Christmas cards

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am again stopping by to share some simple-to-make Christmas cards with you.

I´ ve cut the bear background paper into a right size, then added it as a background to the card and matted a bear journaling card with red cardstock into the center of the card. There is also some Stickles and Liquid Pearls on the heart for additional detail.

For the second card I used the same layout idea, but instead of decorating the heart with Stickles and Liquid Pearls, I used only Sticklesand added tiny glitter dots here and there.

For this card I used a tree background with a starry journaling card and added Stickles details.

For this card I used the red and white colored paper on the background and added the cute Santa journaling card as a centerpiece. Some Liquid Pearls add detail to the background. All papers are from my DT time at Studio Tekturek.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I could inspire you a little bit with the cards. Take care,

Red, white and pink

Hello lovelies and happy Thursday! Today I am stopping by to share a few more Christmas cards with you.

I have used some papers from my DT time at Studio Tekturek for these cards.

It was good to use some leftover stash up and create these red, white and pink toned cards.

The design is very simple, yet fun. I basically just layered papers and journaling cards on top of each other and added some fussy cut words and Liquid Pearls and Stickles here and there.

Maybe just a few more cards for Christmas and then I am done with this years cards. Hope I could inspire you abit with these again.

See you soon again, until then, take care!

Essen gehen – Dani Peuss

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing yet another layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September Kit and some Klartext stamps. Now this is not my usual go-to paper colour, but for some reason, it felt right for these photos.

I combined the Simple Stories Let´ s Go collection with the Dani Peuss paper (both included in the kit) and added some bits from the Sticker sale bag that I bought in summer from the Dani Peuss store. I love adding some bits and bobs to my layouts.

These photos were taken during Corona and it was one of the occations, we actually could go out to eat for a change. And it felt very good to go to a real restaurant.

We stayed quite a while there and enjoyed the company of friends and had so good food and a few drinks too. Being in and out of lockdowns was the normal procedure during that time and getting the possibility to go out and enjoy a relatively normal nicht out was truly something special. Thus the layout!

My travelling themed September kit sure has stretched out to suit quite a few other everyday life themes too! So as you can see, you don´ t necessarily have to go with the travel theme, if you don´ t want to :).

I hope you have enjoyed my September kit shares so far! See you tomorrow with another Daily Art Journal page.

Take care,

Dein Tag – Dani Peuss

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing another layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September Main Kit and various Klartext stamps. Here is what I ended up creating:

I added a total of 5 photos to the A4 sized page and used the Klartext “Collage | Fotografie” stamp set as well as the Klartext “Mia” stamp set to stamp with grey stamp ink onto the background to create a more personalized look to the page.

For stamping the images I used Nuvo Metro Grey stamp ink. Then I added the photos and the fussy cut leaves (a second paper from the Dani Peuss September Kit) around them.

The journaling is hidden behind the photos on the Simple Stories Let´ s Go collection tag that also comes with the kit. The black sticker and alpha details are all from the summer Dani Peuss Sticker surprise bag I purchased (see the video here). I used following sets here: Thickers Garden Party Alphas, Kaisercraft Sticker Book Native Breeze, Teresa Collins Favorites Sticker Set, Simple Stories Sticker book Safe Travels).

In addition to that I stamped the title with Versafine Nocturne tone using the Klartext stamp set “So viele Kerzen” and a date roller stamp from my own stash. And since I love using yellow, I grabbed the Dina Wakley Gloss Spray in tone Lemon and added the droplets onto the finished page.

I really love these colours so much and the woodgrain paper with the grey stamping and yellow bits really is near to my heart. Makes me happy!

And I am even happier, if I could inspire you with my layou a little bit!
See you again tomorrow with another art journal page share and then after that I still might have another Dani Peuss Kit layout waiting to be shared.

Mir Dir – Dani Peuss

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am stopping by to share another layout with you. This one is created with the Dani Peuss September 2022 Main Kit and September Klartext stamp (plus a few other stamps from Klartext).

The title of this layout translates to: “with you”. I wanted to scrap a few recent everyday photos, because life also happens in the ordinary, not just on vacation. And I found these photos very scrap worthy :).

I used following Klartext stamps on this layout: 2209 – Die Welt entdecken, 5026 – collage|fotografie, 5034 – Mia. When stamping, I used different stamp ink tones to stamp onto the background (Hero Arts Wet Cement & Soft Granite, Versafine Nocturne and Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber).

On the backgound I have used a Dani Peuss paper with Simple Stories Let´ s Go! Collection papers on top. The embellishments are from the same Simple Stories series, but the stickers I added to the very bottom are from my Sticker Surprise Pack from Dani Peuss (see video about that here) and Teresa Collins Favorites Sticker Set.

In addition I also added some yellow splatters (Dina Wakley Gloss Spray – lemon) to the page. Something I love to do :). And I like yellow, so there´ s that :).

The layout itself is about my life with hubs. The second photo is posed, by the way. He really did not suffer that much when going shopping with me. He actually did that voluntarily :). He just needs a little preparing time to adjust to the thought and when he gets that, everything works out fine :). And to the first photo; he actually said that moment: “Show me how to bake a cake, so I can make one for you some day”. Thus, very scrap worthy photos and events :).

I hope you enjoyed today´ s layout share and if you got inspired, hop over to the Dani Peuss store for lovely kits and stamps.

See you soon, have a great weekend!
