Full Deck Challenge 2025 / 5 (dark green)

Hello, here is my next deck card share for the 2025 Full Deck Challenge. This time the theme is “dark green”.

I used a paper gifted by Yuna on the background, as well as a gelli printed paper (I used Rubber Dance stamps for that). In addition I used my constant (a date stamp) and some old Sassafras alphabet stickers. The label sticker is something I took from previous deck into this one.

Then I added a stamped word (Rubber Dance stamps) and a word sticker, some yarn and two fodder pieces that originate from my last year´s 100 day challenge. I fiinished the background with a Edding glitter brush pen in green.

Here is the video for you to watch:

I am enjoying this challenge very much! Not too much pressure, as it´s only one a week.

Happy crafting,

Full Deck Challenge 2025 / 4 (light green)

Hello and happy Sunday! Here is my take on the Full Deck Challenge with deck card 4. Theme for this one is “light green”.

I used a sheet of the Artist Almanac 2023 on the background with Rubber Dance stamp set “Pencil Marks 8”. I also again added a collage paper piece gifted to me by Yuna. My constant here again is a date stamp.

In addition to those products, I added a label sticker, some 49andMarket fabrick tape bits, a light green washi tape and a fussy cut image of a man. I finished the piece off with the word “live”. Also something I have added to each deck card so far (stamped with Rubber Dance stamps).

See the video here:

Thanks for stopping by! See you again in a week or so with another FDC challenge take!

Full Deck Challenge 2025 – 3 “yellow”

Hello! I decided to join the 2025 Full Deck Challenge. It´s been called to life by ShanoukiArt and this years theme is a collage on a deck of playing cards (or similar). A deck card a week with a different “theme”.

Here are some “rules”: one should do a continuous thing, like for example adding postal stamps (like she does) to every deck card to have something on them that binds them together. I choose to add a date stamp on every deck card. In addition one should take a bit of something from the previously done deck card material and use that on the next one too.

There is a Facebook group (look for Full Deck Challenge Group) to join for sharing one´s creations and also her YouTube channel to the weekly challenge.

It sounded so much fun that I decided to join. At least I´ll try. Here is my take for deck card 3 with the theme “YELLOW”:

Yellow is one of my favorite colors! I used the yellow parts from the gelli printed paper I used on the previous deck cards, then added again some paper bits gifted me by Yuna again. Some yellow washi tape, some Dina Wakley heavy body paint in yellow and velvet ribbon, a chipboard piece, a date stamp and a stamped butterfly (like on the previous deck card). And some glitter glue. Oh, and the Rubber Dance stamp stamped word again, too.

and here is the video:

So far I am really enjoying this! Happy crafting!

Full Deck Challenge 2025 – 2 “Orange”

Hello! I decided to join the 2025 Full Deck Challenge. It´s been called to life by ShanoukiArt and this years theme is a collage on a deck of playing cards (or similar). A deck card a week with a different “theme”.

It sounded so much fun that I decided to join. At least I´ll try. Here is my take for deck card 2 with the theme “ORANGE”:

Here I again used the same gelli print piece, like on the first deck card. This time the more orange part of it. I also added a piece of paper gifted to me by Yuna again. Some washi tape in orange, some bits and bobs from my older stash, a date stamp, a Rubber Dance butterfly and stamped word. Also a paper doll by Tim Holz.

And here is the video about the making:

Orange is not my favorite of colors, so I really had to dig thru my stash to find suitable bits :).

Full Deck Challenge 2025 – Day 1 “RED”

Hello! I decided to join the 2025 Full Deck Challenge. It´s been called to life by ShanoukiArt and this years theme is a collage on a deck of playing cards (or similar). A deck card a week with a different “theme”.

Also one should do a continuous thing, like for example adding postal stamps (like she does) to every deck card to have something on them that binds them together. It sounded so much fun that I decided to join. At least I´ll try. Here is my take for deck card 1 with the theme “RED”:

I used gelli print paper on the background (created with Rubber Dance stencil). Also I added some washi tape, a bird ephemera, some ribbon, old rub-ons, a number from my last years 100 day challenge, a Rubber Dance stamp word and finally, some papers gifted me by Yuna from Australia.

And here is a short video of the process. In the end of the video there is a link to ShanoukiArt´s original video, just in case you want to join too.

Wishing you all a wonderful day & happy crafting!

Flower canvas

Hello everyone and happy 2025!!! I am posting this project now to make sure the recipient has received it before this going live.

I painted a rose canvas for a relative for Christmas. She loves flowers, so this hopefully is/was a prefect gift for her.

I used acrylic paints, some Posca pens and a gilding fluid to create this canvas. I have done smaller versions of these flowers into journals before, but this was the first canvas I filled with roses.

Here´s to a good start into 2025 – may it be awesome, joyous, exciting and all kinds of positive to everyone. I wish that from the bottom of my heart!

Happy New Year!

Mixed Media cutouts – kreativt_uttrykk

Hello everyone!! My design team colleague at Rubber Dance Art Stamps has designed some cool mixed media cutouts and I was able to play around with them a litte.

First of all, go to her INSTA PAGE for awesome inspiration and more details on her various social media sites. Also, you can buy her cutouts in various sets (in different colours) over HERE (her Etsy-page).

And now to what I made:

I did a clean and simple style card with a tag on it that features the blue-toned cutouts. I added some details with a red Posca pen and a leftover strip of red gelli printed paper to go with all the blues and blacks. The sentiment stamps are by Rubber Dance, by the way. I also wanted to see how te cutouts would look like against a darker background, so I used a black paper bag that I decorated with several images from the “kit”.

On the background of the paper bag I have used some white and rose gold watercolor splatters for additional interest as well as a tiny red detail on the tree added with a Posca pen. The sentiment is again by Rubber Dance.

I will be sharing more inspiration here in a few days time, so do come back for more projects created with Åshild Halvorsen´s mixed media cutouts :).
Happy crafting,
