Where did the time go? – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits March project share. Even though my March kit is still on it´s world tour from the US over Sydney to me, I have still been scrapping! I´ve put all my previous kit leftovers together and am creating projects with those during March.

Here is one more layout made that way – this one is also my take on our monthly SCRAPLIFT team challenge:

This month we are scraplifting our new team member Antonia (you can find her at Instagram under @antsheartseggy) . This is the layout I picked from her feed:

I love her basic layout idea so much! And the fact how the title guides the eye towards the journaling on the very bottom corner of the page. I followed her sketch with my layout, but added plenty of bits and bobs under my photo. So there are lots of layers this time.

I´ve combined something from every previous kit to this layout. As you can see, the Wild Hare Kits go such a long way, because this is already my second layout created using all my kit leftover pieces. And there is still more to be shared.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video again for you to watch. Hope you like it!!!

Now´s your turn. Pick a layout created by Antonia and lift it! Then use @thewildharekits when sharing on social media, so we can come and take a look! Have fun!!

Happy scrapping,

Enjoy Today – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Tuesday!!! Today is again one of my favorite share days for the Wild Hare Kits: it´s SCRAPLIFT PROJECT SHARE DAY!! Every month we pick one design team member and scraplift a project done by her and share the results over at the Wild Hare Kits blog. This month, we are scraplifting Brande Davison. She is a very productive scrapper with lots and lots of project shares, so it was not that easy to pick a layout. But in the end I chose this one:

I love the simplicity of this page and yet it is so full of colour. And I loved the „rays“ surrounding the photo. That is what I based my laoyut on:

I know that my layout look ALOT different to her original one, but I grabbed some ideas from her page and did not go for an identical look this time. Like I mentioned earlier, I loved the rays on her page. So I had this gorgeous Pink Paislee Truly Grateful paper full of rays in my February Petite Kit and I cut that one into half and surrounded half of the photo with rays. I intentionally did only half of the photo (you will see tomorrow, why I did that :)!!!).

Brande also had plenty of fussy cut words on her layout and I copied that idea by adding one fussy cut one (Dear Lizzy papers from my January kit). And then I used some STAMPlorations clear stickers as „journaling“ along the yellow paint line on the very left.

The title is from my October 2019 kit (I resized the file a bit bigger and inked it in 3 colors). There is also the specialty paper by Pink Paislee (fussy cut parts) on the page – that is from my November 2019 kit too. I find it fits this layout perfectly! And the Jane Hadfield sticker are also from a previous kit (October 2019), I still have a few left and the fit the layout here really well, so I added them.

For more info, also see the video I recorded – hope you like it:

Now hop over to the Wild Hare Kits blog to see what the design team girls lifted and their takes on the layouts. And then, why not take your TWHK kit out and play a little and scraplift one of the layouts? That is a lot of fun – you should definitely try it out!!! Remember to tag us, when you share your projects (#thewildharekits). 🙂

Happy scrapping,

Mom & me – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits scraplift challenge. This month the design team girls are scraplifting Jess Claire´s work.

Here is the layout I lifted:

I created a 12×12 inch layout based on Jess´s work, but other than that I pretty much kept to the design. Here is what I ended up making:

I used plenty of papers on this page, wripping them, like Jess had done on her page. I also added lots of ink splatters to the background like she did on her page.

I wanted to add lots of detail around the photo, so I added some stamping with the Dear Lizzy stamp set that came with my kit.

I even used the paper that I was not that much fond of on this layout and actually liked how it blended into the other papers and colors. Can you see it above, tucked behind the photo?

I chose this page by Jess, because I liked the way she had used the patterned papers on her page! I haven´t done paper tearing for a long time and it was really fun layering all the papers on top of each other. I also liked the way she had added the little ephemera pieces in between the papers. I did the same with the chipboard pieces!

For a better idea on the actual process, I´ve also recorded a video for you to watch!

If you get inspired by our scraplift challenges, do remember to tag us, so we can find you and come and admire your work (use: #thewildharekits).

Wishing you all a lovely day,
Happy crafting,
