Halloween layout – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello there, lovelies!!! Today I´d like to share with you a halloween layout :-). I wanted to enhance the scary photos with the colours and embellishments I chose. This is what I have used:

I first misted the background with 3 different ink spray colours (green, silver and grey). I then added some „oil slick“ splatters here and there and added some stamping as well as faux stitching. The little squares are 3D foam pads which I have treated with Distress Glitter. Other than that I have used plenty of halloween themed stickers, a few flair badges and some chipboard stars. The stars I colored with a Wink of Stella silver brush pen. The black alphas were made using a The Crafter´s Workshop stencil (Kasia´s letters).

So this is a pretty sinister page, but it kinda fits the Halloween theme, I think :).

Happy scrapping,
xoxo, Sanna

Christmas cards – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies! I am in the middle of the Christmas card production and here are two sets that were quite fast to do:

The first set of cards was really fast and easy to make. I just cut a journaling card or aDie-Cut and glued it with 3D-glue pads onto the backgroundpaper. After that I just added some glitter glue around the edges.

For the second 6 cards I just cut the Teresa-Collins-paper into right sized pieces and then used the matching Die-Cut pieces from the same collection for decorating. In addition some glitter glue, Fun Flock and Distress Glitter for detail. The circles, snowflakes, stars and hearts are from the Adhesive Value Kit by 3L. I covered them with either some flocking or Distress Glitter.

As you can see, my Xmas card workshop is coming along 🙂 :).

Happy crafting, Sanna

Fast and easy Christmas cards – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello lovelies! A while ago I spotted some really lovely Christmas papers and they were on sale! I just had to get some :). These lovely vintage images practically jumped on me and I immediately knew that I wanted to create some Xmas cards with them.

I needed quite a few cards for a charity purpose, so I needed to make some extra cards this year. I have been invited to join an event, where the Finnish red cross collects handmade cards for people who are alone or in need. We are supposed to create the cards and write a nice sentiment on the cards, sign them and send them to the red cross department that collects them. They then put them into envelopes and give them to the people. The best thing is they take the time to check the cards and select a suitable one for each person, so that everyone receiving a card will get one that they will truly enjoy receiving.

I found the idea really great, so I gladly joined this happening. I hope my cards will bring a smile on someones face and give them some joy to their Christmas time.

For creating these cards I just used two sheets of patterned paper (one of those is from the sale here). Then I just added some glitter glue, a sentiment and a ribbon. Even though these cards are pretty simple in desing, I really like them alot. So how are you doing with your Xmas cards – have you already started creating them??

Stamped cards – Pipilonias kreative Welt

Hello there! As you might have noticed by now, I have a thing for stamps..lol..! I love to create backgrounds for cards and layouts using stamps. For these cards I used the Avery Elle stamp set and nothing else.

This is the stamp set I am talking about:

 http://www.pipilonia.at/Avery-Elle

and this is how the cards look like:

I used Hero Arts Shadow Inks for stamping and created a „faux woodgrain“ pattern onto the card background using the longest stamp of the set. After that I stamped a background on a separate piece of paper with the smaller brush stamps. The sentiment I then stamped using the Hero Arts Chalkboard stamp ink. Some „faux stitching“ here and there and both cards were finished in a flash.  Hope you get inspired and have fun with some stamping!!!
