Happy Birthday!, Vol 2.0

Hello and happy Monday! Here is another card, created using some old bits, combined with newer product :). I love the Studio Tekturek papers so much and they work so well together with my older Sassafras stickers! Eek! Two faves together :)!

On the background I have some stamping going on done with black ink. There are again from Stampin´Up!.

And I again managed to sneak in a button from my huge button collection. Gosh, I have so many… And those glass beads, I think I have like a thousand of those too. But they look really pretty on that blue patterned paper.

This is really close to the card style I used to do back in 2009ish. And it´s fun to do cards in that particular style again.

Have a great week! xxx, Sanna

Layout with The Wild Hare Kits kit

Hi there lovelies and happy Friday!! Last month I had the honour of doing a guest design team gig over at the Wild Hare Kit kit club and I loved it! I noticed that I´ve really missed scrapbooking alot! And now I just cannot stop scrapping..

So, therefore even if my GDT month is gone, I´ve still got some papers left from my Deluxe Kit and I am using them all up. So be prepared for a few more layouts to come. And besides, we took like 4000 Fotos on our vacation to Brazil last summer, so there is plenty to scrap about still.

Here is my latest layout:

I did a bit of fussy cutting and also punched circles and butterflies for the page and alighned all the bits and bobs along the patterned paper edges. But before I adhered everything on place, I gave the background a Glimmer Mist treatment with Gold And Aquamarine tones. I also sneaked some stamp images onto the background (stamp by VivaLasVegaStamps). Very light and subtle stamping.

To get the journaling stand out a bit better from the leafy background paper, I applied some gesso with a paint brush to the area I wanted to have my journaling on. That way it´s more readable. That´s it for today. Since I´ve been scrapping so much, my white cardstock stack has reduced dramatically 🙂 … time to order some more, I think! It feels so good to be back at scrapping again. I also noticed that I´m adding much more journaling to the pages at the moment, feeling the need to put the words down on paper. Recording and documenting those memories!

See you soon with another layout maybe!

Birthday invitation card

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!!! I am so much looking for the weekend and time for crarting and gardening. The tulips are just about to bloom :). I just love this season!!!

Sadly, I don´t have any new tulip photos to share quite yet, so instead I´ll share a custom birthday invitation card I created with you today:

For this card I used only white cardstock which I stamped in various colours using different  stamps from Stampin´ Up! The die cut piece in the middle is cut with a Tonic Studios die cut die. This is a very clean and simple card in style without any mixed media on it. I make CAS cards very seldom, but this turned out very much to my liking.

Wishing you all a lovely, crafty weekend,
xxx, Sanna
