To have and to hold – Dani Peuss

Hello lovelies! Today I am sharing another slimline card with a gift card pocket inside. This time it is a wedding card.

On the front I have used a green paper from the Dani Peuss July Kit as the card background. These papers have the perfect size for slimline cards, by the way. If you tilt the paper, you have enough material to fill in 3 pages of the card (see how I used the same paper inside the card in the photos later).

For decoration I used some older stickers and papers, as well as Wycinanka chipboards, from my older stash. The die cut dies I have used here are by Elizabeth Craft Designs. I have plenty of layers on top of each other here to create a really romantic cluster of leaves, pearls, ribbons and stickers.

Inside the card I created a pocket on the left side to place in a gift card or even money and punched the border with a Martha Stewart border punch. Remember how we used to collect these quie a few years ago? I have been trying to incorporate old product and “old” tools (do tools get old/go out of fashion?) into my recent cards. They still work like a dream and if the embellishments match too, why not use them?

The cream toned paper is by Prima Marketing and also from my older stash, but as the color worked togehter so well, I used it here.

I really like how this card turned out. It is festive for sure, so I am hoping the recipients will like it too.

See you soon again with another wedding card share!

Belated STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Party – day 3

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today we continue the STAMPlorations belated 7th Birthday Party with day 3 full of inspiration and possibilities to play along and win some prizes!

For the 3rd day project I created another slimline card with the new Slimline stencils at the STAMPlorations store. I also used the Bloomfully Sparkle stamp (also a new stamp in the line) set on this card.

I used the Mosaic in Squares stencil to create the background for the card. For coloring I used red, pink, orange and yellow Distress Inks to gradually change the color on the background. Then I added a velvet ribbon, a piece of chipboard and the rose image stamped with the Bloomfully Sparkle Stamp. I colored the stamped image with Distress Inks also. Adn for finishing touches I added a sentiment from the same stamp set and some green sequins. Everything got mounted on a dark pink cardstock in the end.

I am so much enjoying these slimline stencils and creating with them and Distress Inks at the moment. This is something I love going back to from time to time. Simple techniques, yet you can do so much.

Now hop over to the Day 3 post at STAMPlorations blog. There are plenty of prizes for grabs and a linky party going on. Also be sure to create a celebrations themed project and link it up! Lovelies, come and comment and link and play along!!! It´s a party week at STAMPlorations!!

ALSO!! All products in the store are 10% off instantly throughout October. PLUS if you use my design team discount code: STAMPGIRLSANNA upon checkout when ordering, you will get this not-yet-released stencil called “Just Plaid” for free!!

See you tomorrow with another fun day of birthday celebration!
Happy crafting,

Here are a few projects I´ve created using a selection of the brand new products. I have listed all used products I used on the end of this post :).

My first project is a layout of my son´s birth(day). Sorry for the dark photo, but it was 23:50 o´clock that day :)..

And here are some details. I have written his birth data inside the chipboard feet. I thought it looks cute that way.

Next a simple Father´s Day card – nothing too romantic for a man, right? 😉

And finally, two stencilled cards with much more colour than on the previous one :). After leaving a comment here on my blog, hop over to the lovely Ania Komeda´s blog!!
Oh, almost forgot ;-)….One lucky winner will also get a small selection of chipboard from me. So make sure you comment (and please do leave your email addy for me, so that I can easily contact you). This is what I have prepared for you – perfect embellishments for baby cards and layouts:
