More cards with STAMPcuts Retro Gratitude words

Hello there! Today I´m sharing a second set of STAMPcut cards created using the new Retro Gratitude typography pieces by STAMPlorations.

On my first card I´ve used the Henna Pattern stencil and doodled a background pattern for the typography piece. I repeatedly drew the same areas of the stencil next to each other with a golden gel pen and colored the areas with it. After that I outlined every single pattern with a white gel pen to make them stand out more.

After that I adhered the Retro Gratitude sentiment into the middle and added a small enamel heart next to it. I also outlined the card with a white gel pen to give it more shape.

For the second card I used a green paper on the background that I stamped with the Simple Expressions: Happiness clear stamp and a Distress Oxide Ink. I covered the whole background with the stamp image and created a DIY patterned paper that way.

I used the Retro Gratitude typography piece as a focal point on the card and added a few golden pigment droplets around it. Next to the droplets I also added a few enamel dots for additonal decor.

These typography pieces are great as focal points, because they are bold, sturdy and big. Just grab a sentiment you like and create a card around it. And you don´t need much – just a piece of patterned paper and the sentiment will do. If you prefer more, go for that embellishment stash and add tiny bits and bobs. Have fun!!
