Full Deck Challenge 38/2025 – chaos

Hello and happy Thursday! Here is my take on the ShanoukiArt “Full Deck Challenge 2025”, number 38/2025: chaos.

For this one I again used Yuna´s collage papers that she gifted to me. This time I chose bold and colorful/wild ones). And as a carry-over-item another collage paper with a face on it. I only wripped off the eyes, mouth and nose and adhered them onto the deck card very randomly.

On top I added some stenciling with a marker using this Rubber Dance stencil. After that I stamped with black ink and this Rubber Dance stamp on top. I tried to keep everything very chaotic (lots going on here and there). I colored the eyes with Neocolor II crayon to make them stand out better. My constant is on the background (a date stamp). And I finished the deck card off with this Rubber Dance sentiment stamp set words.

Full Deck Challenge 37/2025 – coffee

Hello and happy Thursday! Here is my take on the ShanoukiArt “Full Deck Challenge 2025”, number 37: coffee.

I used collage papers gifted to me by Yuna from Australia and cafe con leche colored paper strips on the background. The collage papers are my carry over items from the previous deck card. On top I added some stamping with Hero Arts “cup-o-joe” brown ink (again the coffee theme there) and this Rubber Dance stamp.

After that I took a piece of gelli printed paper and stamped a STAMPlorations coffee mug with a sentiment as my focal point. I then also added the same brown stamp ink and stamping onto the mug. My constant is a date stamp (on the background) and I again used this Rubber Dance stamp set words to add detail.

Full Deck Challenge 35/2025 – letters of the alphabet

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is my take on the ShanoukiArt Full Deck Challenge number 35: letters of the alphabet.

As my carry over item from the previous deck card, I used the dark green paper strip and the one with the stenciled stars on it (on the previous card I used the backside, here it´s the front).

The other paper piece is from my gelli printing projects, where I wipe residue inks etc. onto a separate paper. I usually save these papers for later use and somehow they always find a way into artworks.

My constant is a date stamp and it´s added to the background in a repeated manner. I then used tiny sticker alphas as my “letters of the alphabet”. I scattered them onto the background very randomly to create a pattern with them. Next I took a fuchsia Posca pen and added splatters with the marker tothe surface.

I finished the card off with a Rubber Dance stamp image from the set “Mix It Up 6” and added stamped words from the “Mix A Sentiment 2023” set.

Here is again the process video – have fun watching!

Full Deck Challenge 34/2025 – happy scraps

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is my take on the ShanoukiArt Full Deck Challenge 34/2025: happy scraps.

For this one I used plenty of leftover bits from the previous deck cards (old book paper, collage papers gifted to me by Yuna from Australia, gelli printed papers). I wripped them into tiny pieces and arranged them very randomly onto the deck card. The book paper and the gelli printed paper bits are my carry over items this time.

After that I added stamping here and there with the Mix It Up 4 stamp set (Rubber Dance). I also added my constant, the date stamp. Next I used some Posca pens to add details to the papers (white, pink and blue).

For the focal point I used a premade tree (Textured Xmas Trees 2 by Rubber Dance) and some yarn. The premade tree is done ona glossy paper with Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and stamping. I then also added some orange Posca pen details to the tree. Then I finished the deck card with a sentiment (Mix A Sentiment 2023 stamp set).

Full Deck Challenge 33/2025 – song lyrics

Hello, this is my take on the ShanoukiArt Full Deck Challenge 33/2025 – song lyrics.

I started by taking a gelli printed paper (used this Rubber Dance stamp for it) and wrote some lines from Derik Fein´s “Sun” onto paper with my old typewriter.

I then adhered the paper onto the lightly sanded playing card and added a carry-over-item from my previous deck card to it: a piece of old book paper. Next to that I adhered a piece of collage paper gifted to me by Yuna from Australia. After that I added my constant – the date stamp – onto the book paper part. I didn´t want to cover all the song lyrics, therefore I kept the background simple and just added some collage fodder and a sentiment on top this time. The collage fodder is made with this Rubber Dance stamp and this stencil. The sentiment was done using this stamp set. You can see how I go about creating these collage pieces, if you watch my Rubber Dance playlist on YouTube :).

See you next week with another FDC take! Until then, happy crafting,

Full Deck Challenge 32/2025 – bird

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is my take on the ShanoukiArt Full Deck Challenge 32/2025 – bird.

