Fall 7 times – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Wednesday!! Today I´m sharing my first March The Wild Hare Kits project with you guys over at The Wild Hare Kits blog. There were some unexpected problems regarding my March kit, as it decided to take a world tour before arriving to me  (currently in Sydney, Australia and not here yet). So I had to make a plan „B“ on what to create with for this month. I took all my previous The Wild Hare Kits and pulled product together from those.

Here is the result of the DIY kit building:

You can see on the video what products I chose to use for this layout – all from my leftover kits! Since the kits always have so much in them, it is really easy to put together small layout kits with the residue pieces! I love my DIY March layout kit so much! And besides, I get to use up all my residue pieces this way.

For today´s layout I used the mothly sketch very loosely.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video for you to watch. Hope you like it!! I´ve got Crate Paper Flower Market, Dear Lizzy She´s Magic, Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours, Bramble Fox embellishments and Jen Hadfield This is family featured on my layout.

I hope I could inspire you to take a second look on those leftover kits of yours and get your scrap on with them. And when you share your WHK projects, remember to use #thewildharekits, so we can find you!! We´d love to see what you guys create with the kits!

Happy scrapping,

Where did the time go? – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits March project share. Even though my March kit is still on it´s world tour from the US over Sydney to me, I have still been scrapping! I´ve put all my previous kit leftovers together and am creating projects with those during March.

Here is one more layout made that way – this one is also my take on our monthly SCRAPLIFT team challenge:

This month we are scraplifting our new team member Antonia (you can find her at Instagram under @antsheartseggy) . This is the layout I picked from her feed:

I love her basic layout idea so much! And the fact how the title guides the eye towards the journaling on the very bottom corner of the page. I followed her sketch with my layout, but added plenty of bits and bobs under my photo. So there are lots of layers this time.

I´ve combined something from every previous kit to this layout. As you can see, the Wild Hare Kits go such a long way, because this is already my second layout created using all my kit leftover pieces. And there is still more to be shared.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video again for you to watch. Hope you like it!!!

Now´s your turn. Pick a layout created by Antonia and lift it! Then use @thewildharekits when sharing on social media, so we can come and take a look! Have fun!!

Happy scrapping,

One Little Word – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, today I´m sharing my The Wild Hare Kits „One Little Word“ layout with you and I am excited to do so. Last year was not the best one for me, so it was only natural for me to pick the word I ended up picking for 2020!

My word is: SELF-CARE!!! Which, while I am writing this, again feels a bit ironic, as my 2020 also didn´t start under the best circumstances, but more to that later. Let´s now concentrate on why I picked this word!

I want to concentrate on taking better care of myself during 2020. That covers all aspects of my life. I aim to grant myself breaks, when I feel like I need them. I want to strive for more balance and also allow me to put myself first for a change. Because when I am doing fine, automatically everyone else will start to feel better around me too. I want to take care of my health, of my well-being in general, enjoy the important moments a bit more, and do more things that are good for me.

And now to the ironic fact, that does not work with my OLW. I will need another knee surgery soon, so it throws me back to start again. But sometimes you need to go thru the deepes valleys to be able to reach the mountain top, so I´m thinking, this all has a meaning of some sort and everything will sort itself out, in the end. So we´ll see at the end of the year, if the word I chose, worked out for me.

For this layout I used the Dear Lizzy She´s Magic collection from my January kit, combined with the Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely Dream paper and Pink Paislee Again and Again, paper Number 2.

There is lots of fussy cutting going on on this layout, thus I´ve also recorded a video for you to watch! I hope you enjoy watching it!

So what is your OLW for 2020 and have you documented it yet? And how did you decide to document it? We´d love to see your takes on OWL!!!

Wishing you all a great day,
xxx, Sanna

Mom & me – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits scraplift challenge. This month the design team girls are scraplifting Jess Claire´s work.

Here is the layout I lifted:

I created a 12×12 inch layout based on Jess´s work, but other than that I pretty much kept to the design. Here is what I ended up making:

I used plenty of papers on this page, wripping them, like Jess had done on her page. I also added lots of ink splatters to the background like she did on her page.

I wanted to add lots of detail around the photo, so I added some stamping with the Dear Lizzy stamp set that came with my kit.

I even used the paper that I was not that much fond of on this layout and actually liked how it blended into the other papers and colors. Can you see it above, tucked behind the photo?

I chose this page by Jess, because I liked the way she had used the patterned papers on her page! I haven´t done paper tearing for a long time and it was really fun layering all the papers on top of each other. I also liked the way she had added the little ephemera pieces in between the papers. I did the same with the chipboard pieces!

For a better idea on the actual process, I´ve also recorded a video for you to watch!

If you get inspired by our scraplift challenges, do remember to tag us, so we can find you and come and admire your work (use: #thewildharekits).

Wishing you all a lovely day,
Happy crafting,

My boy – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies! Today I´m sharing another scrapbook layout created with my January The Wild Hare Kits Deluxe Kit.

Here is what I did:

For this layout I used the Pinkfresh Studio Just A Little Lovely collection paper called „Dreams“ as well as the Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice collection paper called „Kindred“ and the Wild Hare Kits mothly cut file.

I also fussy cut some words from the Dear Lizzy She´s Magic „Feeling fine“ paper for the layout.

For decoration I used some Dear Lizzy She´s Magic collection Die Cut Shapes (for example the tickets on the upper left Corner of the page) and the Chipboard Stickers from the same collection.

For additional decoration I added some puffy stickers from the Dear Lizzy collection. These were also in my kit. There are also some really lightly stampted clouds next to the photos. I stamped those using the Dear Lizzy She´s Magic stamp set that was also in my kit.

Like always, we would love to see your projects created using the Wild Hare Kits products. So keep on tagging them with #thewildharekits, so we can find them and come and admire them!

I have a feeling this kit is so full of product that I will be able to create many more projects with it! There is still the scraplift layout coming and I´m also going to create a „One Little Word“ layout with this kit. So lot´s of exciting projects still coming up this month. Cannot wait to share them with you!

See you soon againg,
xxx, Sanna
