Seriously-tag

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another mixed media tag I did recently and sent it on it´ s way to Germany. Hoping it has arrived there already, I am posting this tag today :).

This is a gelli printed background combined with stamping, stenciling with Nuvo Drops and fussy cut bits. There is also a really tiny Hambly Screen Print included on the tag. It´ s been in my stash FOREVER!

Some Posca pens for additional detail and a Stampotique stamp by Daniel Torrente combined with Klartext stamp and a 7gypsies stamp. I also added fussy cut hearts and stenciled Nuvo Drops thru one of my Stamplorations stencils.

I hope this tag makes/made the recipient happy :)! It was just a little happy mail surprise just for fun.

See you soon again!

Masculine Tag

Hello lovelies and happy Saturday and happy NEW YEAR 2022! Today I have a simple masculine tag to share with you. A few wishes for the new year 2022 in “Denglish” :)!!

I had been organizing my scrap room a few months ago and found lots of bits and pieces I had totally forgotten I had. Like these 7 Dots Studios papers (Destination Unknown). I won them as a prize quite a while ago and hardly have used them so far. And then there was this stamped tag just waiting for to be used. I combined the papers with the stamped tag and voilá, the piece was almost done.

Just a few stamped sentiments from Klartext by Dani Peuss (Denglish 2 stamp set) to go with the rest and a very old Hambly Screen Print and that was pretty much it. I really like the look of this one. It will make a nice present tag for someone!

I was chatting with a friend of mine today and we talked about what had inspired us during this year. My best inspiration probably came from the 5 minute projects. They showed me that there does not always have to be hours and hours of time – you can do just a few minutes a day and still develop, have fun and reach set goals. It also gave me a certain freedom to create, ugly or not, it was still good crafty time! I might continue that practice next year too! Have you tried doing the 5 minute challenge? I highly recommend it!

Wottsefack?

Hello and happy Tuesday! It´ s a tag share kind of day today. I´ ve again used leftover pieces and went towards ugly art again for a change.

The background was a really ugly alcohol ink experiment piece what I cut into a tag shape and “un-uglied” it as well as I could ;-). I added some Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays, some Nuvo Crackle Mousse thru a stencil and a piece of gelli printed tissue paper. For a focal point I chose a Klartext stamp and a Collage Collective (also by Dina) face that I colored in with Distress Crayons and Gloss Spray.

I think she turned out pretty okay. I hope your day is great! I´ ll have a day off tomorrow (yay!), because someone I know once said one should not work on ones birthday ;-). So there, I´ m taking the day off and doing something nice!!

See you soon,

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 14

Hello and happy Saturday! I am very late with my #tuac5minchallenge share today, but it´s due to a construction site in our garden and we had been working the whole day outside. I did the video first thing in the morning, but editing everything AFTER working the whole day outside took a little longer than planned…

So keeping it short. Here is my take for today:

And here is the video:

Did you notice HOW MUCH TIME I had for this tag? I finished under the 5 minutes!! Just the stupid rub-ons would not stick onto the old book paper :-)… I hope to see you tomorrow again. Should be up earlier than today (fingers crossed). Have a great evening!
