Where did the time go? – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and welcome to another The Wild Hare Kits March project share. Even though my March kit is still on it´s world tour from the US over Sydney to me, I have still been scrapping! I´ve put all my previous kit leftovers together and am creating projects with those during March.

Here is one more layout made that way – this one is also my take on our monthly SCRAPLIFT team challenge:

This month we are scraplifting our new team member Antonia (you can find her at Instagram under @antsheartseggy) . This is the layout I picked from her feed:

I love her basic layout idea so much! And the fact how the title guides the eye towards the journaling on the very bottom corner of the page. I followed her sketch with my layout, but added plenty of bits and bobs under my photo. So there are lots of layers this time.

I´ve combined something from every previous kit to this layout. As you can see, the Wild Hare Kits go such a long way, because this is already my second layout created using all my kit leftover pieces. And there is still more to be shared.

I´ve also recorded a start-to-finish video again for you to watch. Hope you like it!!!

Now´s your turn. Pick a layout created by Antonia and lift it! Then use @thewildharekits when sharing on social media, so we can come and take a look! Have fun!!

Happy scrapping,

Winter cards – The Wild Hare Kits

Hi there lovelies and happy Sunday! Today I´m sharing two sets of winter themed cards, created using my JANUARY The Wild Hare Kits kit. I am still very much using that kit too, even though there is not much product left. But what is left, works so well for cards, so I did a few 🙂

And here is the second set:

I´ve used all bits and bobs from my kit leftovers on these cards, and they were so much fun to make! I hope you get inspired to use your kit leftovers for smaller projects like these, or even make ATCs or tags? Have you done that yet with any of your #thewildharekits? If so, remember to tag them, so we can come and admire your work!!

Happy crafting,

December project wrap-up – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!!! It´s the last day of 2019, so I´m wishing you a great New Year´s Eve and wishing you all a wonderful, creative and amazing 2020!

Today I am again sharing my project wrap-up video with you. It´s a video about all the projects that I created with my December Deluxe The Wild Hare Kit and also shows you what is left of the kit after finishing all the projects. So this gives you an idea on for how much this type of kit is good for.

As a bonus for today´s post I have one new layout to share and also a set of Christmas cards. So let´s start with those:

So this is my last layout I created with the December kit. I used all paper collections on this one – Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland, Crate Paper Snowflake and Pink Paislee Together for Christmas! I love every paper collection so much and my kit was amazing!!!

And those Crate Paper alphas are just sooo adorable!! Love, love, love them!

And now to the card set:

For this set I´ve used pretty much all of the leftover patterned paper (there are just tiny bits left) and the monthly cut file.

For this card I´ve used the Crate Paper Snowflake collection ephemera and patterned paper. Love this paper so much!

This card I also done with the same “car” patterned paper, but with the b-side of it. And it features the monthly cut file. I love this cut file so much! It makes for great cards on it´s own. The type of cards, if you forgot to send a card for someone, for example. You could then adhere the deer on the front and add a “…sorry I missed Christmas…” type of sentiment inside.. 🙂

For the last card I used the Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland patterned paper on the background and added Crate Paper Snowflake ephemera and stickers on top. So now I´ve got plenty of cards made in advance for next Christmas :).

And here is the wrap-up video – featuring all 5 layouts and 14 cards:

I am very excited to receive my January kit already as it will be a complete surprise! I didn´t wish for anything particular for January, instead I asked them to surprise me with the kit. Soooo, I have been on needles and waiting for my kit to arrive. Hoping it will be here soon… it´s going to be so exciting to see what´s inside!!!

See you soon,
Sanna

May all… – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing another layout, created with the Wild Hare Kits December kit. After doing the scraplift layout last week I wanted to play a little more with circles, and this is what I ended up with.

I die cut various papers from my kit (Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland & Pink Paislee Together for Christmas into circles and arranged them on top of the Crate Paper Snowflake and Pink Paislee papers (see the product list at the end of this post for more details).

I also added a very bold title (Christmas song lyrics!) with the Crate Paper alphas stickers and I love the look it creates!! These might just be my al time favorite alphas of all time at the moment :)!

I ran out of “E´s” at some point, so I used the number “3” as “e´s” :). Works really well. I also added some ephemera and stickers clusters here and there on the page. Those are done with the Crate Paper collection.

And for finishing touches, I added of afew black ink droplets here and there. Some of the stickers are adhered on place with 3D foam, by the way. That creates additional dimension to the page :).

That´s it for today! See you again tomorrow with my December The Wild Hare Kits project wrap up. I might have an extra project coming up for that tomorrow 😉 … ! See you then!

Happy crafting,

DIY Gingerbread house – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Sunday!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and ate lots of cookies and got time to relax with your family and loved ones! I´ve created a layout for today´s The Wild Hare Kits post featuring one of our family Christmas traditions: baking and decorating a gingerbread house.

For this layout I used the Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland collection paper called „Candycane Forest“. I cut the paper and turned it around to create a two-toned look to the background.  Now it looks like I used two separate papers, but I actually just turned a piece of paper around and adhered them together with the washi tapes from the same collection.

Then I printed out two color photos of my son decorating the gingerbread house and arranged them onto the page. For decoration I used plenty oft he Crate Paper Snowflake collection Ephemera pieces, some Freckled Fawn wood veneer elements that were in my kit as well as some of the Crate Paper Snowflake collection stickers. The title is created with the cute Thickers that came with my kit and I also added some older round Jenni Bowlin alpha stickers from my stash, as they match the colours of the page perfectly. I finished the page off with faux stitching around the edges and by adding the journaling.

So what kind of traditions are typical for your family? Have you documented them on a scrapbook layout yet? I hope this layout inspires you to do so!! If you create something inspired by this page, do remember to tag #thewildharekits. Wishing you a lovely weekend and a very creative new year!!! See you next month again with new projects!!

By the way, I´ve created a style profile for January, where I noted nothing else but: I wish for a happy and fun kit for January. So it´s going to be total surprise! I cannot wait to see it and share it with you guys.

But for now, I´m wishing you all a great New Years eve and may 2020 be an awesomely creative one for all of us 🙂 !! xxx, Sanna
