Daily Art Practice – Day 78

Hello and happy Friday and happy 1st of April! Here is my take for Day 78 of my Daily Art Practice 2022 with the Artist Almanac 2022. Since I took a Covid-related pause, I am late and will not be able to catch up (I think!), I even thought of taking another route to finish this year off. But I haven´ t decided on that yet. We will see.

So this one again has an old photo on it. In addition to the photo there is an old book paper, some journaling tag bits and paper pieces as well as a Klartext stamps (of course!) and some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray, Distress Oxides and Neocolor 2´ s.

I really enjoy this colour combination at the moment and find pleasure creating with it. It´ s still a simple collage type of piece. I am starting slowly and with simple stuff after the infection.

I hope you enjoyed today´ s piece as much as I enjoyed making it. It´ s so good to be back. Spring is also here! The quarantine time I was at home we had the best of weather here in Austria (of course!). Can´ t wait for better weather, more outside time and less infections (hopefully). However, I wonder if this will ever end… And the worst thing? So what if you had it once – you can still get it again (add an ironic yay to the end).

Hope you are all okay, lovelies!
See you tomorrow,
xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – Day 73

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am a day late with sharing this, but IRL got the better of me. It´ s been a rough two days. I will try and catch up this week, but I just didn´ t have the energy & time to share yesterday and also today´ s piece will not get done today. Oh well, life is sometimes very hard.

I used all kinds of papers and embellishments from my stash (mainly Canvas Corp & 7gypsies), a Tim Holtz paper doll, Klartext stamps, Dina Wakley paints and gloss spray as well as Gelatos and a Stabilo all.

Here are some detail photos:

I really enjoyed making this page! And love these colours together. I hope to be back tomorrow with a piece – let´ s see if IRL is in my favor tomorrow. Hope life is calmer at your end! Take care,
xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – Day 67

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today´ s daily art practice piece is done and dusted!

This is the craziest background in a while. I just used all residue bits of previous days almanac pages and added some Neocolor 2 on top and then some white gesso here and there. On top of that some plus signs and random patterns done with Poscas. The leaves I drew on today´ s almanac piece and fussy cut them to add them on top of everything in the end. And then some alpha stickers for the word “hope”.

And for finishing touches some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray. It´ s a very crazy page, but I cannot seem to be able to do anything else at the moment. The state we are in atm. just seems to come thru this way on paper. Here are a few more photos:

I hope you still enjoyed today´ s take. See you again tomorrow with another one!

Take care,
xxx, Sanna

*For English just hit the Google Translate button on the sidebar*

Uns so habe ich diese Karte gestaltet:

Daily Art Practice – Day 66

Hello and happy Tuesday! Here is again my daily art practice piece for day 66 with the Artist Almanac 2022.

I again used the Necolor 2 crayons on the backgroud with a green and white Posca pen. To that I added “Aloe” Gloss Spray splatters and fussy cut some gel printed pieces & paper residues into “pizza slices” and created similar circles like on the almanac page. I finished the piece off with Klartext stamps again.

Here are some detail photos:

Orange is a colour that I rarely use. Not one of my favorite go-to colours. But combined with the other bits, I can live with it :).

Have a good day and take care,
xxx, Sanna
