark and applied several layers of pearl white embossing powder on it. While the powder was still hot, I stamp kissed it with the same Hero Arst Snowflake stamp. I layered both pieces onto a piece of glitter paper (love the shine!!!). Then I added a twine bow on top. For additional decoration I just added some white texture spray droplets and blue rhinestones.

Now it is your turn – hop over to the MMCC blog to take a look at the cards my team colleagues created!!! Hoping you will all still find some time to join in on this months challenge!!

Happy December, everyone!!
