Christmas cards in bulk – Rubber Dance

Hello, it´s my turn to share Rubber Dance creative goodness today. Today I am sharing a set of cards I created using bits and pieces from all the cards I have shared in November and December so far. While creating the previously shared cards I had plenty of “parts” left over, so I used them for the cards I share here today.

These were the starting points of everything and since I made plenty, here are a few more cards I created with the material left to hopefully inspire you:

For these cards I used the gelli printed red backgrounds and some Xmas Trees 1 stencil created gelli prints that I had added stamping with a stamp from the Mix It Up 5 stamp set from.

For these cards I used some of the stamped and fussy cut Textured Xmas Trees 2 images on a stenciled inked and stamped background. The stamps are from the Mit It Up 5 stamp set again and the stencil is the Marks 2 stencil.

For the last card I used the second Stars 1 gelli printed background in combination with the glitter paste Xmas Trees 1 trees. Here I fussy cut along the glitter edges to create a “cleaner” look. I also decorated the middle tree with some Nuvo Vintage Drops in red to add a fun detail.

I create plenty of Christmas cards every year and it is good to have “starting point material” ready to play with, like I did on these cards. How about you? Do you create cards in bulk? I find it hard to make 20 of the same type, therefore I work my way around and add a little different details to each card.

Happy crafting,

Gelli printed tone-in-tone Xmas card – Rubber Dance

Hello, it´s my turn to share a project over at Rubber Dance blog today. And I am up with another Christmas card idea that is very easy to do. For this card I used the Stars 1 stencil and the Textured Xmas Trees 2 stamp set.

Here is how I created this card:

I first played with the Stars 1 stencil and a gelli plate to create these two-toned prints. While doing so, I brayered the residue ink onto a clean piece of white paper which I then used to stamp some Textured Christmas Trees 2 stamp images onto. After that I just cut the papers into size, adhered them onto white card bases and then added the fussy cut Christmas trees on top. I then finished the card off with a stamped sentiment on white cardstock that was adhered on place with 3D foam.

The black pen outline combines the trees together with the background. You might notice from tree picture that there are various types of trees in the photo. I will be sharing the cards I made with those very soon.

I really like the tone-in-tone style of this card. I hope you give this idea a try!
Happy crafting,
Sanna
