4th Sanna Lippert Designs stencil reveal – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone, it´s Sanna here today with a special share. I am so excited to be able to share my 4th set of stencil designs with you!! A huge thank you to Shery for making all this possible and believing in me and my designs.  Without her, none of this would be possible. So thank you again, Shery! I am so happy to be part of the STAMPlorations family.

Early this spring (before the pandemic hit the world) I had this set ready for a release, but then the pandemic happened and everything got postponed abit. But better late than never! So today I´m happy to be able to share a little video with all of you, featuring the new designs. I wanted to do this earlier, but since shipping was not working between the US and Europe at all, it was not possible unti now. One parcel was even retourned back to Shery and never reached me. Finally, a few weeks ago the stencils arrived, so I am now able to share some stencil goodness with you.

And to give you a better idea on the new designs, I´ve recorded a video featuring every single design. I hope you enjoy it!

I have been having so much fun with the stencils, so before I leave you today, I would like to show you just a few examples I created.

Wishing you all a fabulous day and happy stenciling!

New stencil line-up:

Merry Christmas – Mixed Media Card Challenge, December reveal

Hello lovelies! Time to share the December Mixed Media Card Challenge blog´s challenge with you today! This time you are asked to use GOLD and as an optional element, add STARS to your CARD!

december2016challenge

This is my take for the reveal:

Sanna Lippert - gold and stars die cut die card

I´ve again used some Elizabeth Craft Designs products on this card, as well as some lovely Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist spray inks.

I first took a piece of white cardstock, die cut that in 1/3 and 2/3 sized pieces using the Holiday Garlands 2 die cut set. That way I had an upper piece, a middle garland part and a lower piece. Next I misted the upper part with purple, dark red, aubergine and black spray ink colors (all by Tattered Angels). After that I added white acrylic paint splatters onto that background. It now looks like the universe/space. I really like this look!!!

I then took the lower piece and attached Clear Double Sided Adhesive onto it and poured golden Silk Microfine Glitter onto that piece and polished that with my finger to make it all shiny and stick to the adhesive (here is a video how to do that). When the glitter piece was finished, all I had to do was to adhere all pieces onto their places with paper glue. Next I stamped a sentiment with black ink and inked the background with pink Distress Ink. I then fussy cut the stamped image along the edges. Finally I added some half pearls onto the garland for decoration.

This card I pretty clean and simple looking even though it takes quite a lot of media to make it :). I hope you will find this months challenge interesting and join in with us! Who does not love gold???!!! Hope to see you at MMCC this month, lovelies!!!

Happy crafting,
Sanna

Choose to shine – the MMCC July challenge reveal

Hello there, everyone! Time to share July´s Mixed Media Card Challenge with you. This time you are asked to create a card around the theme: SPARCKLE. As an optional element you should use GEMS.

Here is my take:

Sanna LippertI used a black background paper and a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil to create the pattern. I first applied some pearlescent blue texture paste through the rose stencil, then I took glitter texture paste and applied some of that through the same stencil.

Next I stamped a sentiment on white cardstock, added some blue Distress ink on some areas and fussy cut the sentiment and glued it down. There are gem flowers and rhinestones in blue tones here and there for additional detail.

Sanna LippertSo now it is your turn to create a card for this challenge! I hope you find the time to join in with us!!! See you at MMCC!!!

Happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna

So many of my smiles – MMCC November challenge Vol. 2

Hello lovelies, today I´m sharing my second take on the Mixed Media Card Challenge blog´s November challenge. This months theme is:

And my second take looks like this:

I have used a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil as a doodling guide and created an arrow pattern (one of the challenge requirements :-)..) to the background of my card. After that I went and colored the arrows with markers and highlighted some of them with a little glitter glue.

The sentiment I first stamped with VersaMark ink, then added a turquoise embossing powder over the stamped area and heat set it. Next I sprayed some lighter and darker orange Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist over the embossed area and around it, fussy cut the sentiment, outlined it and adhered the sentiment onto the card base. Even though the card looks very clean&simple, it actually has a few techniques and medias going on there :-).

Hope you will join us on this months challenge – just follow this link to do so!
Happy crafting, Sanna

You make me happy – MMCC November challenge reveal

Hello everyone and happy November!!! Gosh, where has the time gone??!! I have not even started on my Xmas cards yet and time is starting to run out..eeekk! BUT first things first. Let´s start by sharing the November Mixed Media Card Challenge with you:

This time the theme is FAMILY and as an optional element you are asked to use ARROWS. Now there are various possibilities to approach this theme. You could create a card for Thanksgiving, for example.

I have used a more general theme. It is, in a way, a thank you card, I think. There is always that special someone in the family who can brighten up ones day, no matter how bad it has been until then. Well, this is the kind of card I´d like to give that special person to tell them how much I appreciate them being there for me.

And this is how I created the card:

I first wiped some Distress Stain (pink & purple) onto a working surface and then pressed a piece of relatively thick watercolor paper over the ink/color. Then I let the paper dry properly.

Next I took a 3rd Eye (sadly, the store has closed their doors, but you will find a stamp or two still sold HERE…) arrow stamp and stamped and arrow pattern with black ink over the „faux watercolor“ area.

After that I took some colored texture spray (by Imagine Crafts) and added droplets of white and black over the stamped area. This needs to dry a while.

While the droplets were drying I stamped a sentiment (stamp by Kaisercraft) and fussy cut it. I also used a nice feather (a present by my lovely scrappy friend Lizzy <3) to go behind the sentiment.

Finally I adhered everything, outlined the card with a black pen and added some glitter glue onto the arrows for additional detail. Fun and easy!

So now is your turn – hope you like this months theme and join us for another fun MMCC challenge over HERE!
