Hello lovelies and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing my first November Deluxe Kit project for the Wild Hare Kits. I´ve based my layout on the November sketch. Here it is:
This sketch is so great – I loved it the second I saw it. I used the Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice Harmony paper on my layout and added some stenciling, created with the Heidi Swapp stencils that came with my kit. Also I decorated the photos with 1canoe2 Willow collection Die Cut Shapes which were also part of my kit. And for finishing touches I added plenty of Spiegelmom Scraps The Wild Hare Kits exclusive sequins.
The stamping on my layout is created with the Carta Bella stamp set from my August kit. For the stenciling I´ve used Distress Oxides and Distress Inks to create the two-toned look.
And this month I again have more time which means I can record videos to go with my layouts again. So here is the process video of the layout, hope you like it:

Hello lovelies and happy Sunday! Today I´m sharing yet another scrapbook layout with you. This one is again created with The Wild Hare Kits October Petite Kit and as my inspiration for this particular page I used the October Sketch. Here it is:
And now to my take on it:
I mainly used the Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours collection to create this page. I immediately knew I wanted to use the „Hard Work“ paper for this page when I saw the sketch. So instead of using hexagons I used circles which I simply fussy cut from the paper. There were plenty to choose from, so I picked the ones I found most suitable. The ones with clocks kinda fit the working day/life theme quite well.
I first fussy cut and arranged all pieces onto a piece of white cardstock (that is from my own stash, not from the kit). Then I added stamping (for interest) with a roller stamps – again from my stash – and layered various embellishments from the Office Hours Mixed Embellishment Pack on top of the fussy cut paper circles.
Next I took some blue Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (from my stash) and mixed some of it with water. That creates a liquid you can create „ink“ droplets with. I added a few here and there, following the sketch, for detail.
I added some faux stitching around the circle elements with a black pen for additional interest.
Also there are some Office Hours Chipboard Stickers on the page here and there too for texture and interest. I used pens and office supply things, because, obviously it´s a work-themed layout.
I kept to a very clean and simple look without adding too much stamping and media as I wanted to hightlight the corgeous papers and embellishments. I also didn´t do a subtitle under the layout title, but instead added some journaling to the page.
If you like this month´s sketch, do give a try on it! We´d love to see what you make, so be sure to tag us (#wildharekits), so we can come and take a look on your take!!! Wishing you a great time with the Wild Hare Kits and their sketch!
Hello everyone and happy Friday!! It´s again time for the monthly The Wild Hare Kits Scraplift share. The team members pick one member to scraplift every month and this month we are scraplifting the lovely Kate. Here is the layout I chose to scraplift (she does lots of happy mail and not so many layouts recently, but I managed to find one to scraplift :)!).
The above layout is her´s and now to my take on it:
Wreaths have been really popular recently in scrapbooking layouts. So I did one too, based on Kate´s layout. I loved to fussy cut the Truly Grateful No. 11 paper with the „Cuckoo Clocks“ on it and arrange them onto the paper to mimic a wreath.
I started by fussy cutting lots of cuckoo clocks, then took the 2×2 inch papers from the Truly Grateful collection and fussy cut some of the Phrase Swatch Book papers too. Next I added orange and green spray ink splatters onto the background. After that I took a German sentiment stamp set (Klartext) and stamped sentiments like „your rock and you are super cool“ onto the page.
Then I adhered all the fussy cut elements onto the page either with liquid paper glue or 3D foam pads (adds nice dimension). I also fussy cut and folded some tiny leaves from the cuckoo clock paper residue parts and added faux stitching onto them with a white gel pen. Then all I needed to do was to add the photo (I matted the photo with 3 pieces of swatchbook papers from the Truly Grateful collection).
I adhered the title on the Office Hours embellishment packaging paper to make it stand out better. The alphas were from my own stash as I didn´t have any in my kit. I also added a few tiny fussy cut butterflies here and there, also from the Cuckoo Clock paper. And there is one flair on the page too. It´s also from my older stash, but I found it matched the layout theme perfectly.
I had a really great time scraplifting Kate´s layout!!! It was fun to do something I don´t do that often! I love the wreath, loved all the fussy cutting, arranging and layering. And that Cockoo Clock paper is one of my big faves from this kit! LOVE IT!!!
If you want to see what the other design team girls scraplifted, then hop over to the Wild Hare Kits blog to take a look! You will not be disappointed!!!! I love these scraplift challenges – if you would like to join us, we´d love to see your takes on Kate´s work. Just remember to tag us (#thewildharekits), so we find you and can come and leave some love on your work!
See you again on the 27th with yet another The Wild Hare Kits project – cannot wait to share!!!
Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I´m sharing my very first The Wild Hare KitsOctober Petite Kit project with you. This is a bold and colorful and textured layout share. Are you ready for colour?
For this layout I did the following steps:
I took the „I am Mom“ Echo Park Paper and created a background for my layout with it and the Truly Grateful pattern squares by Pink Paislee from the Paige Evans collection.
First I arranged all the little squares on place and then adhered them with liquid paper glue (it´s my go-to adhesive, but if you prefer another type, that would totally work here too).
After that I added some faux stitching around the squares with a black pen to make it look like a quilt pattern (at least it reminds me of one).
Then I removed all the „Office Hours“ Chipboard pieces from the base they were attached to and used the empty base as a layer to gather my centerpiece on.
I then added lots of chipboard elements and dimensional stickers (also Office Hours) from that particular sheet around the photo into a cluster.
For finishing touches I fussy cut a journaling tag from the Office Hours „Busy“ paper, wrote the journaling and then decorated the page to my liking.
This photo was taken on a crafty event in Finnland called „Craftaamo“ fall 2018 (I held a few classes there and had a really great time). Good memories to document, so I kept to happy, bold colours and designs as well as added all kinds of office supplies as decor as I found that they worked really well together with a craft event theme!
Everything else – except for the black pen, the stamp that I have used, the alpha stickers and the enamel embellishments – is from the October kit, just in case you were wondering. This petite kit goes a LONG way on it´s own :). Do check out The Wild Hare Kits website and fill out a style profile, then you can also be a happy owner of a great, hand-curated, personalized paper crafting kit!!
See you on 22nd again with another project (psst…it´s a minibook!)
Hello everyone, today I´m sharing my 4th layout, created with the September The Wild Hare Kits Petite Kit. I so adore this months kit. I love the colours and how everything in the kit works so well together!!!
For today´s project I´ve created a 12×12 layout using the second Just A Little Lovely collection paper by Pink Fresh Studio that was in my kit. I LOVE the b-sides of the papers in my kit!!! This collection has everything I love in it!!
one I´ve used following steps:
Using the Garden Geometric Stencil by Carta Bella I´ve applied Distress Ink in yellow and blue tones onto the patterned paper with a blending brush thru the stencil.
Next I added some spray ink splatters in green, pink and blue tones next to the stenciled areas.
I then arranged the 3 black and white photos of my boy onto the page and matted one of the Sparkle City papers by Shimelle onto the cutfile. I love this cutfile, by the way! It´s perfect for so many different types of layouts, not just only for school theme!!!
After matting the cut file I added some Sparkle City stickers onto it to create a look of book names on the book spines.
Next I started arranging paper strips (Sparkle City papers from my kit) onto the background under and next tot he cutfile.
I fussy cut a tag and a few journaling „speech bubbles“ and added them to the layout.
Before adhering all the paper pieces onto the page I added some stamped sentiments for additional interest to the layout.
Finally I added a glitter alpha sticker title to the page and a few black ink splatters here and there.
