Set of cards – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! Today I´m stopping by to share my last August Deluxe Kit project with you. This one is a set of clean and simple cards.

For these cards I used white card bases as my starting point and then added either stenciling, ephemera or fussy cut paper as a focal point.

For the first card I added some Epic Triangles stenciling onto the background using Distress Ink, then layered a few Flower Market ephemera pieces on top and added tiny stamped images next to them. For finishing touches I used a Bramble Fox star and a puffy sticker from my own stash.

For the second card I matted the card base with a Pink Fresh Studio Everyday Musings paper then added a Flower Market ephemera as a focal point and stamped a sentiment with the stamp set from the same collection. For details I added some black acrylic paint splatters.

For my last card I fussy cut the Embroidery Hoops paper from Flower Market collection and added the hoops in a cluster onto the card. Underneath there is again some Epic Triangles stenciling with yellow Distress Ink and a few pink spray ink splatters. For finishing touches I added a faux stitching around the edges and stamped a few thank you-sentiments with the Flower Market stamp and black stamp ink.

This was a fun set to create. It´s not my usual card creating style, because the cards have hardly any media layers on them. But I loved using patterned paper for card creating for a chance and creating very puristic cards.

I hope you get inspired by this card set and create a few cards yourself. For more details on the Wild Hare Kits, see their website here. Wishing you all a lovely day and

happy crafting,

ps. This resulted from my August Deluxe Kit – all projects (and leftover bits) shared on this video. Hope you enjoy it!!

Mantis – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone, I am sharing yet another The Wild Hare Kits August Deluxe Kit project today, even though it´s already September. I had been creating several layouts last weekend, while waiting for my September kit to arrive :-D.

Here is my absolute favourite with this kit – it´s because I LOVE this paper!!!

I could create several layouts using this paper, I adore it that much :)!! Here is what I did:

I first arranged the paper onto the page very loosely to get an idea on the placement, then I took the Echo Park Paper Epic Triangles stencil and applied some green Distress Ink onto the Color Fresh “Paint The Town” paper thru the stencil.

Next I added some stamping onto the papers I had chosen using black stamp ink.

After that I crew a circle with a pencil onto the paper and started stamping leaves (using the Flower Market clear stamp set) around the drawn circle.

After that I added pink stamped hearts to the circle using the same stamp set.

Then I colored the leaves and the hearts using a water tank brush and Distress Inks and added some spray ink splatters in green and pink tones.

Next I arranged and adhered all the papers on place. I used the Pink Fresh Everyday Musings papers on the background and added a few details with the Flower Market Squares paper and Ephemera. There is also a bunch of Bramble Fox hearts on the layout.

The puffy stickers I used were not in my kit, but are from my older stash and by Amy Tangerine. They go really well with the August kit, so I added a few of them.

I also stamped the date with a regular office supply date stamp. I have noticed that if I don´t add the journaling and especially the date right away, I will not add it at all, and a few years later I don´t have a clue what year the photo was taken. So better to do it right away.

See the tag behind the photo? I´ve added the journaling there. It´s a fun way to add lots of text to a page, without it all showing at first sight.

So this is my last official August Wild Hare Kits layout. I still have a few papers left, mainly smaller pieces, but I´m saving them for later and might add bits of them to layouts I create with the September kit, we´ll see.

Hope you get inspired to scrap a little yourself and do take a look at the Wild Hare Kits website and order yourself a fun hand-curated kit! They are really worth the money as you get a customized kit, perfect for your current scrapping needs!

Happy scrapping,

CHA 2015 – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today I´m sharing another August Deluxe Kit layout with you, instead of an unboxing video. My parcel is in transit (hoping it will arrive today!), so I cannot share the unboxing video yet, as my kit has not physically arrived yet. But no worries, I still got a few August Deluxe Kit layouts up my sleeve.

Today I´d like to share a fun A4 sized one. This photo was taken in an photo booth type of thing in Anamheim, back in 2015. That is when I visited CHA. So the photo is not of especially good quality, but it is a moment captured, full of memories, therefore I scrapped it.

I used a 8×11 sized white cardstock from my own stash on the background, then added some Distress Inks with ink blending tool around the edges and then took the Echo Park Paper Epic Triangles stencil and applied the same color tones thru the stencil on to the background.

Next I cut some The Pink Fresh Studio Everyday Musings papers into strips and also added some residue Heidi Swapp Color Fresh paper strips and created a heart from those strips. I adhered everything on place with paper glue very lightly and then sew around the edges with black sewing yarn.

For finishing touches I added stamping with the Flower Market stamp set from my August kit and decorated the heart with alphas (which were not in my kit, but from my older stash), Bramble Fox stars and Flower Market Ephemera. And I could not resist but add a few black paint splatters here and there.

That is my second to last layout with this kit. I still have one more layout and a card set to share. And I have a few bits left over – I will share all August projects and the leftover pieces on a video later this week.

Wishing you a great start into the week! Happy scrapping,
Sanna
