Belated STAMPlorations 7th Birthday party – day 5

Hello and happy Friday and welcome to the 5th day of STAMPlorations belated Birthday Celebration. Today we again have a ton of inspiration prepared for you showcasing the fabulous product STAMPlorations has to offer. Also, if you stop by the DT girls blogs and leave comments, create a project and link up our STAMP stash photo, you can win some awesome prizes!

For this card I chose a colour I don´t use that often: purple. I wanted to use this particular color for this type of theme, because I think it works well. The idea of this card is pretty similar to the one shared yesterday, but it still looks very different because of the color choices.

I used purple and light pink Distress Ink tones and matted the stenciled white cardstock piece on dark purple cardstock. I really, really adore this Flair stencil and the stamp used here is again a new one from the Bloomfully 4×4 stamp series at STAMPlorations.

Now hop over to the Day 5 post at STAMPlorations blog. There are plenty of prizes for grabs and a linky party going on. Also be sure to create a celebrations themed project and link it up! Lovelies, come and comment and link and play along!!! It´s a party week at STAMPlorations!!

All products in the store are 10% off instantly throughout October. PLUS if you use my design team discount code: STAMPGIRLSANNA upon checkout when ordering, you will get this not-yet-released stencil called „Just Plaid“ for free!!

I hope you have enjoyed the STAMPlorations birthday celebration throughout the week and gotten inspired to play with stamps and stencils. I´m keeping my thumbs up for you on the prizes :)!

It´s such a joy and honour to be able to be part of the STAMPlorations family. Let´s keep this small family business going strong by supporting them :). That way there can be many, many more birthday celebrations to come! Happy 7th STAMPlorations and Shery!!! Wishing you lots of company birthdays to come!

Happy crafting, everyone!

Belated STAMPlorations 7th Birthday party – day 4

Hello and happy Thursday and welcome to day 4 of STAMPlorations belated Birthday Celebration! Today we have again plenty of inspiration prepared for you, so I hope you visit the blogs, leave comments and join in on the fun! Remember, there are plenty of possibilities to win some awesome prizes too!

For today´s post I´ve prepared not one, but two inpirational projects. One is an art journal page and the other is a slimline card.

https://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2020/10/belated-birthday-4.html

My first project is this colorful rainbow toned slimline card featuring the new Fanned Slimline Stencil. I love this one so much! What I did for this card is a used a yellow cardstock as my card base and mounted the white cardstock piece (which I had inked with Distress Inks thru the Fanned stencil first) on top. For a focal point I chose to ink a piece of white cardstock in orange tones and add faux stitching around the edges and a stamped sentiment from the new Bloomfully Series clear stamp.

For my second project I did an art journal page onto a piece of canvas in my black Ranger art journal. I used plenty of my new stencils here: on the background as a negative image and on the circles I used the „positive“ image.

I love the crazy look of this page! Works really well together with the accompanying right page too. This you will probably recognize from the Stencil Challenge Reveal post ;-).

Now hop over to the Day 4 post at STAMPlorations blog. There are plenty of prizes for grabs and a linky party going on. Also be sure to create a celebrations themed project and link it up! Lovelies, come and comment and link and play along!!! It´s a party week at STAMPlorations!!

Also notice that all products in the store are 10% off instantly throughout October. PLUS if you use my design team discount code: STAMPGIRLSANNA upon checkout when ordering, you will get this not-yet-released stencil called „Just Plaid“ for free!!

We have one more fun day ahead of us, so be sure to check out my blog also tomorrow for yet another STAMPlorations birthday celebration post!! See you then!

Happy birthday card – STAMPlorations

Hello and happy Sunday! Here is a little heads up for next week! Be sure to come and visit my blog on daily basis next week, because we are celebrating the amazing STAMPlorations 7th birthday. Make sure you are part of this belated party :)!

And to get you ready for tomorrow, I´m sharing a bonus card already today. Just to advertise next week a bit already and share a happy birthday card with you. Also, while you are here, do check out the STAMPlorations blog for MORE!

I know Shery often uses these colours on her one layer cards, so I´m sending my birthday wished to her with this card :).

For this card I used the Flair and Leaf Prints 4 slimline stencils and a clear stamp set „Bloomfully Forever“ from the STAMPlorations store. The colours I used a Distress Inks and Hero Arts black stamp ink.The flowers and the sequin are from my older stash. Yay, again stash busting here :). I really, really need to do that and cards are such a good way to combine old with new product.

So be ready for tomorrow, when we start with the celebration week! See you then! Have a great Sunday!

A set of DWM tags

Hello and happy Friday! Today I´m stopping by with another tag share. These, again are created with plenty of Dina Wakley Media product. I am so enjoying this at the moment!

These are again done using plenty of gloss sprays, but also Dina´s heavy body paints as well as her collage collective book, her washi and tissue paper. The stencils on the right tag are all by The Crafter´s Workshop and the little words are handmade by my friend Lizzy. I adore them!

This background is pressed on splots of gloss sprays. Repeatedly. After the spray was dry, I attached the tissue paper image with gel medium and colored the face with Distress Crayons by Tim Holtz. The word is by my friend Lizzy and the red circle is from Dina´s collage collective book.

For this tag I was simply dabbing residue paint thru a stencil. Both paints by Dina. Then I sprayed the gorgeous lemon gloss spray on top. Let that layer dry and added the fussy cut circles from Dina´s collage collective book. Then some washi, the handmade word and some journaling.

I really like how these tags turned out. I might keep them as they are and even frame them OR I´ll add them to a journal page later. Time will tell.

I´m hoping the next weeks will be better, weather wise, because I am on vacation. Ha! So funny, doing a vacation without going anywhere special. Well, strange times require unusual measures. So no vacay.. I didn´t have one last summer due to my first knee surgery and now the second knee and covid19. I sure hope next year will be better (fingers crossed). I so, so, so miss the sand and the sea. What about you? Any plans?

Wishing you a nice day and weekend!!

Beauty „tag“

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I´m again sharing another „tag“ from my play time with Dina Wakley´s gloss sprays.

For this one I´ve used all kinds of residue pieces I had left over from previous play. The background has a layer of residue paint on it, on top of that there is a layer of Lindy´s spray ink.

Then, on top of that is a piece of Dylusions Creative Journal packaging paper that I applied some night gloss spray onto. There is also some magenta (does not show in the picture, sorry) gloss spray pressed onto the paper from a stencil. That was residue that I just could not wipe away.

Beneath the Dylusions paper there is stamping made with grey StazOn (stamp by Tim Holtz – Tiny Text). And on top of that paper, there is a cluster of Collage collective paper strips and a piece of used, dry, color covered baby wipe. All attached together with a tiny attacher. Then a hand written (thanks Lizzy!) sentiment and a few buttons.

I´m loving these „tags“! Creating them is almost meditative for me and I don´t think much when making them. Just putting stuff on paper :). So much fun!

Happy crafting,
