Sweet memory – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies, I´m up with a layout for Pipilonias kreative Welt today! Plus One is one of my favorites from the new lines out there in the market this year. I just adore the designs, patterns and colours!! And they are just perfect for boy pages :).

Since my boy loves the colour green, I´ve used lots of it on this layout. I´ve also used some Webster´s Pages paper squares to go with the paper line. I find that these two go together really well. I just outlined the squares with a pen to make them stand out more.

I also added some washi tape (got plenty of that ..LOL), some sequins and colour splatters (of course) as additional details to the page. We all have our fave products, don´t we? These are some of mine. I also adore these foam alphas. They can be spotted everywhere right now, but I still wanted to have some of my own, too.

Have a lovely day and have fun scrapping!
xoxo, Sanna

Travel journal, London – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies!! Today I´m sharing a travel journal which I created for our London city trip.

I used 3 sheets of cardstock (vanilla) and 3 pages of patterned paper for this album. I dry embossed the cardstock pieces with a „Plus One“ dry embossing folder and then wiped some Distress Ink over them. I naturally had to add some color splatters too 🙂 – this time I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine for creating splatters :). The book is 14,5 x 11,5 cm in size.

I used my Cinch for binding it all together.

I decorated all the pages beforehand and added some stamped elements here and there too. Then I also added some fussy cut images from the ueber lovely Las Mas Bonita-paper  (gorgeous, aren´t they????) as additional decorational elements.

I even used some older product on this album too. I´ve had some of the stickers for quite a while – good to find a nice spot for those too. Minibooks are perfect for destashing :).

The cover and the back is decorated with some twine and sequins.

I took this mini with me to London, but of course did not find any time to fill it. I mean, the meaning of a travel journal is to fill it as you travel, not afterwards. Now I really need to fill it soon, otherwise I will forget some details.. How about you? are you done with your albums from this summer season? ..if so, make sure you fill them right away, don´t do it the way I did :).

Happy summer, lovelies!

Time flies

Hello there! Since the last CHA I have been dreaming of these papers and when they came up at Pipilonia´s shop, I immediately placed them into my shopping cart. You are always wiser afterwords, aren´t you…I should have ordered each and every page double, since they are lovely both on the front and the reverse side. Oh well, too late for that now.

This is my first page I made using the lovely „Plus One“ collection by Amy Tangerine.

As you can see that is a photo of me..might I add it was taken after a long working day, so I look a bit drained :). But it is all about the clocks of time ticking away…. I had been scrapping with friends the other day and came across several photos of me from during the past 8 years. Boy…time sure does take it´s toll. You just don´t notice it that much on your everyday life yet, but then you come across photos (or take a quick look in the mirrow) and then it hits you. At some point time just starts to go by faster. I have no idea why, but it just feels like that. Kids get bigger and bigger and then you notice you are actually not that young anymore ;-)… Now, don´t get me wrong, I am not feeling old yet or anything, I am just saying I can see a difference and things are deffinitely changing.. :).

Since I have used a selfie AND at least 3 trendy things on my layout, I am submitting this one to the current challenge over at the „Challenge YOURself“ blog (= Challenge #5: something trendy). My trendy items are: badge, vellum, gold, brush script paper, wood veneer and enamel dots. I am a big fan of Challenge YOURself challenge site!!

Wish you a lovely day,
xoxo, Sanna
