Hello there, everyone! While creating these cards for the November Mixed Media Card Challenge reveal, I just could not stop. I kept on creating and mainly used bits and pieces and scraps from my stash to do so. And while creating, I got a little bit off topic, so I actually could not use these four cards for the challenge. Can you guess, when I noticed that I had drifted far away from the original topic?? Yes, at the very end, when I had all these cards finished and got my camera out to take pictures!!! At that point it hit me what had happened. Oh well, such things happen while you are having fun ;-).
Here I´ve used some Glimmer Mist to create the background color splodges, then I just applied black Glimmer Glaze, some Basic Grey stickers and a stamped Kaisercraft sentiment. I don´t know if you can quite see it, but there is also some iridescent texture paste on the right side of the card. Applied thru a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil :-).
For this card I again first applied some blue and yellow spray ink onto the background. Then added some metallic texture paste (Imagine Crafts) thru another The Crafter´s Workshop stencil and then used some Basic Grey stickers (from my older stash). Finally stamped the sentiment (Studio AE for Technique Tuesday), added some rhinestones and flowers.
This particular card is a border sticker buster 🙂 – I´ve applied various Crate Paper border stickers (again older stash here!!) overlappingly, then added some doodling, a stamped sentiment and some pearl arrows. This one might be closest to the November MMCC theme, but still got disqualified by me :).
And finally the “tricolore” misted background (again Mists by Tattered Angels), then older white rub-ons (I think these were by Hambly?), a Kaisercraft stamped sentiment, some black ink splatters and a black pen outlining to finish it up.
Even though it´s a topic gone wrong kind of card set, I really like how these turned out. Fun creative times :).
