I is for Ink – SoSS challenge blog challenge #229

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I have the honour of joining the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers as a guest member, aka “Queen Sanna” for their challenge “I is for Ink“. Sounds like a lot of fun, right?

I went full on with the ink theme and here is my card:

I first inked a piece of white paper with Distress Oxide INKS (fossilized amber, saltwater taffy and abandoned coral), then I added a geometrical stamping on top (using Distress Oxide candied apple) and after that I stamped the lady with black stamp ink on top. She is from the Dina Wakley Media “Thoughtful Women” stamp set.

After that all I needed was a snarky sentiment to go with the lady. And for that purpose I used the Dylusions “Ugh!!People!!” stamp set. But before stamping the sentiment I inked the white paper with “saltwater taffy” and then stamped with black ink on top. Some fussy cutting and assembling followed (+ some black Neocolor 2 crayon splatters) and the card was done.

Einzigartig layout – Dani Peuss Februar kit

Hallo ihr Lieben! (*for Englisch just hit the translate button on the right sidebar*) Zur Abwechslung habe ich heute ein Layout zum Herzeigen. Ich weiss es passiert in letzter Zeit nicht mehr so oft als vor ein paar Jahren, aber ich scrappe noch immer total gerne. Es gibt ja immer noch schöne Fotos und Geschichten, die festgehalten werden möchten.

Das Layout habe ich mit dem WUNDERSCHÖNEN Dani Peuss Febuar Kit gestaltet. Dazu habe ich den tollen Stempelset “Entscheidungen” verwendet. Ich wusste sofort, welches Foto ich mit diesem Stempelset verwenden möchte. Und die Papiere von der “Good Stuff” Serie von Simple Stories ergänzen die Stempel einfach perfekt!

Ich habe ja auch ein kurzes Video über den Prozess aufgenommen. Ich hoffe, es gefällt euch! Ich mache übrigens “DIY Enamel Drops” auch sehr gerne mit den Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays auf meine Werke. Die werden auch glänzend aber nicht so erhaben und so passen die Layouts weiterhin super in die Hüllen :). Habt ihr das schon mal ausprobiert?

Hier sind auch noch ein paar Detailfotos vom Layout. Das einzige Produkt, dass nicht aus dem Dani Peuss Shop stammt, ist der Rollerstempel, mit dem ich “December” gestempelt habe. Ist ein altbestand von meinem Fundus.
