Hello and welcome to the Elizabeth Craft Designs “Winter sweater” blog hop!!!Today the Elizabeth Craft Designs Design Team are having a special blog hop featuring the Winter Sweater die set. For this theme I created two Holiday cards using the Winter Sweater die cut die and some ModaScrap papers with Soft Finish Cardstock.
The hop started on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog, so if you just happened to hop onto my blog you may want to head over there now so you can start at the beginning of the hop. You do want to miss anything and there is lots to see!
I wanted to create a “Crazy Christmas Sweater” kind of card, so I die cut the sweater from green, red and white paper and used the paper piecing technique to build the particular sweaters featured on the cards. For decoration I also added some Prills from the Elizabeth Craft Designs store. They make a fun detail to the sweaters.
The background pieces are cut with Dotted Scallop Squares from Soft Finish Cardstock and I´ve then added some background stamping (snowflakes) with Joset´s Winter Sentiments stamp set stamps and light grey and white stamp ink onto the cards. Finally I added a stamped seasonal sentiment to both of the cards and little details with a white gel pen.
I hope you enjoyed this winter sweater card idea and are having fun hopping with us!!! As a bonus to celebrate the blog hop, Elizabeth Craft Designs is offering customers a 15% off the winter Sweater die using the code: “BRRR” at checkout. This offer will last until Sunday, October 1.
Thank you for dropping by! Be sure to continue on the blog hop and click on the next person on the list which is Sandy Diller. Here are also all the blog links, just in case you lost track on the way 🙂
Happy crafting and happy hopping,
