Hello lovelies!! It is that time of the year again and our zucchini´s, tomatoes and figs are getting ripe. Here is proof – 11 kilos of home grown zucchini :).
It was a great feeling collecting these and canning them. Now we have plenty stored in for winter :).
Naturally I had to scrap about that too – this layout is made for the Paperilla magazine :). Above are the materials I used for this page. Other than the green patterned paper (My Mind´s Eye), everything is from a Studio Calico monthly kit add-on.
Here is a detail photo too and I´ve also made a video for you to watch.
Hope you like it!!! Just in case the video will now show, here is the direct link too :)…
Hello lovelies, it is my turn today to share a project at the Paperilla blog. This time I tuned an empty metal coffee tin into a pink flower dream :). I´ve also prepared a video for you. Hope you enjoy!!!
..and here are some detail photos:
You could fill the tin with candy or cookies or something else lovely and take it with you as a little present for a family member or a friend.
Today is my turn to share something inspirational on the Paperilla magazine´s blog so I would like to share with you a bunch of blogs from some very talented Australian scrappers. These are all private scrappy blogs this time. There are plenty of other sites that would be worth mentioning, but that will have to wait for next time :). Here are the blogs, divided in three categories – I hope you find them as inspiring as I do 🙂 :
I´ve had the pleasure of working together with some of these ladies in various design teams and some of the ladies I just admire from a far :D. Please note that is is by far not a complete list of blogs that would be worth mentioning, if I´d mention all of them, you´d be in for a neverending post 🙂 :)….! I hope you get inspired by these ladies!!
Hello lovelies!! Just wanted to shortly share another little project that was published in the Paperilla magazine´s issue 1/2014. Paperilla is a Finnish scrapbooking print magazine and you can buy the latest issues here 😉 …
This was a little table decoration idea made out of mainly recycled materials. The twigs are from our cherry tree and the flowers are created with a punch from a leftover piece of patterned paper. The glasses came with a dessert pudding and since they were oven proof I saved them :). Just perfect for this purpose!
I used a glue gun to stick the twigs down and then added some Whisker Graphics Twine around the glass to make sure the twigs stay put. After that I just punched a few flowers, rolled and layered them over each other to create these dimensional flowers. Fast and easy! You could even change the decoration depending for what season you plan to make such candle holders for.
Hi there! Today I´d like to share with you a set of cards I created for the Finnish scrapbooking magazines issue 1/2014. The magazine is called Paperilla. There is also a step-by-step tutorial on these cards in that issue, so if you are interested, you can still buy the magazine from here *wink*. 🙂
