#tuac5minchallenge – Day 25

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I´m sharing my Day 25 take for the #tuac5minchallenge (by The Ugly Art Club). Here it is:

I totally wanted to do another one with a vintage lady on it, but then decided otherwise and in the end I´m happy I did. Always repeating oneself is not very creative, is it? So I changed the subject abit and used up all kinds of bits that I had left over from previous pieces (or bits from my junk bags).

I had a fab 5 minutes making this one! Looove the colours together! Did you notice I built a heart from two dried pumpking seeds? Talk about junk there :).

Hope your day was fabulous! See you tomorrow!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 24

Hello and happy Tuesday evening! A quick share for my Day 24 take on the Ugly Art Club 5 min challenge for day 24:

I really like these vintage ladies, so I did another one with one of them on it. Then some Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays, a dried out baby wipe strip, a sentiment from an old book and that´s about it.

That´s it from me for today. Hope your day was good! See you tomorrow!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 23

Hello and happy Monday! I wish your Monday was not as busy as mine was? It´s going to be a few rough weeks ahead of me, but hey, at least there is still art to help to relax :). This is my Day 23 share for the Ugly Art Club 5 min challenge:

I came home and did a quick one today. I love using these vintage girls lately. So I added another one for today´s piece.

Other than that it´s Dina Wakley Media Gloss Sprays and Tim Holtz Distress Crayons on the background. Also some Nuvo Crackle Paste and one stenicl of mine (by Stamplorations). The text is from a really old school music note book ;-).

This one came together really fast and without thinking much. I am starting to wonder if I can ever do longer periods of creating, as I am getting used to doing only 5 minutes a day ;-).

See you tomorrow,

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 22

Hello and happy Sunday! This is my take for the Day 22 at the Ugly Art Club´s #tuac5minchallenge. It´s August and the weather feels like it´s October already. What happened to summer??

I feel like this lady today – I really don´t care about fall and winter arriving at all.. I want summer back :-).

I love my roller cutter with what I can do these wonky tags. Base is a mix up of all kinds of residue bits from gelli printing and stenciling = a good starting point. On top some Dina Wakley gloss spray, a vintage image and a hand drawn leaf piece fussy cut from a leftover stenciled paper.

See you tomorrow, hope your Sunday is fab!

#tuac5minchallenge – Day 21

Hello and happy Saturday! Like I mentioned yesterday, it has been a rough week this week at work. And I´m afraid it´s going to be a few more until it get´s better again. Therefore, I felt drawn to a more “dark” piece today. To get all the stress out of my system. This is day 21 of The Ugly Art Club´s 5 min challenge:

I used plenty of Dina Wakley gloss sprays on the background with wiped off Distress paint (from a stencil) with a baby wipe on the background. I love the dark and random patterns. A piece of residue paper worked as a base for a hand drawn silhouette. Some dried out baby wipe made for a perfect ruffle and base for a fussy cut sentiment.

This piece made me feel so much better. Hope your day is a good one!