I used a piece of book paper as my carry over item from my last deck card. Rest of the papers are again collage papers gifted to me by Yuna from Australia. On top I added some stamping with aged mahogany Distress Oxide Ink and a black ink and used Rubber Dance stamps (Textured Birds 2 and Mix It Up 7 stamp sets).

My constant is the date stamp and I again used some Gloss Spray drops (Sand) on the background, then added a piece of white gard under the fussy cut and colored bird. I added it for texture. On top of it all are again some words stamped with a Rubber Dance stamp set (Mix A Sentiment 2023). That´s it for this time. Here is the video for you to watch:

Happy creating! See you next week with another take!

Full Deck Challenge 28/2025 – black

Hello, here is my take on the 28th ShanoukiArt Full Deck Challenge. The theme was “black”.

I used a light pink paper strip (very right) as my carry over item from the previous deck card. The sticker alphas on that strip are also from the same set like the numbers in my previous card. So also carry over things :).

I then added a black and white paper with flowers and a plain black paper to the backgroun. My constant is a date stamp. On top I drew some ovals with a white gel pen using the Rubber Dance Stacked Ovals stencil as a drawing guide. On top of that I as butterfly (Rubber Dance Butterflies and Moths) stamped onto a book page. For decor I added some rhinestones and Rubber Dance Mix A Sentiment 2023 stamped words.

Here is the start-to-finish video:

Watercolor style stamped collage fodder card with Distress Inks – Rubber Dance

Hello, it´s my turn to share another creative project over at the Rubber Dance blog today. I am up with a simple, but fun to make card idea. I used Autumn Leaves and Mini Marks 1 for this card project with plenty of Distress Ink tones.

I started the card project by playing with Distress Inks and the Autumn Leaves stamp set. I wanted to create “watercolor styled” collage fodder with the leaves. So I stamped with various fall toned Distress Inks onto the stamp images, misted them lightly and stamped onto a mixed media paper.

After fussy cutting the images, I took the “Mini Marks 1” stencil, places it onto a card base and added two tones of Distress Ink with a blending brush thru it onto the background. Next I just needed to adhere a row of leaves on top of the stenciled pattern as a focal point and add a sticker sentiment (or use the Mix A Sentiment 2023 stamp set to make a sentiment) and some rhinestones for decor. The card itself was done in no time, it´s the fodder creating that takes some time. Thus, I suggest, when you start, make plenty at once.

Here are the videos on how to make the collage fodder and about the card process. Hope you get inspired!

I know it´s still summer, but for those, who cannot wait for fall to come. Here is some fall themed card inspiration. Happy crafting!

Cards with fodder clusters and oval backgrounds – Rubber Dance

Hello, it´s my turn to share a project over at Rubber Dance blog today. I love the Rubber Dance ovals stencil line! So I played around with them (Big Ovals and Stacked Ovals) and created fun oval background cards with a big collage fodder cluster as a focal point.

For the bright colored card I used a gelli print created earlier this year. It creates a beautiful, happy and bright backdrop for the cluster of flowers, leaves and butterflies. I also added some rhinstones and a fussy cut sentiment to the card for finishing touches.

I always create collage fodder in bulk, so that I have plenty of options to add to my cards and other projects along the way. The tutorials to these fodder pieces can be found here, here and here.

For the second card in more muted colors. I used the new Stacked Ovals stencil directly on the background with “scattered straw” Distress Ink.

I again attached the stencil to the card and my working surface with washi tape. You can also use painters tape. This way the stencil will stay put while applying ink. I like washi, because it´s very easy and safe to remove afterwords – nothing tears while removing it.

For this cluster I again used collage fodder I had previously made in bulk. Except for the old book paper circle. That I created using the Butterflies and Moths stamp set and black ink just for this card. It adds a nice vintage feel to the cluster.

I really like using stencils on my cards. They can add so much to a project. Just imagine these fodder clusters without the backgrounds.

Hope you get inspired!

Full Deck Challenge 25/2025 – 2 favourite colours

Hello! Here is my take on the Full Deck Challenge number 25/2025: two favourite colours. I used yellows and greens which happen to be my fave colours.

I used patterned papers on the background (from my older stash). Then added some washi tapes in the same colours on top. I also sneaked in a tiny blue paper stripe (a carry over item from my last deck card).

After that I added some Rubber Dance stamp images with black ink and my constant, a date stamp. I chose a green butterfly as a focal point (also Rubber Dance stamps) and finished everything with yellow and green Gloss Spray droplets and a stamped sentiment.
