You are wonderful

Hello and happy Friday! Remember last week when I created a slimline 70th birthday card? Well, while I was creating that one, I had some leftover tinted paste on my palette, so I wiped it into a brown background. As I looked it the next day, I wanted to make a card with that piece, too. Here is what I ended up creating:

I really like the fall colour combination of the paper with the stenciled roses on it. Then some Gonis lace border, some old paper flower in same colours, a brad from my junk box and a Klartext stamp on top and voilá! The card was done.

I really like the look of this card. And you know what happened? I ended up emptying the whole jar of the lace paste at ONCE!!! I figured I had so many molds in my stash that I could fill them with the paste and see what happens; if it will work with thicker molds too. And IT DID! So I have now plenty of decor pieces done and waiting to get used. I had totally forgotten how fun it is to work with molds. And this paste makes them a bit flexible, so they don´ t break that easily. I will make sure I let you know when I use them on my projects :).

Have a great weekend, lovelies!

You´re Tweet!

Hello and happy Tuesday! I´m stopping by to share another stash-busting project with you. I have boxes full of stickers and various embellishments that I have been saving for “that special occation”. Who is with me here? It´s horrible, isn´t it? If you don´t use the product that “special day” will just never come!!! So I´ve stopped hoarding! I am slowly reducing my stash at my studio. And it will probably take LOOOONG until one even can notice a difference *rollingeyes*.

So don´t be like me, don´t hoard :). Use that lovely product up when you buy it! Trust me. That is the best way.

For this card I´ve used some pretty old stickers – I honestly even don´t know who they were by. Anyone recognize these? All I know is that they are old.. But they still made for a cute birthday card, right?

Oh, and this new art of photo setup is a gorgeous plate I purchased from the lovely Tulü Porzellan in Vienna. Do check them out, they have the most gorgeous kitchenware and to very reasonable prices! And no, I don´t get any money for saying this – I just really like their products :)!

So because it´s old product, I´ll add you similar ones to the link list, just in case you want to create something similar. It´s a really easy idea. Some patterned paper on the background and then 3D stickers and die-cuts and a stamped sentiment.

Have a lovely crafty day!

#finishedinfeb – Card Set 7

Hello and happy Monday! Today I´m again stopping by to share yet another set of cards, created with my #finishedinfeb product stash for a challenge, called to life by Donna. For all of the card that I´ve created for this challenge, I´ve used a pre-selected product stash and tried to keep almost solely to that stash.

So far that plan has worked out pretty well! For these cards I used some of the journaling cards in my pre-selected stash, then added the patterned papers on the back and some stamping with the stamps from the product pack. Very clean and simpe again, but works really well, because of the patterned paper on the background.

They too, were in the pack. One paper pack is by Carta Bella and the other one is by Studio Calico. Both perfect small sizes for cardmaking. And the go SUCH A LONG WAY!!! I really like the tropical feel of these birthday cards :).

So there is still at least one set to go for sure. And I still have a couple of days! I cannot imagine how many it´s already been this month! Awesome! I´ve really enjoyed doing this challenge and I´ve notices that PLANNED STRUCTURE really makes me create even more. So I am for sure going to challenge myself more often in the future!

Wishing you all a great week!

Birthday cards

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m sharing a set of birthday cards with you. There are again done using very old Basic Grey papers. I´m still stash busting, as you can see.

I´ve just pretty much layered the papers and the chipboards on top of each other and added a stamped sentiment. Stamp is by Elizabeth Craft Designs, by the way.

I still have a few pieces of this paper left, but I´ve basically busted one block of 12×12 paper so far from this collection, so I´m very proud of myself. So today, it´s basically “wordless Wednesday” as there is not much I can say to these cards :). Hope you like them, tho :).

Happy crafting,

Birthday cards

Hello and happy Monday! Stash busting journey continues and today I´m sharing yet another set of birthday cards, created with older product. These happen to be older Basic Grey papers, rub-ons and chipboard elements on these cards. I really like to patterns and colours and combined with some Elizabeth Craft Designs stamps and Nuvo Drops they really look great, if I say so myself.

Above is set one. As you can see from the background, there are still a few papers to be used, but I´m almost there :). It´s was a full pack of papers, when I started and look where I am already :).

And set two. These are more clean and simple in style. And even the rub-ons still work well, even though they must be almost 10 years old by now. Awesome quality!

For decor I´ve again added some Nuvo Drops and stamps by Elizabeth Craft Desings. Easy peasy and very effective.

I especially like the one with the stamped flowers on it. I don´t know why, really. Maybe, because the background is solely yellow. One of my fave colours!!! And the stamped flowers just work so well with the paper I think.

That´s all from me today! I should get ready to mail some Xmas cards and think about presents, but for some reason, with the lockdown and all, I just cannot move myself towards such things yet. Have you done all preparations yet? I think I find it hard this year, because there will be no normal Christmas and it just does not feel the same…

Have a great day and take care!
