Christmas card set

Hello and happy Monday!! Today I´m sharing another set of Christmas cards. This card set is done using Canvas Corp papers.

I love the kraft paper on the background with the Christmas sentiments on it!! And I combined a very bright green, white and red toned paper (also by Canvas Corp) with the kraft paper and they work together really well! I´ve just added a few buttons and pieces of ribbon to the cards for detail, but didn´t want to overdo them. I find the papers themselves look fabulous enough!!

One more full week and then we are almost there! How are your Christmas preparations going along? I still have so much to prepare. And it´s been a very strange year all in all, pre and during the pandemic and I´m not sad to see 2020 go, to be honest. I just hope next year will be slightly better. I´m not wishing much this year, just that the situation would get better eventually. So scared this will just go on and on..

But for today, I´m just thankful that we have been healthy so far and that I can get my mind off the awful things thru my crafting. Wishing you all a good day! Stay healthy!!

Jolly Christmas cards – Canvas Corp

Hello lovelies, today I´m sharing another set of Christmas cards with you. This time in classical red-white-green tones. I used the Canvas Corp Mix & Match paper pad called Jolly Christmas for this set with some red and green spray inks by Tattered Angels.

Sanna Lippert - Jolly Christmas cards

These three cards are really easy and simple to make. The only „messy“ part is the coloring of the canvas pieces with spray inks :). Other than that it´s just mainly paper layering. So if you need a few quick and easy cards, this type might be the one to go for.

The fun part about the Canvas Corp Mix & Match paper pads is that you have pattened papers and special papers (like the corrugated cardstock above) in the pad with some burlap and canvas in matching colors. So you can pretty much work with one set and make a pile of themed creations with just one set. The have a set for different themes, like gardening, coffee, kitchen, bewerages, baking, travel etc. Go to the Canvas Corp shop and type „mix and match“ into the search icon and you will find all the sets available :).

These cards are also created with the same paper pad as a starting point. I then die cut a word with a die cut die  (by Elizabeth Craft Desings) as a centerpiece for my cards. The canvas behind the die cut word is also from the paper pad, but I toned them red and green with Tattered Angels Glimmer and Chalkboard Mists. Wishing you all a lovely, creative weekend!!!

Embossed Christmas cards – Canvas Corp

Hello lovelies!!! A countdown to Christmas has started over at the Canvas Corp Brands blog and there is lots and lots of inspiration for everyone to see! So I highly recommend, you keep an eye on the blog and what is going on over there. The projects are for sure going to get you into CREATIVE Christmas spirit :)!!

I joined the fun with a set of 12 Christmas cards. Yes, TWELVE!!! I am coming closer to my goal of getting all the handmade Xmas cards done (and mailed) in time this year…

Here is what I did:
Embossed, stamped Xmas cards - Sanna Lippert And I only needed two sheets of 12×12 paper for these cards!!! One plain kraft cardstock and one Snowflakes on Kraft Reverse. Both from the Canvas Corp store. A little paper goes a long way, as you can see.

I´ve used 4 different embossing powders (see the video in the end for more details!) on my cards – a plain black and white one, seafoam white and a glitter black. Those colors worked so well with the kraft cardstock and in combination with the black patterened paper.

The only thing I needed to add was some fussy cut fabric pieces from the Jolly Christmas Fabric Panel. I colored the fabric with markers and decorated them with some glitter glue.

A little bit of canvas fringe for additional decoration and stamped, fussy cut sentiments by Elizabeth Craft Designs to personalize the cards and then you only need to adhere everytthing on their places. Fun, fast and easy!  And I love the look of black and kraft and fabric/canvas together. A little bit retro, a little playful and not too bulky so they will fit into an envelope well too.

I love this snowman :)!!! Such a cute fabric sheet with all the picture on it. And now to the video:

That´s it for today! Hope to see you come by soon, I´ve got more projects to share soon!

I am also submitting these cards to the ANYTHING GOES challenge over at the Simon Says Challenge Blog 🙂 !!!

Happy crafting,
