Altered 2018 notebook cover – STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday

Hello there everyone and happy December!! Today it´s again time to share some STAMPlorations stencil love with you. For this months Stencil Sunday I´ve altered a notebook cover with lots of little bits and bobs and some of my new stencils.

I´ve first added orange acrylic paint thru the Evolution stencil onto the background. Next I used a piece of leftover patterned paper as a base for the 2018 glitter stickers. But before adhering them on their place, I first applied some white modeling paste thru the Flowers 2 stencil here and there.

When the paste was dry, I added some Trees 1 pasted images on top too. Next I added border stickers elements here and there (these are from older stash – good to get that used again here!!). then I just added random details, like liquid pearls, white gel pen circles and Glimmer Glaze droplets here and there.

In the end I outlined the patterend paper with a black gel pen and also added „faux stitching“ around the book cover edges with a white gel pen. The book cover was finished in no time. It is full of empty pages inside that just need to be filled with lots of ideas during the coming year. I don´t know about you, but I am eagerly waiting for the new year to start. This year had more downs than ups, so I am happy to say goodbye to it soon. And start filling this book with new ideas!!!

Hope you will be joining the Mixed media and Tagploration challenge over at STAMPlorations blog with us!!! Oh, and don´t miss the projects my creative design team colleagues have made for your inspiration!!

I am also adding my 20 % off gift card code for you as a reminder here:

Monochromatic tag tutorial – STAMPlorations

Hello there lovelies, it is again time to share yet another STAMPlorations mixed media tutorial with you guys today. This time I created a monochromatic stenciled and stamped tag with a start-to-finish video.

Here is the tag I created:

For this tag I´ve used one of my new stencils (Leaves 1) on a green toned patterned paper. I´ve added a stamped sentiment (STAMPlorations) and used two tones of green Distress Ink to color the background and to create the leaves pattern onto the background.

I wanted to make the pattern stand out a little bit stronger, so I used a simple trick and added white gel pen outlining to the stenciled images. This way there is more contrast between the same toned paper and the inked leaves. I really like this look alot.

For additional decor I´ve added a DIY dimentional paper flower and some glitter glue as well as the stamped sentiment. This tag is very easy to make! If you use different colours and a different stencil pattern and outline with a black pen, then the result will again be totally different. So many possibilities to use this technique on various projects!! Hope you give it a try!

Here is the video for you to watch:

I hope you enjoyed this little tag idea and get inspired to create something fun with stencil and stamps yourself!!! For more insportation, stop by the STAMPlorations blog – my design team colleagues create lots of lovely projects too that are very much worth seeing!!! And while you are there, join us for a fun challenge or two, too!!!

Happy crafting,

TAGplorations December challenge

Hi there lovelies and welcome to the TAGplorations December challenge reveal! This months theme is: As an optional element you are asked to use: GLITTER. Here is what I did for the reveal:

I used the nesting Manila tag die cut dies to die cut a piece of white cardstock. Next I misted that piece with red Glimmer Mist (Lobster tone). After that I placed one of my stencils (Trees 1) onto the misted tag and applied some Viva Decor glitter paste onto the tag thru the stencil. I decorated the tag with a strip of burlap (Canvas Corp) and some white die cut trees (Elizabeth Craft Designs).

For additional decor I added wooden stars, some Nuvo glitter drops, a half pearl border, a sticker border from my older stash as well as some red and white dotted paper (Canvas Corp). The sentiment circle is fussy cut from an older paper from my stash and I´ve decorated it with Nuvo drops antique rose tone to give it some more dimension. Finally I added some hand drawn „snowflakes“ onto the background just for a fun detail. I finished the tag off with a piece of red and silver ribbon on top. That´s it! Another present tag for this Christmas is done und dusted! I hope you will find some time to play along with us and submit your tag creations HERE! Remember, they don´t have to be just tags, you can make any kind of projects, they just have to have a tag on them :). You´ll find the rules over here. After that, go here to join the fun with us!

See you at TAGplorations, lovelies!

Sanna Lippert Designs first ever stencil reveal blog hop

This is it, everyone! It´s time to do a kinda big STAMPlorations stencil blog hop around my brand new (& first ever!!!) stencil collection. It´s a total of eight stencils that are involved in this hop with a huge group of lovely, creative girls from the STAMPlorations team! Like revealed earlier this week (see my previous post for a video!), I´ve been able to design my first ever stencils that will be available at the STAMPlorations store under „Sanna Lippert Designs“.

I am ever so thankful for Shery in believing in me and letting me be part of the STAMPlorations family. I am still so excited, I could burst! So lets skip the smalltalk and let me share you some works created with the new stencils. That´s better than to go on about how I feel for hours ;-)…

THEN, when you are thru with this photo heavy post, you need to go and hop thru all the blogs joining in this hop. And I will do that too, because I haven´t seen what the girls have created! So I am at least as excited to see what they have been upto, as you are :).

So lets start!!! Here are the first projects I created with these stencils:

I am only going to share some eye candy today without any project details or steps. There will be more projects coming up on the STAMPlorations blog in the future with steps and tutorials. Today I´m only sharing project photos due to already long and photo heavy post. I´m adding only the details which stencils were used on which projects.

(featuring Senecio 1 & Flowers 1)

(featuring Trees 1)

(featuring Christmas Tree 1)

(featuring Flowers 2)

(featuring Leaves 1)

(featuring Leaves 2) (featuring Evolution) (featuring Flowers 1)

at the end of this post you will find links to the stencils and a direct link to the STAMPlorations blog to get you started with the rest of the girls projects :). And here is some more info about the hop:

  • Commenting closes on December 4th
  • and there are prizes: one winner of $20 gift certificate, two winners of their choice of three Sanna Lippert Designs stencils
  • Winners will be randomly drawn from comments left on the STAMPlorations blog and participating designers blogs

Big news!!!

Hello everybody! I have been bursting to share some exciting news with you guys for quite a while now. And today finally is the day to do some sharing!!! I herewith proudly present my very first 8 „Sanna Lippert Designs“ stencils that will be available at the STAMPlorations store as of today.

To say I am excited would be an understatement of the century! 😀 I am still pinching myself to make sure this is not a dream. These are my very first own stencil babies and I am really, really excited about this set!

It was thanks so Shery, who believed in me, that made creating these stencils possible. So I am very thankful for her support and for her trusting in me and my dream. Without her and STAMPlorations it might never gotten to this point. So I am very proud to be joining the STAMPlorations family with my stencils!!

I´ve recorded a video for you to watch with a little background info about the stencil and what I had in mind when creating them. Have fun watching:

If you are interested in reading a little bit more about the stencil and where they will be sold, go to the STAMPlorations website & blog – just follow this link for more info!

And there is a  blog hop coming up in two days time – so come back for more details on the 29th!!! I cannot wait to see what the STAMPlorations girls made with my designs – I´m soooo excited, I cannot sit stil :-D!
