Daily Art Practice – Day 73

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am a day late with sharing this, but IRL got the better of me. It´ s been a rough two days. I will try and catch up this week, but I just didn´ t have the energy & time to share yesterday and also today´ s piece will not get done today. Oh well, life is sometimes very hard.

I used all kinds of papers and embellishments from my stash (mainly Canvas Corp & 7gypsies), a Tim Holtz paper doll, Klartext stamps, Dina Wakley paints and gloss spray as well as Gelatos and a Stabilo all.

Here are some detail photos:

I really enjoyed making this page! And love these colours together. I hope to be back tomorrow with a piece – let´ s see if IRL is in my favor tomorrow. Hope life is calmer at your end! Take care,

Frohe Weihnachten

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I am sharing a set of Christmas cards I created with older product I have been saving, some previous DT time papers and some new stamps from my stash.

This above one is done with Studio Tekturek papers, Karen Marie Klip snowmen (these I´ ve had forever in my stash and didn´ t use, because they were so cute – I know, crazy, right?!). But like I have mentioned here before; those times are gone :). I am using it all and having fun doing so from now on!

And the second card is pretty much similar, except for the background paper. That is from my DT time at Canvas Corp Brands and I love the combination of the cute snowmen and the clean black and white paper here.

The stamps on both cards are new ones I bought last summer from a Dani Peuss sale. I am a sucker for Klartext stamps and the “13 mal Weihnachten” set is basically just that 13 Merry Christmas sentiments on one sheet. And it is just perfect for this season – timeless and versatile, because of different font styles!

Wishing you a lovely, creative Sunday!

Happy Holidays card set

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a quick – almost “wordless Wednesday” – card share:

I am still stash-busting and using up product to make some farmhouse kitchen style Xmas cards. I love the Kraft with Red and Black so much!

I hope your day was a good one!

It´ s beginning to look alot like Christmas

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I am sharing yet another stash busting Christmas card with you. It is again very flat in design, so it will be easy to put into mail.

All papers are again from my Jolly Christmas mix & match paper pad from my DT time back at Canvas Corp Brands. In addition to the papers I´ ve added some red rhinestore stars and a few translucent Nuvo Jewel Drops for texture. It is a very simple card, but there are people in my circle, who love nothing more than a simple Xmas card :).

I hope your weekend will be great! I have some painting to do (not craft wise, but rather walls ;-)…). I´ m helping my son redecorate his room, so we will be busy, busy, busy this weekend.

Have a great one! xxx, Sanna

Slimline CAS Christmas card

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I am stopping by for another Christmas card share. This time made with old product from my stash and some Canvas Corp Brands Christmas papers.

How I did this card? Here is a hint 🙂 :

I pierced holes into the precut glitter Christmas tree with my Tim Holtz piercing (craft) tool, then I just added very old Basic Grey brads to create “baubles” for the tree. That´ s all! A Canvas Corp background paper to go with their sentiment paper strip and the card was done.

Such an easy way to a) recycle bits and b) reduce older stash and the tree looks kind of cute in the end with the different coloured baubles on it.

This will be a fun card to put into mail to someone special this year!
Wishing you a good day,
