Most wonderful time

Hello and happy Sunday! How are your holidays going? I hope you had a lovely Christmas and got to spend some time with your (closest) family members. At least that was the situation here in Austria. Some did a test to be able to meet grandparents and some just continued with distancing like on any other day.

Here is one more card I forgot to share with you. It´s also a Christmas card. Done using one of my new stencils, called Winter Flowers. I´ve first inked the background light green, then added red Distress Ink thru the stencil onto the background and mounted it on a piece of darker green cardstock.

For decor, there are just small dots of Nuvo Glitter Drops. And a STAMPlorations clear sticker, mounted on a green cardstock piece as a centerpiece. Simple and easy.

I´ve started totally motivated after Christmas and I´m trying to do good things to me. Starting health wise. So more excersize will be on the menü this year. I want to feel better and fitter again. So far so good 🙂 it´s been two days, so it´s still been easy. But I need to keep to it from now on, like forever to achieve a permanent change :). Keep your thumbs up for me, will you?

Happy Sunday!

Your day card – Tonic Studios

Helo lovelies, today I´m sharing yet another card, created using mainly Tonic Studios product in combination with Distress Inks. For this card I blended the background in various orange ink tones and added a die cut heart into the middle as my centerpiece.

This heart die is one of the Tonic Studios German sentiment dies. I die cut it from white cardstock and adhered it onto the inked background with the Nuvo Glue Pen. It workds really well on die cut elements. Also, you coud use double sided adhesive sheets for adhering. Those will guarantee really easy to adhere and clean results.

For decoration I added some Nvuo Glitter Accents dots here and there.

So all in all this is a very clean and simple card and really easy to make. The sentiment in the middle says: “Today is your day”.

That´s all from me for today. See you soon again with more projects! Hope you will drop by my blog and take a look.

Happy crafting,

Thank you card – Tonic Studios

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!!! Today I´d like to share another clean and simple card with you. This time I´ve again used Tonic Studios die cut dies – the German sentiment selection of them – on my card with Distress Inks.

I first inked the background of my card base with yellow, green and blue toned Distress Inks to create interest. Then I took the Tonic Studios Thank You Blossom die cut set and die cut some hybrid papers from my stash. The paper has a woodgrain type of pattern on it´s own and created a really nice look to the heart shapes thru that.

I adhered all pieces on place using the Nuvo Glue Pen. It works really well with delicate die cut pieces. For decoration, I added some faux stitching with a black pen around the edges and also took Atlantic Drift Glitter Accents and applied those as centers to the flower patterns. That´s it, a simple and easy to do card.

So what have you been upto recently, craft wise? Wish you a great, crafty weekend, lovelies!!!

Clean and simple cards

Hello and happy Wednesday! Can you believe it´s already February? I am so much looking forward to sunshine again. Don´t get me wrong, I do like snow, but where I live we don´t get that much during wintertime and mostly it´s just dull and grey and clowdy here, so I get really excited, when the blue sky and the sun come out for a change!

Today I´ve prepared a set of clean and simple cards. See, I was going thru my stash the other day and found some quite old papers (dry embossed, the ones you can sand, remember those?) and thought I might just as well use them for cards. Here is what I ended up with:

So I basically just adhered the papers onto the card bases after sanding the surface with a sanding block a little. Then I added stamping – still like those Tim Holtz Hashtag stamps alot! And for decoration I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops here and there. Et voilá, the cards were done!

That´s it for today, hope your week is a pleasant one!

Noel tag – Tonic Studios

Helllo and happy Friday! Christmas eve is just around the corner and today I am sharing my last Christmas themed tag for this year with you:

For this tag I again used the Magnificent Magnolia stamp set to create the background for my tag. I simply took the leaf pattern stamp from the set and repeatedly stamped the image with embossing ink onto the background. Next I poured some golden embossing powder over the stamped areas and heat set the powder with a heat gun.

After that I inked the white tag with Bundled Sage Distress ink and added a frame sticker as a focal point. I decorated the frame with Harvest Moon Glitter Accents and adhere the bird sticker into the middle using a 3D foam underneath it. This way it is more dimensional. I then added Nuvo Glaze drops onto the wings and poured some Ice White Pure Sheen Nuvo Glitter onto the glazed areas. I let that dry properly and then wiped any loose glitter off and added some Harvest Moon glitter details there too. For finishing touches I added a word Noel, created with stickers from Basic Grey and bound a matching ribbon to the tag. I really like the combination of the stamped image with the bundled sage colour on the background. It makes it very elegant and festive looking.

That´s iit for this years Christmas themed tags. In January I´ll start sharing tags again, but this time with another theme :).

Happy crafting and happy holidays,
