Baby card for twins

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today I´m stopping by to share a twin baby card with you. The person receiving this card does not like pink nor blue (no traditional baby colours), so I went with neutrals this time.

I used plenty of older papers from my stash and added some cute stamped and fussy cut elephants (stamp by Starving Artistamps) to the card. The white dots are done with Nuvo Drops – love the basic white colour so much! Might need to go and buy another bottle of that goodness!

This card is bigger in size (A5) and has very basic elements on it. I wanted to keep the card simple and clean in design and figured that the polka dot papers add the necessary cuteness factor to a baby themed card.

I hope you had a lovely Mother´s Day. Wishing you a great start into a new week. I have been back to work for a week now and it´s still very strange and I find it hard to adjust to the new normal. I noticed that grocery shopping and shopping in general is not much fun these days. So was happy to go straight back home from work, without any stops in between, unless totally necessary.

Getting used to this “new normal” after such a long period of social distancing felt akward past week. I also felt totally overwhelmed meeting people again, it kinda drained me out, to be honest. Maybe the new week will be different? We will see…

Happy crafting,

Baby card – Tonic Studios

Hello and happy Friday!!! Like promised yesterday, I´m back with another baby card share today again. Here is what I did:

This card is a personalized one, because of it´s recipient. Also there was supposed to be a giraffe on the card and rather green tones than blue ones.

I´ve again used the Garden Gate Layering Die Set by Tonic Studios for die cutting the frame. Parts of it are made from patterned paper, one part is from white cardstock that I inked with green Distress Ink tone and an ink blending tool. The stamp image is from my older stash of stamps. I colored it with Stampin´ Up! markers. The alphas are also old and by Sassafras. And the various green papers are also from older stash of mine. The Nuvo Drops I´ve used, are the tone Bottle Green. I´ve rounded the edges with a corner chomper, by the way.

I really like how the card turned out. Hope the recipient is happy with it too!

See you soon again with another type of projects.

Sweet Baby – Tonic Studios

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! Today I´m stopping by to share a baby card in green tones.

For this card I used the Tonic Studios Garden Gate Layering Die Set with some papers from my older stash. I chose a selection of different green tones, an organza ribbon and some Stampin´ Up! stamps as well as chipboard baby shoes by Wycinanka. For decoration I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze with Nuvo Crystal Could Circles Pure Sheen Confetti and Bottle Green Nuvo Crystal Drops.

For die cutting I used the Garden Gate die cut dies and cut them both from green and white paper and layered them on top of each other.

It was fun to create a monochromatic card for a change and this was just warming up – be sure to come back tomorrow for another fun “welcome baby”-themed card! See you then!

xoxo, Sanna
