6th Giving Thanks hop & Giveaway – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone and happy Friday!!! It´s time for another amazing STAMPlorations blog hop: the 6th Giving Thanks hop + giveaway!!!

And here is what I did for this hop:

It´s a set of three thank you-cards. And as I am so very grateful to be in this amazing team with the most lovely design team colleagues, I also want to give you something, so I´ve prepared two short videos for you to watch. Hope to inspire you a bit with them. Here are the first two cards and the video for these:

Here are a few additional projects, I created for your inspiration:

I´ve used the same techniques like on my first and second card (read more about that on the particular day´s posts).

Spring Fling Blog Hop & Linky Party – STAMPlorations

Hello everyone, it´s time for another day of STAMPlorations blog hop & linky party!! Are you ready for some SPRING FLING fun???

Here is my card project as today´s inspiration:

For this card I used the Leaf Prints 3 stencil in combination with the All Blooms stencil. Both available at the STAMPlorations online store. I also added a STAMPlorations clear sticker to the card (from the April Showers set), but only used the word “spring” on the card, instead of the whole sentiment.

This card is really easy to make. Just place the stencil onto a white card base, apply Distress Inks in green, yellow, orange and pink tones onto the white paper and blackground thru the stencils with a blending brush. Then die cut the flower stencil image with a die cut die, add the flower, clear sticker and the rhinestones. Adhere onto the card base and voilá, the card is done! Very simple, fast and foremost SO MUCH FUN!

And now to my project for the hop. Here is my spring themed project, created with STAMPlorations Spring Fling section product, to inspire you today:

I am an absolute tulip lover. They are my very favorite flowers!! There are many more, but tulips just have something that make me smile every single time. And this tulip themed stencil by Shery is just gorgeous!!! I love it. So I had to use it for todays blog post. And this one is also so easy to make. It´s basically just one layer (except for the clear sticker and rhinestones). I placed the stencil directly onto a white card base and took my blending brushes out with Distress Inks. Then I applied the ink with the brush thru the stencil onto the card base using pink, red and green tones. Voilá!

For the sentiment I cut the April showers clear sticker set sticker in pieces and added one part of the sentiment onto the front of the card and the second part inside the card. For additional sparkle I added a few rhinestones. That´s it! Fast, simple, easy & FUN!

Love, love, love this stencil so much!

Special Christmas CUTplorations Blog Hop – STAMPlorations

Are you ready, it´s time for another fun blog hop with the STAMPlorations girls!! We’ve got a 2-day blog hop for those of you who love Christmas and CUTplorations thin metal dies.

On Monday and Tuesday, 11 STAMPlorations girls will be sharing Christmas projects they made using the Christmas CUTplorations thin metal dies that we released last month.  Here we go – let me start sharing what I made:

For this card I first matted the white card base with a pink paper, then die cut the Doodled Cover Plate die pattern from black cardstock to create a strong contrast. Then I die cut the cover plate piece again from green cardstock and filled only parts of the pattern “in” with the green color. After that I finished the card off with a pearl toned die cut sentiment using the “Oh Holy Night” die and added some half pearls for decor.

The second card I created in the same manner like the pervious one, but instead of using pink, I chose to use golden glitter cardstock as a base to have some gorgeous shine. Next I die cut the cover plate pattern two times, once with green and once with dark blue carstock and filled some areas with the blue pieces. It is a little time consuming, but so worth it!! And I again finished the card off with the pearl toned die cut sentiment and some half pearls.

For my last card I chose to use only the sentiment die cut die. I first stamped with Christmas Flower stamp image with embossing ink onto a card base, then applied some light gold toned embossing powder and heat set that. Next I inked the whole background with Salty Ocean Distress Ink (I love this color!) and added some water droplets here and there for a more interesting look. then I only needed to add a beautiful golden glitter sentiment – again die cut from the golden glitter cardstock by Tonic Studios. Finally, I decorated the center of the flower with various sized half pearls. They were originally silver toned, so I added some yellow Copic Marker on top of them and they magically turned golden :). I love this card for it´s simplicity.

So these were my project for the hop – there might be some more cards showing up on my blog in the next weeks, created with these dies, so feel free to come back for more later this week and next weeks ;-).
