Alles Gute – Tonic Studios

Hello there lovelies! Today I´d again like to share a die cut card, created using mainly Tonic Studios product. Hallo ihr Lieben, heute zeige ich euch wieder eine Karte, die ich hauptsächlich mit Tonic Studios Produkten gestaltet habe!

I´ve die cut the frames using the “Alles Gute Layering Die Set” and white cardstock. The cardstock on the background is from the Tonic Craft Kit No. 7 from March 2018.

I also stamped and die cut some flowers from white cardstock with the Dainty Daisies coordinating stamp and die sets. Then I used the flower forming tool to create the 3D-looking flowers. I layered single flowers on top of each other to create the look. For finishing touches I added some Nuvo silver sequins.

After putting the card together, I added some Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Drops onto the flowers very randomly. This adds just a soft shimmer.

Hi there, today I´m stopping by to share a die cut card with you. This time I´ve used the Tonic Studios German die cut dies. This set is called “Für Dich Layering Die Set” and it consists of 7 pieces that you can layer in various ways.

Here is what I created:
I die cut everyting from white cardstock, then applied some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse with a blending brush onto the “Für Dich” sentiment piece. I left the rest of the frames untreated. The green cardstock is from the Tonic Studio March 2018 Kit.  I adhered the frames on top of the green cardstock, added some faux stitching around the edges and then decorated with the die cut flowers.

The flowers are from the Dainty Daisies coordinating stamp and die cut die sets. I first stamped the images with red ink onto white cardstock, then die cut the the coordinating die and finally colored the flowers with pink Distress Ink.

Before adhering the flowers on place I formed them into dimensional flowers using the Floral Crafters Tool Set. For decoration I added some Nuvo Sequins in silver. I really like these dimentional flowers alot!

That´s all from me for today, hope your week is getting along nicely!

Cathedral boxes – Tonic Studios

Hello everybody and happy Wednesday! Today I´d like to share some Cathedral Gift Boxes I created with that Tonic Studios die cut die.

I´ve used the Cathedral Gift Box die (this set contains 30 dies in total!!) in combination with the papers from Tonic Craft Kits #6 and #7. I am totally in awe about the high quality of the embossed papers, as I rolled them thru my die cutting machine several times to make sure the die cuts were perfect and NOTHING happened to the embossed paper surface. The flower pattern was still there after all the die cutting was done.

I started with the very basic forms form the kit. Die cutting first the box itself (you will need a A4 sized die cutting machine for this purpose!!) with the blue papers from Tonic Craft Kit #6. After that I die cut the “cathedral window” looking pieces and adhered them onto the box base with Tonic liquid glue.

I decorated the box – after adhering it together (which was really easy to do!) only with blue felt snowflakes I already had in my stash and then added some Nuvo Glitter Drops here and there for addtional sparckle.

For the second box I piced the filigrane window pieces and die cut the two “windows” into the box shape. Here I again used the lovely blue papers from the Tonic Kraft Kit #6. To make sure I got really good die cutting results with the window pieces, I rolled the die cut thru the machine 3 times. That way the small pieces practically fell off on their own :).

I also added two “window”  pieces which I die cut form white cardstock and adhered them with Nuvo glue pen onto the solid sides of the box. Then I finished the box with some Harvest Moon Glitter Accents (this is a gorgeous color in combination with teal and white!) drops.

The last box was die cut from the lovely light pink paper that came with the Tonic Craft Kit #7. This time I used the flower die cut window piece in the same manner like on the teal toned box: two windows die cut directly from the box and two white die cut pieces added to the solid areas fo the box. I again made sure the die cuts were through and ran the pieces thru the machine several times. I finished this box off by adding some Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Drops here and there for decoration.

Also on the top of the boxes I either added some paper flowers or a die cut tag attached to the box with a matching tiny wooden clothespin. These boxes are so much fun and will make great gift boxes for occations to come.

I always find it quite hard to build boxes together without instrucktions, but this one is very, very easy to build together. I didn´t need any instrucktions for this one :). So if I can do it, you can do it too :).

Glückwunsch – Tonic Studios

So I have been creating with the Tonic Craft Kit 07 abit during Easter and today I´m sharing a card that resulted from my playtime.

For this card I used a white card base and a raspberry pink cardstock from Tonic Studios. The lovely stamp image is from the Tonic Craft Kit 07 and I´ve stamped it with embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. After heat embossing I colored the image with the Nuvo Watercolour pens (blue tones) and Nuvo Alcohol Markes (in pink tones) and also with the Shimmer Powder (green tones). Finally I die cut this image with the die cut dies that came with the Kit 07. Also the German sentiment is by Tonic Studios (available at QVC) and it is also colored with the Shimmer Powder. In the end I just added a faux stitching around the edges to highlight the card a little bit more.

I am not much of a colorer, but I still liked playing around with the different pens, I am thinking, the more I practise, the better the results will get in time. Oh, I also sneaked some Nuvo Glitter Drops to the flowers to add a slight sparckle here and there.

That´s it from me for today, see you around with more projects soon,
happy crafting,

Congrats – Tonic Studios

Hello there, everyone and happy Easter!! I recently received the Tonic Studios Craft Kit 07 and did a little play with the Shimmer Powder that was in the kit. I recorded a short video with some ideas, how this product can be used, so I am sharing it here with you today:

Also, after editing the video, I used some of the bits and pieces of paper I had created during testing the product, and created a set of cards. I really, really adore the green tones of this powder! And the best part, it comes with lots of shimmer too! If you haven´t tried the kits and the powders yet, you are missing out in my opinion :). Besides, this green toned powder works sooo well in combination with pink. It creates a perfect spring color tone combo:

I´ve also used some delicate butterflies on some of the cards – these are from the Tonic Craft Kit 06. I love how the stencil image turned out with the powder!

On this card I used the negative stencil image (from the video) and added some color to that piece using the pink Nuvo Glitter Marker from the Northern Lights Glitter Marker set. This also came with the Tonic Craft Kit 06, but is also available separately at the Tonic Studios store, if you are interested. I´ve added all the links to the used product at the end of this post, if you are interested on a particular product.

Here I used the powder with the stencil and embossing powder to create a fun resist background with it.

Finally, on my last card I used the light green background piece from the video and applied some Pink Opal Glimmer Paste thru the same stencil onto the surface for more interest and texture. There are also tiny dots here and there to decorate each card. I just cannot get enough of the Nuvo Drops  – <3 them!!!

Wishing you all a lovely Easter time with you loved ones!!!
