Unboxing Day – The Wild Hare Kits

Good morning lovelies and happy 2nd of April! Today it´s again unboxing day over at The Wild Hare Kits today. I´m happy to be able to share my April kit with you all today :-). I was a bit afraid my kit would not arrive in time, as the shipping information did not update itself for at least two weeks, but then, suddenly on Monday, the postman pushed the parcel under our garden door (no personal contact allowed, you see).

This is my gorgeous, colorful, cheerful and happy kit. I wished for one like this. And it´s again spot on. I wished for a colourful, happy and cheerful kit for April. Little did I know when I ordered it, that we´d be sitting at home and distancing ourselves from everything. Now that it arrived, I am more than happy that I ordered this type of a kit.

Here are the videos, let´s start with English:

Here is the one in Finnish:

And last, but not least, the one in German:

I hope you enjoy the videos!! I cannot wait to start creating with this kit!! And there is also one more kit I received a few days back, my “long lost” March kit. For those videos, just hop over to THIS POST and watch :). I´m planning on creating a minibook with that kit some time in April too, so stay tuned :).

And now to my lovely fellow WHK crafters, here are some direct links to the unboxing videos by them – enjoy!

I wish you all a lovely April and hope that thru staying at home we can “starve” the virus out as early as possible. Stay home and stay healthy!

Lots of love,

Hello brother – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, today I have something special to share with you! KittyK8 and myself put up a little collaboration of our own for March as it turned out that her kit didn´t arrive to her, but instead is somewhere in Hungary at the moment (funny enough, next to Austria) and my kit went to Sydney (Australia, where Kate lives)!

So she contacted me to inform me about that and we figured, since both of us are still waiting for their March The Wild Hare Kits to arrive, we´d challenge each other with something else. So we pulled all our previous kits together and tried to put a DIY kit from our leftover WHK kits together that would be as similar as possible.

Here is mine:

I´ve got plenty of Pink Paislee Truly Grateful in this kit. Then some Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours, some Shimelle Sparkle City as well as Field Trip collection and Pink Paislee Again & Again papers as well as tiny bits of Flower Market by Carta Bella as well as Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely. The embellishments are by Brambe Fox, Pink Paislee, Pinkfresh Studio, Spiegelmom Scraps and Maggie Holmes. Also I used the monthly February cutfile for this kit.

And here is what I created:

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours „Inspiration“ paper as my layout base and added some Pink Paislee Truly Grateful and Shimelle´s Field Trip collection papers to the background. Then I went crazy with fussy cutting. I used plenty of the Pink Paislee Truly Grateful collection 2×2 inch papers and fussy cut words and images. I also added the monthly cutfile as well as some Bramble Fox acrylic embellishments to the layout. I had also picked the Pink Paislee Again & Again collection flower paper to my kit, but in the end decided not to use it at all. As I am scrapping a boy page, I intentionally used words and other images than flowers.

Creating my own kit from leftover kits was so much fun! You should definitely try out making one yourself. And then scrapping with it. I still have so much left from this kit – I could go on and make a few more projects with it.

And now I´m really excited to see what Kate created with her kit!!! She has more flowers going on in hers. I had the Pink Paislee Again & Again paper prepared for fussy cutting flowers, but in the end intentionally decided against it. I did a boy layout, so using flowers was not the first thing that came to my mind, so I stuck to words and other images than flowers. I´m excited to see, how much Kate was able to use on her page and how it turned out!

I hope we could inspire you to use up all the leftovers from your previous kits. It´s really lots of fun to create mini kits from leftover product and then challenge yourself to scrap with those. We´d love to see what you made, so be sure to tag us (@thewildharekits) while sharing on social media!!!

See you again tomorrow with my monthly wrap-up and then in April with the unboxing again!

Happy scrapping,

Where did the time go? – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits March project share. Even though my March kit is still on it´s world tour from the US over Sydney to me, I have still been scrapping! I´ve put all my previous kit leftovers together and am creating projects with those during March.

Here is one more layout made that way – this one is also my take on our monthly SCRAPLIFT team challenge:

This month we are scraplifting our new team member Antonia (you can find her at Instagram under @antsheartseggy) . This is the layout I picked from her feed:

I love her basic layout idea so much! And the fact how the title guides the eye towards the journaling on the very bottom corner of the page. I followed her sketch with my layout, but added plenty of bits and bobs under my photo. So there are lots of layers this time.

I´ve combined something from every previous kit to this layout. As you can see, the Wild Hare Kits go such a long way, because this is already my second layout created using all my kit leftover pieces. And there is still more to be shared.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video again for you to watch. Hope you like it!!!

Now´s your turn. Pick a layout created by Antonia and lift it! Then use @thewildharekits when sharing on social media, so we can come and take a look! Have fun!!

Happy scrapping,

Unboxing day! – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Friday!!! I am a day late due to delays with postal services and customs, BUT better late than never! Here comes my January 2020 The Wild Hare Kits Deluxe Kit. Are you ready for some unboxing goodness?

This month I filled my style profile with very little info. I just asked for colorful and bright colours and a SURPRISE kit. Sooo…you probably can imagine that I have been sitting on needles the whole time :-). Finally it´s here! So let´s start:

This is my January 2020 surprise Deluxe Kit with the Wild Hare Kits. And it is spot on!!! And now to the videos, as usual:

English:

German:

Finnish:

And another quick look at the kit:

I hope you enjoy watching the video(s) and if you got interested in ordering a kit, here is the link to follow. Just fill out your style profile and place order. You will not be disappointed!!

Ps. I´ll be doing the scraplift challenge this month as well a the TWHK OLW (One Little Word) challenge with the design team girls and also might give a go on the monthly sketch. And I might even do something Valentine´s Day related too. We´ll see where my inspiration takes me this time. Wishing you all a great start into January and

Happy crafting,

Oh Deer! layout – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello and happy Wednesday & Merry Christmas!!! Today the Wild Hare Kits design team girls again share their scraplift projects. This month, we are scraplifting the lovely Daniela.

Here is the layout I chose to lift:

And here is my take on it:

I used almost every single paper from my December Deluxe Kit on this page. I´ve got the Pink Paislee Together for Christmas, the Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland as well as the Crate Paper Snowflake collection papers punched on this page. And I love the result.

I used a Martha Stewart circle punch for punching all the tiny circles for the patterned papers. Then I adhered them in place in rows, slightly overlappingly. As my backgorund I used the Heidi Swapp Tis The Season paper with the polka dots instead of choosing a white paper. I figured it would better work with the winter theme :).

I also used the lovely December deer cut file on the page. Isn´t it adorable??!

For decoration (creating the clusters, like on Daniela´s page) I used the Crate Paper Snowflake collection stickers and ephemera. Some bits are adhered on place with glue, some with 3D foam.

These scraplifts are so much fun! I like them lots, because they give me the possibility to try out something new every time!

Now it´s time to wish you all a lovely Christmas time, lot´s of nice moments with your friends and loved ones and a few days of peace and quiet :)!

Happy scrapping,
