Fall 7 times – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Wednesday!! Today I´m sharing my first March The Wild Hare Kits project with you guys over at The Wild Hare Kits blog. There were some unexpected problems regarding my March kit, as it decided to take a world tour before arriving to me  (currently in Sydney, Australia and not here yet). So I had to make a plan „B“ on what to create with for this month. I took all my previous The Wild Hare Kits and pulled product together from those.

Here is the result of the DIY kit building:

You can see on the video what products I chose to use for this layout – all from my leftover kits! Since the kits always have so much in them, it is really easy to put together small layout kits with the residue pieces! I love my DIY March layout kit so much! And besides, I get to use up all my residue pieces this way.

For today´s layout I used the mothly sketch very loosely.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video for you to watch. Hope you like it!! I´ve got Crate Paper Flower Market, Dear Lizzy She´s Magic, Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours, Bramble Fox embellishments and Jen Hadfield This is family featured on my layout.

I hope I could inspire you to take a second look on those leftover kits of yours and get your scrap on with them. And when you share your WHK projects, remember to use #thewildharekits, so we can find you!! We´d love to see what you guys create with the kits!

Happy scrapping,

Schulball ´19 – The Wild Hare Kits

Hi everyone, today I´m sharing my first The Wild Hare Kits layout, created with the February Petite Kit. For this layout I recorded a start-to-finish video and based my page on the monthly sketch.

Here is the sketch:

and this is what my finished layout looks like:

I´ve drawn quite a few embellishments and paper leftover pieces from my August ´19 and January ´20 kits as an addition to the February kit, because I didn´t have very many embellishments in my Petite Kit. Therefore plenty of papers! Sooo, I am pulling leftovers from previous kits to my actual kit throughout the month. And it´s funny how everything still works so well together!!

For the step-by-step I´ve this time kept the video in it´s true length, so you can see how much time such a layout takes and how many times I go on pulling away and adding to the page and seaching for the right spot :). So in all, this page took about an hour to make. I could do a fast forward, but I thought it would be fun to show you the whole, true process of a page coming together. At least, how I do it.

I hope you enjoy watching the video and get inspired to try out this sketch youself! I love the grip pattern!!! And if you got interested in trying out a Wild Hare Kit youself, then go here and fill in your style profile.

See you again on Sunday with another The Wild Hare Kits project!!

You are magic – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing my first layout, created with the current January 2020 The Wild Hare Kits Deluxe Kit. I so like my surprise kit and enjoy creating with it!

The embellishments were perfect for the monthly sketch, so I started my crafty month by scrapping a layout based on the sketch.

This is it and now to my take/my layout:

I used the Dear Lizzy She´s Magic collection papers to create the grid onto the background. Also the embellishments are mainly from the same collection – except for the puffy stickers. I really like them alot!

And I added lots of the chipboard stickers as embellishments to the page following the sketch. It´s so easy to create, when everything works together so well. That´s why I like working with hand curated kits!

I´ve sneaked some stamping (done with a Carta Bella stamp set from my August 2019 kit) and also added some word stickers here and there (those were from my October 2019 kit and by Pebbles).

I´ve recorded a video for you to watch the start-to-finish process – hope you like it:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and will give the sketch a try yourself! If you share your projects – created with the Wild Hare Kits – on social media, do remember to tag us (#thewildharekits), so we can find you!! Have a great, creative day!!

Christmas Now + Then – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello and happy Wednesday!! I am starting my The Wild Hare Kits project shares for this month very early and the reason is that I really wanted to scrap a little last weekend and in the process I ended up creating a layout with the Wild Hare Kits December sketch and my Deluxe Kit.

Here is the sketch:

and this is what I ended up creating:

I used the Pink Paislee Together For Christmas papers No. 03 & 08 and the Crate Paper Comfort Thickers as well as the Crate Paper Snowflake collection die cut shapes. For additional decoration I added some faux stitching around the edges using a white gel pen and also decorated the die cut shapes with some Nuvo Fresh Snowfall Glitter Accents.

and last, but not least, there is a short process video for you to watch! Hope you enjoy it and get inspired to scrap a little yourself.

This layout is very clean and simple and therefore fast and easy to create. So if you have very little time at your hands, why not try clean and simple style for a change?

Wishing you a great day!

Simple Pleasures – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing my first November Deluxe Kit project for the Wild Hare Kits. I´ve based my layout on the November sketch. Here it is:

This sketch is so great – I loved it the second I saw it. I used the Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice Harmony paper on my layout and added some stenciling, created with the Heidi Swapp stencils that came with my kit. Also I decorated the photos with 1canoe2 Willow collection Die Cut Shapes which were also part of my kit. And for finishing touches I added plenty of Spiegelmom Scraps The Wild Hare Kits exclusive sequins.

The stamping on my layout is created with the Carta Bella stamp set from my August kit. For the stenciling I´ve used Distress Oxides and Distress Inks to create the two-toned look.

And this month I again have more time which means I can record videos to go with my layouts again. So here is the process video of the layout, hope you like it:
