Hello lovelies and happy Sunday! Today I want to share a bright and colourful art journal page with you. This one just emerged from random play with colours.
I played with paint residues on the very bottom and applied the residue paint from a stencil onto the empty page with a baby wipe (you can see small areas of the stencil pattern on the background if you look carefully). There is also some green paint residue as well as blue one on the background.
I then draw circles onto the page and added lots of pigment with Distress Crayons in blue and greentones as well as black. On the other areas I also applied bright and happy colours of crayons, then drew the word “joy” onto an old book page, fussy cut that and adhered it on place.
On the circles there are fussy cut stars as highlights ad white scribble stick splatters to add detail. On the brighter areas I added black stamping for contrast. The stamp set is by STAMPlorations.
I hope your Sunday is as happy as the colors on this page! xxx, Sanna

Hello everyone and happy Friday!!! Are you ready for a huge and happy blog hop? This amazing blog hop party was called into life by Catherine Pooler and Alexandra Smith (Hedgehog Hollow) and it has 31 participating companies!! How amazing is that?! There are lots of prizes to be won, giveaways and a ton of fun and joyful inspiration available for you. Are you ready?
So if you have been hopping thru the whole list of bloggers, you have reached me thru Alanna Moses´s blog :). Should you have gotten lost on the way, simply go to Catherine´s or Alexandra´s post – all the bloggers joining in are listed there!!
Here is my project. I created a bright and happy flower card with a sentiment that perfectly fits the #spreadjoynotgerms blog hop motto :).
I´m also happy to be able to give one lucky winner a $10,- gift code for the STAMPlorations store!!! So everyone who leaves a comment to this blog post will be eligible for that draw also (remember to add your email-adress so I can contact you!). I will draw the winner for the $10,- GC for the STAMPlorations store on the 24th of April and contact the winner after that.
Also, to be eligible for the other hop prizes, remember to comment and leave some love on the blogs as you hop along. I would like to know what is your favorite way of spreading joy? All the other prizes from the participating companies are listed on the blog post of Catherine and Alexandra!!

Just for fun and to give you more details on how I created this card, here is a start-to-finish video for you to watch! Hope you enjoy it!
Oh, and while I had the stamps out, I created another #spreadjoynotgerms card:
That´s all from me today. But there are still so many amazing projects to be seen on the other participants blogs. And so many amazing prizes, too!
For example, STAMPlorations is giving away a $25,- gift certificate for their online store on their blog, Beacon Adhesives is giving away a product package and at Brutus Monroe you can win a $50 gift certificate to their store! And these are just the tip of the iceberg here!! Hope you hop along and spread some joy with us!! Have fun and good luck!!
Hi there everyone and happy Thursday! Today I´m just quickly dropping by to share a few hybrid cards I created. These are done using new digi files and patterned papers from my older stash.
Since the digi designs (Studio Tekturek) were very bold on their own, I didn´t want to add to much additional detail to the cards. So I just took a die cut die and cut the digi files into a right size. then I added some glitter drop and crystal glaze details onto them.
For this card I used a Tonic Studios rectangle die to cut the sentiment piece. Then added some crystal glaze (Nuvo) and a golden ribbon. Also a small clear sticker sentiment decorates the card additionally.
On my second card I pretty much did the same steps, except I also added that grey area onto the card. You are probably wondering what that is? Well, it´s a rub-off area, when you rub the grey layer with a coin, a sentiment will be revealed :). KInda fun, eh?
Here is a detail of what is hidden underneath:
So I basically just added the “never give up” clear sticker sentiment onto the card, then placed the scratch off layer on top. Now the recipient has a fun interactive card!
Wishing you a fabulous day! Hope you are all doing ok? It´s day 25 for me here in Austria and yesterday I felt like I´d hit rock bottom on social distancing. Nothing felt right and I had no energy and felt absolutely demotivated on doing ANYTHING. So I went to bed early and today has been much better. Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend. Let´s try and make the best of it!
For the day 3 celebration I´ve created a set of stenciled cards for which I used my newest STAMPlorations stencil line stencils. So here goes, this is the first set:
I used the Tapestry and Onion is Raws stencils on the above cards and I love how they turned out.
What I did, is I basically started by applying Distress Ink and/or Distress Oxide onto a piece of white paper. Next I chose a stencil I wanted to use and placed it onto the inked paper. I then applied a layer of Distress Oxide thru the stencil, either using only one colour or mixing and blending colours.
After that I die cut the circles and decorated them with washi tapes, brads and flowers and/or stickers as well as Nuvo Drops and roller stamp sentiments. Next I adhered the finished circles to a yellow toned card background and stamped a sentiment and added outlining. That´s it. Fun, fast and easy.
For my second set of cards I used the same basic idea of a circle, except I just added stenciled details using Distress Oxides only. The stencils I used are Art Flowers and Retro Hearts, also from my line of stencils. For my card centerpiece I chose to add a heat embossed “Congrats” sentiment. The stamp is also by STAMPlorations. And for these cards I´ve also inked a white card base into a matching tone (either yellow or blue). And for additional decorational elements I´ve added Nuvo Confetti or Sequins.
Now be sure to hop over to the STAMPlorations blog to see what the rest of the team girls have created for today´s celebration post. And join the fun by creating a wishlist and link it or create a fun project yourself and link it up or leave some love to the desing team members´ blogs!
If you are not joining in from a blog, be sure to tag @stamplorations on your post and use #stamplorations6thbirthday 🙂 !!!
Wishing STAMPlorations a happy birthday and many, many more creative years to come!
