Wedding card

Hello and happy Monday! Today I am stopping by to share a shabby chic style wedding card with you:

This is made completely with older product from my stash. Literally nothing on this is new :). So I am happy to add this to my “OPR” (old product rediscovered) project pile. I have old papers on the background, on top of that I added some STAMPlorations stenciling (with one of my my first stencil designs there).

Next there are layers of lace and Wycinanka chipboards, then some old border stickers and half pearls. On top of that some DIY mold frames and paper flowers and on top of it all there is a Wycinanka heart in the center.

I really like how this card turned out. And I truly enjoy incorporating my older product into my card projects! And shabby chic is also fun – haven´t done that for A WHILE!

Hope your week started in a good way!

DAP-journal – August 15th, 2022

Hello and happy Friday! Here is yet another page from my Daily Art Practice journal:

I love the roses on the original almanac page, so I took out some of my STAMPlorations stencil design stencils. But first I painted the background with Distress Paints in the tone “old paper” and various brown tones form the same line. After that I dabbed some gesso thru the rose stencil onto the paper and then I added another snarky stamp set by Dyan Reaveley on top.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you liked what you saw. I like roses, but at the moment I am very much enjoying the tulips in our garden :). Tulips are one of my all time favorite flowers.

Have a great weekend, lovelies!

Daily Art Practice – May 15th

Hello and happy Friday! here is another Daily Art Journal page from my “DAP-journal”.

For this page I used a woodgrain paper as background, then mounted the almanac page on top and fussy cut randomw words from a magazine and added a stamped Klartext stamp image next to them. Everything translates to: dark circles gradually increasing.

On top of everything I added a fussy cut old photo of a lady and did some stenciling with one of my STAMPlorations stencils and white gesso.

That´ s all for today. Hope you have some crafty time planned for the weekend :)!

Have a good one,

Daily Art Practice – May 8th

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice journal page. This one is a very small one, I just used the Artistic Almanac 2022 page as my background piece.

I used one of my STAMPlorations stencil designs here on the background with white gesso. On top of that I added an old black and white portrait photo and finished the page off with a Klartext stamp.

I really like using these “Denglisch” sentiments in my journal. And also stencils! Hope you enjoyed today´ s share.

Have a great day and remember to be thankful for all the good things in your life today.

Take care,
Sanna

Daily Art Practice – April 13th

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am again stopping by to share another Daily Art Practice Jounal page with you. These have always the Artist Almanac pages as their starting point. This is what I ended up making:

For this page I simply continued the background feeling and added stamping and fussy cut elements to it. Also some Posca pink pen marks are here and there on the background.

To add the stencil pattern to the page I used STAMPlorations stencils from my stencil line there with Distress Paints. And to finish the page off I used Klartext stamps again.

I hope your week is a nice one!
