2 funny – The Nifty Pixel

Hello lovelies! Time for some hybrid & digi fun again! This time, you will not believe it, I went TOTALLY digital!! Yes, my very first ever fully digital scrapbooking layout. And no, I am not as good as the other digi girls in my team, but for my first ever layout I think I did quite allright 😉

Here is this months GORGEOUS digi collection called “It´s the little things” – feast your eyes on these beauties:

Fabulous kit, isn´t it? I always, always adore Em´s designs! They are so much fun. Just look at those badges and the brush & stamp set!!! A-D-O-R-E!

Time for some drum roll (lol!)… here is my digi page:

Sanna LippertI´ve played around with the brush & stamp set, some alphas, solid paper & the chicken wire. Quite clean & simple, my page, actually, isn´t it? I´ve done some resizing, layering and fading here. This is all pretty much basics, but if I can do this, you can do it too :).

I used a black and white photo three times on this page. It´s my silly, crazy bunch who I love to bits :-). They make me laugh and happy – a perfect page for the upcoming Valentine´s Day…

Now make sure you hop over to The Nifty Pixel and The Digichick website – there are some goodies up for grabs there and a ton of inspiration from my DT colleagues. Enjoy!!!

Happy digi scrapping,
xxx, Sanna

Beim Klettern – The Nifty Pixel

Hello there! I´ve kept sharing quite a few hybrid pages with you lately and here comes another one :). Can you see I am enjoying hybrid scrapping???!! The reason is simple – the designs from The Nifty Pixel are just screaming “scrap me!!!” :-). The “Poster Art Paper Pack” is no exception. Loooooved this scenery the second I layed my eyes on it!!! Here is peak on the whole kit:

Such a gorgeous kit, isn´t it?? And I had the perfect photo to go with the paper too. Last summer we went to a forest rope park where you can climb thru various tracks of different difficulty scales. Let me just add here that I am afraid of heigts… now, imagine me going thru a black track… I had a few moments of true fear here and there along the tracks but I made it. And talk about adrenalin rush!!! All in all it was a lot of fun and I am proud we/I did it. Could be, that the kids want to do it again this summer… 😉

I´ve again added some DIY rub-ons to the background. Again made with the help of the digi kit and some Grafix Rub-Onz transfer film. Other than adding a few little bits and details here and there, I´ve pretty much kept the background as it is. It is very bold and I Inf that it does not need so much to go with it. Just a photo, some journaling and a few details is enough.

This paper would be also perfect for hiking photos… might need to use it again :).

I bet you cannot wait to get your hands on these designs?? Well, here is a direct link to the digi design store where you can “shop ´till you drop” 🙂 :-)!

Have fun (hybrid) scrapping!!!

Dinner is served – The Nifty Pixel

Hi there, everyone! Today I´m sharing yet another layout created with the Girl Friday digi kit by The Nifty Pixel. I´ve again scrapped a hybrid page, as I always do. Here is the page:

Here is a direct link that will take you to the Scrap Stacks Store for some digi kit shopping :). I´ve used the Girl Friday kits on this page. In addition there are also some goodies from my own stash as well as a stencil by The Crafter´s Workshop and some misting (colors by Tattered Angels).

I am really enjoying scrapbooking hybrid pages with Em´s designs!! They are so much fun to work with. I hope you give them a try – I guarantee, you will not regret it :).

Oh, and some bunny news to go with the layout. So these are the bunnies we had so far – Jack & Cookie. Yesterday we got a new addition to our bunny family. A cute white lionhead rabbit girl moved in with the boys. As soon as she gets adjusted to her new neighbourhood, I will post a photo.

She was supposed to be a boy bunny, but when the owner took “him” to the docs to unsex him (the other bunnies are unsexed too), it turned out it was not a boy in the first place :). So Henry (that was “his” name) has now turned into Henriette :).

Happy hybrid scrapping!!

I´m enough – The Nifty Pixel

Hi there lovelies! Today I am going to share one more hybrid scrapbooking page created with the Nifty Pixel digi kits. I´ve used the “Girl Friday” kit for this layout and added some misting and stenciling here and there.

I used the Girl Friday main kit, the painted paper kit as well as the Vignette Impressions on this layout. The stencil I´ve used is by 3rd Eye – who sadly closed their doors (miss them much!). The green mist I´ve used is by Canvas Corp Brands. I´ve also added some bits and pieces from my older stash to go with the hybrid products. I love Em´s designs – they are just gorgeous – every single time! AND they are perfect for combining with my own stash. Just follow this link to go directly to the Scrap Stacks Shop for more details on The Nifty Pixel kits and goodies.

Happy (hybrid) scrapping,
xxx, Sanna

Success – The Nifty Pixel

Today is a very special day over at the The Nifty Pixel – the store has opened it´s doors and the first digi kits and digi skethes are online!!! Hope over to their website to congratulate Em on a job very well done and while there, take a better look on what the site has to offer.

I must admit that this is the very first time for me using hybrid products on my layouts but I AM LOVING IT! Well, not hard scrapping to there cool designs, I might add:

Check out this stunningly gorgeous kit!!! Just amazing, isn´t it!!! Anndd..there is even more to discover here!

And these are the newest sketches!! I did the one in the middle. I used some hybrid papers from the “Dreams come true” digi kit on my layout.

And here is my take on it! I used a piece of cardstock on the background and added the hybrid pieces on top. Even though the kit is very feminine, I managed to pull out some papers that worked very well together with a sporty theme :). And I am loving Em´s designs!!! Let me tell you – hybrid can be A LOT of fun!!!

I didn´t stick to the digi kit completely, but also added some bits and pieces from my stash. And used a stencil (by The Crafter´s Workshop) on the background. That is the fun of it – you can add as much or as little of the hybrid details onto your layout. I would strongly recommend you take a peek on the gorgeous digi layouts my team colleagues have created – so worth it!!! And while you are there, you might want to add the kit to your shopping basket. I have truly enjoyed creating with it!!!

Happy scrapping, lovelies!
