Water – Dani Peuss September Kit

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! Today I am stopping by to share a layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September Main Scrapbook Kit. I did a A4-size page for a change. Here it is:

I printed a photo strip with my Canon Selphy and added the Simple Stories ephemera from the Dani Peuss September Kit around it. I then added a journaling sticker next to the photo strip. This is by Heidi Swapp (Journal Studio Stickers) and was part of the surprise sticker pack buy I made in July at Dani Peuss online store.

The alpha stickers are white stickers from the kit which I first colored in light blue and then added white Signo-Uni-Ball marker dots on top. The stamping is done with the Klartext stamp that comes with the September kit. For stamping I used the VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink tone (also available at the DP store).

I hope you enjoyed my layout and hopefully also got inspired by it! I love water and swimming – it soothes my soul and helps me reduce stress and forget about all sorrows. So this pool of ours (even though not quite finished yet) has brought me so much joy already. I am so glad we decided to build one!

Dani Peuss order(s) from July

Hello everyone! I just thought I´ d drop by to share two short videos with you on my latest shopping spree at www.danipeuss.de :). Enjoy!

First I got myself 3 sets of stamp storage sleeves – they perfectly fit the Klartext stamps in regular size and as I have plenty of those stamps, I wanted to orgazine them nicely into these sleeves:

Next here is a peek of the Sticker surprise bag there is up for grabs at the website. I just love adding tiny details to my layouts and albums and stickers always work for me. So I got myself a mystery grab bag of those:

Veggie-Album – May spread

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I am stopping by to share the May-spread of my year-long vegeterian monthly journal, where I document the journey I started in January 2022. This time it´ s time for the May spread:

I have been eating a vegetarian menu since end of January now and on these two pages I documented the most important things that happened in May – diet wise. I have become a tea-junkie. No coffee for me anymore. I love drinking tea now! I find it also very calming for some reason.

I have also managed to get over the April tiredness (that was due Covid) and did so much sport in May that I hardly can believe it myself :). And I feel better again. Also I bought another veggie cook book – this time for baking. I miss baking since I changed my diet, so I got myself new recipies to experiment with :).

Here is a short start-to-finish on the pages, too:

I also let some labwork done on my blood values and they look good, except I need to add Vitamin B12 supplements to my diet, as I am not eating meat anymore. That was something I was calculating to happen at some point, so no surprise there. So I am taking the supplements now to keep the levels in right order. Other than that I am still going strong with the new diet and feeling really good doing it. So I´ ll keep doing it.

I have used the new “unser schönes Zuhause” Klartext stamp set on this page. And here is a short video on the new stamp sets for June:

Hair Story Minialbum – Dani Peuss

Hallo ihr Lieben! Heute habe ich wieder eine weiteres Minialbum zum herzeigen :). Es ist schon irgendwie komisch.. jahrelang mache ich keine Minialben und in diesem Jahr habe ich schon etliche mit den Dani Peuss Kits gestaltet. Ob es an den Kits liegt, dass mir das Gestalten der Minibücher so viel Spass macht? 🙂

Dieses Album ist eine Kurzgeschichte über die “Haar-Entwicklung” meines Sohnes über die letzten Jahre. Ich wollte diese Fotos unbedingt festhalten, da sie eine besondere Geschichte erzählen. Und vllt. wird mein Sohn eines Tages dieses Album zu Schätzen wissen :).

Für die allererste Seite habe ich diesen Spruch mit dem neuen “Labels + Jule Mini” (Klartext-Stempel aus dem Mai-Kit) gestempelt. Die bunten Papiere sind alles aus dem Mai Papier Add-On und dazu habe ich ein paar Seiten Kraft Cardstock als “Innenleben” für das Album verwendet.

Zusätzlich zu den Dani Peuss-Produkten aus dem Monat Mai habe ich immer passende Klartext Stempel verwendet und die Seiten damit ergänzt.

Allgemein habe ich die Seiten sehr simpel gehalten, damit die Geschichte hinter den Fotos in den Vordergrund rückt und die Fotos schön zur Geltung kommen.

Ein paar Dekoteile aus meinem eigenen Fundus sind als Ergänzung zum Kit dazu gekommen. Und die Buchstabensticker von Simple Stories (aus Dezember 2021 Kit) haben auch so gut dazu gepasst, dass ich sie hie und da verwendet habe.

Die Cover-Seiten habe ich mit den Papieren komplett beklebt und auf den Innenseiten habe ich nur kleinere Streifen verwendet. So bleibt der Gesamteindruck ruhiger, wenn das Kraft Cardstock sich auf allen Seiten wiederholt.

Mal sehen, vielleicht gibt es ja dann später noch ein “Teil 2” dazu, wenn sich die Haare noch oft ändern :). Auf jedem Fall sind die diversen Haarstile hier festgehalten worden und können später begutachtet werden. Ich finde solche Erinnerungen ganz wichtig, aber auch witzig, festzuhalten.
