Spring Fling Blog Hop & Linky Party – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone, it´s time for another day of STAMPlorations blog hop & linky party!! Are you ready for some SPRING FLING fun???

Here is my card project as today´s inspiration:

For this card I used the Leaf Prints 3 stencil in combination with the All Blooms stencil. Both available at the STAMPlorations online store. I also added a STAMPlorations clear sticker to the card (from the April Showers set), but only used the word „spring“ on the card, instead of the whole sentiment.

This card is really easy to make. Just place the stencil onto a white card base, apply Distress Inks in green, yellow, orange and pink tones onto the white paper and blackground thru the stencils with a blending brush. Then die cut the flower stencil image with a die cut die, add the flower, clear sticker and the rhinestones. Adhere onto the card base and voilá, the card is done! Very simple, fast and foremost SO MUCH FUN!

Of course there are also prizes involved in this hop (read all details on the STAMPlorations blog here). Spring Fling Blog Hop & Linky Party – STAMPlorations

And now to my project for the hop. Here is my spring themed project, created with STAMPlorations Spring Fling section product, to inspire you today:

I am an absolute tulip lover. They are my very favorite flowers!! There are many more, but tulips just have something that make me smile every single time. And this tulip themed stencil by Shery is just gorgeous!!! I love it. So I had to use it for todays blog post. And this one is also so easy to make. It´s basically just one layer (except for the clear sticker and rhinestones). I placed the stencil directly onto a white card base and took my blending brushes out with Distress Inks. Then I applied the ink with the brush thru the stencil onto the card base using pink, red and green tones. Voilá!

For the sentiment I cut the April showers clear sticker set sticker in pieces and added one part of the sentiment onto the front of the card and the second part inside the card. For additional sparkle I added a few rhinestones. That´s it! Fast, simple, easy & FUN!

Love, love, love this stencil so much!

This event goes all the way until May the 31st, so you have plenty of time to hop, create your linky party lists and leave comments on all participants blogs. Remember to always start at the STAMPlorations blog to not miss anyone. There is so much fun going on, so you definitely don´t want to miss out on this!

Happy hopping, shopping and creating!

Pink and blue stenciled birthday cards

Hello there everyone, have you been following the stencil blog hop over at STAMPlorations blog? I hope you have! I just adore the projects the STAMP team girls have created. So much inspiration is shared there, I really suggest, you take a look :).

And talking stencils, I have been playing a little more with my new stencil designs and wantd to share some additional cards, created with the new stencil line.

On the first card I ´ve used the Rosegarden stencil with pink and red Distress Ink directly onto the card base. Then I took out a STAMPlorations stamp and stamped sentiments here and there onto the background with black stamp ink. For decoration I took some Sassafrass flowers (I love Sassafrass!) and added them on top of everything. I also sneaked some glitter drops (Nuvo) onto the flower centres for additional sparckle.

For the second card I did basically the same, but used blue Distress Ink tones and added another stamped sentiment. Additionally I die cut a circle from kraft cardstock and added a background pattern using another of the stencils. Then finished the card off with some white and black paper flowers which I inked blue with Distress Ink. Finally, also added a glitter centre – which you sadly cannot see in the picture – using Nuvo Glitter Drops.

That´s all for today, folks. Be sure to come back for more in a couply of days time as the official blog hop will continue :).

Happy stenciling,

Clean and simple birthday card – Tonic Studios

Hi there, everyone, today I´d like to share a pinkish clean and simple birthday card with you. For this card I used plenty of Tonic Studios product.

Here is what I did:
1. Take a stencil of your choice and place it onto a white card base.
2. Apply Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Pink Flambé thru the stencil, using a palette knife, onto the card base.
3. Remove the stencil and clean under running water. Let the paste air dry.
4. Adhere a pink polka dot banner to the card. Decorate the banner with Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Crystal Drops. Let air dry.
5. Add faux stitching with a black pen around the edges.
6. Decorate with a pink paper flower and silver glitter paper dots.
7. Add black Glimmer Glaze droplets on three areas to create a visual triangle onto the card (this makes the card more interesting to look at).
8. Finish the card off with a sticker sentiment.   This is what the finished card looks like. By changing the colors of the card you can create several similar once while you are at it and use them for various purposes, depending on the occation.

Wishing you all a lovely Sunday and a great new week!
