Clean and simple Christmas cards

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m up with another set of Christmas cards, this time in clean and simple style. I´ve used some of the gorgeous STAMPlorations stencils on these to create the patterns.

See? Very simple and easy card ideas! I took a piece of red patterned paper (leftover piece that was on my table ;-)..) and placed the stencils on top. Then I took a blender brush and applied the golden Nuvo Mousse thru the stencil on top. After the mousse was dry, I outlined the patterns with white to make them better stand out from the background.

For the third card I used Ivory Coast Nuvo Crackle Mousse thru a STAMPlorations stencil. As a base I used a dark red cardstock piece. For decor I added some felt and wooden stars and into the middle I added a stamped sentiment. Easy peasy!

On the other cards I just added little details, like a STAMPlorations clear sticker and a wooden reindeer piece (who has a Nuvo Vintage Drop red nose, by the way ;-)..). For the other cards I just added a in brown stamped Christmas sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges a little to give it a vintage look. The star is wood veneer combined with a star sticker. So only very little details, lots of red and a little gold with white. Very christmassy in my opinion!

Celebrate card

Hello and happy Monday! I wanted to share a cheerful and happy colored card with you today just to bring your mind off the grey weather outside (and the pandemic situation). Here in Austria we have reached an alarming level and more restrictions are due from tomorrow on for three weeks. So to bring some happiness to this day, I wanted to share this particular card with you.

It´s created using one of my new stencil designs at STAMPlorations: Art Flowers 2. I added lots of various happy Distess Ink colours onto the background first and then did a dictionary stamp pattern thru the stencil onto the card. I love this look so, so much! The fabric and corrugated paper flowers are again from my older stash (stash busting with cards is a thing for me this year!!)

The stamped sentiment is by Elizabeth Craft Designs. And the card base is made of bright and happy green tone. Wishing you all a lovely day, even though the circumstances! Keep healthy, wear a mask, wash your hands and keep your distance.

Lots of hugs, Sanna

November Stencil Challenge reminder – STAMPlorations

Hello and Sunday! Have you played along with the STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge this month yet? No? Don´t worry, there is still enough time. To bring you to stenciling mood, the DT girls have again put up a reminder post over at STAMPlorations blog.

Here is my take for the reminder post:

I used the new „Onions in Raws“ stencil – see this video for more details on why there is a new version – for the background.

For decor I used older ephemera from my stash and added a stamped sentiment into the middle using the Party Time clear stamp set. This is also available at the STAMPlorations store.

There is still time to join the November challenges! I hope you do! Just remember to play by the rules, if you want to be eligible for the prizes! Other than that, have fun creating!! Looking forward to seeing your creations!!

Also throughout November there is a great offer at the STAMPlorations store! If you buy product worth total USD 10,- (after discounts and before shipping), you get to choose one product from the store worth upto USD 7,- for free!! How cool is that??

Also remember that my discount code is still valid, so take advantage of the 20% discount!!

Happy stenciling,
xxx, Sanna

Joy to the world

Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today I´m again filling my stash busting goals with this card! I´ve got a whole sheet of snowflake stickers used on this one. Yay!!

For the background I used my snowflake stencil that had some residue ink on it, so I misted it and pressed the ink onto a piece of white paper. You can barely recognize the pattern here and there, but I still really like the subtle look. After adding the STAMPlorations clear sticker sentiment and the super old snowflake stickers from my stash (yay to stash busting again!), the card turned out pretty nice.

That´s all for today! How are you getting along with Christmas cards this year? I have a few made, but I think they will not be enough, so I need to make a few more still.

Hoping your day is lovely!!! We are again on lockdown light in Austria and it´s starting to get to me. I miss my people! I´ve been really good the whole time so far since March, keeping the circles very small and all, but I miss seeing friends and loved ones. And who knows how long this will go on!! I think the winter time makes it even harder. Going to be along wait until spring arrives and we can at least enjoy our garden again, if nothing else.

Hoping everything is good at your end during this crazy time. Take care and stay safe!

Congrats!

Hello and happy Thursday! I´m stopping by to share another „funky“ birthday card with you today. This one is one of the fun Gloss Spray backgrounds I did during the lockdown, while watching the Dina Wakley FB lives.

So the gloss spray background is the base of this card. On top of that I added some Onions in Raws stencil pattern on top (using black Distress Ink). For finishing touches I added a stamped sentiment (stamped directly onto the background), some washi tape by Dina, older brads and flowers as well as some Nuvo sequins.

Like mentioned in my previous post, this stencil design went thru a modification. It´s slightly bigger in size than the previous design. If you want to see more, I share a short video here.

One more day until weekend, hoping it´s going to be exactly how you want it to be! Have a great day!
xxx, Sanna
