Hello and happy Friday lovelies!!! Today´s post is again about Christmas cards. No surprise there, right? Well, I make plenty every year, so I will share those mostly during December every year, so hope you can still handle a few more Christmas card related posts. Not long now anyways, as Christmas is soon here.
These cards are again done using the absolutely adorable Christmas paper collection by Mintay Papers. It´s a collection from last year, but I have still papers left, so I´m using them all up. And I love how they look! So, so, so pretty!!
I´ve added some brown Distress Ink around the edges to the card on the left. It creates such a nice vintage look to the papers! on the right card, there is some Nuvo Key Lime clear drops on the lights. It adds a nice dimension. Other than that, the sentiment is stamped with Elizabeth Craft Designs Winter Sentiments. Some Nuvo glitter drops here and there and that is basically it.
I hope you like today´s card share and I hope to have inspired you today. Happy crafting, xxx, Sanna
Hello lovelies and Happy Thursday! Today I am dropping by to share a 8,5 x 5,5 inch sized congratulations card with you.
For this card I used a white A4 sized cardstock as my starting point to create the card base. Next I took some watercolor paper and misted it with pink spray ink.
After that I placed and ran the Beautiful Bunch Edge die (only using the inner die piece!) thru my die cutting machine. I cut the same image 4 times to create the background pattern. After that I took the “Glückwunsch” Tonic German Sentiment die and cut the word in the same manner into the middle of the card. Now I have a lovely pattern on the pink paper and when placed onto a white background, the pattern shows thru really nicely.
For finishing touches I took some Wycinanka chipboards and painted the green with Distress Ink and a Nuvo Water Tank Brush. I then clustered the chipboard leaves and some older Prima flowers from my stash into the upper and lower edge around the die cut word area to give the card a bit more dimension. For decoration I also added some Nuvo Vintage and Crystal Drops (red and light blue) around the flower clusters and outlined the card with faux stitching using a black pen.
I really like how this card turned out and love playing with the new Tonic Edge Dies!
Wishing you a great day and happy crafting,
Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! Today it´s again time to share this months Tagplorations challenge theme with you guys. This month the challenge is all about SPRING & BIRDS. Here is the challenge image:
And this is my take for the March Tagplorations reveal:
I die cut the Stitched Nesting Tag from a green toned polka dot paper. Then I stamped some Trendy Birds 2 images onto white cardstock with black stamp ink and colored them with golden Glimmer Mist to match the general color scheme.
Then I stamped the Heartfelt Hibiscus flower image onto white cardstock with embossing ink and applied white embossing powder on top. I heat set the powder with a heat tool. Next I colored the image with a water tank brush (Nuvo) and Distress Oxides. I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops here and there for decoration. Then I fussy cut the image.
On the background there are tiny pink drops here an there. I filled some of the white polka dots with pink Nuvo Crystal Drops to create more sprackle. The “Spring” sentiment is a rub-ons that I attached on white cardstock, then colored it with Glimmer Mist Gold tone and fussy cut it afterwords. Now it´s your turn to play along! Be sure to check out the TAGplorations challenge for more inspirational projects and then join us with your project! Same rules apply, as always – you will find them here. Looking forward to seeing your makes!!

Hi there! Today I am sharing a set of Artist Tranding Cards (incl. a video) here on my blog. I´ve used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and Mixed Media Origins papers to create these pieces.
The backgrounds I started with, were already done. They are back from last year when I did this video series for Tattered Angels, testing various materials with Glimmer Mists and how they react with/stick to & color those materials (if you are interested on seeing more, go here).
Here is the finished ATC set. For more details (& lots more photos) on how I created these artist trading cards, see this blog postover at the Canvas Corp Brands blog!
I also prepared a process video for you to watch – hope you like it! Go HEREto see the video!
Hi there lovelies and happy Friday!! Last month I had the honour of doing a guest design team gig over at the Wild Hare Kit kit club and I loved it! I noticed that I´ve really missed scrapbooking alot! And now I just cannot stop scrapping..
So, therefore even if my GDT month is gone, I´ve still got some papers left from my Deluxe Kit and I am using them all up. So be prepared for a few more layouts to come. And besides, we took like 4000 Fotos on our vacation to Brazil last summer, so there is plenty to scrap about still.
Here is my latest layout:
I did a bit of fussy cutting and also punched circles and butterflies for the page and alighned all the bits and bobs along the patterned paper edges. But before I adhered everything on place, I gave the background a Glimmer Mist treatment with Gold And Aquamarine tones. I also sneaked some stamp images onto the background (stamp by VivaLasVegaStamps). Very light and subtle stamping.
To get the journaling stand out a bit better from the leafy background paper, I applied some gesso with a paint brush to the area I wanted to have my journaling on. That way it´s more readable. That´s it for today. Since I´ve been scrapping so much, my white cardstock stack has reduced dramatically 🙂 … time to order some more, I think! It feels so good to be back at scrapping again. I also noticed that I´m adding much more journaling to the pages at the moment, feeling the need to put the words down on paper. Recording and documenting those memories!
See you soon with another layout maybe!
