Mir Dir – Dani Peuss

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am stopping by to share another layout with you. This one is created with the Dani Peuss September 2022 Main Kit and September Klartext stamp (plus a few other stamps from Klartext).

The title of this layout translates to: “with you”. I wanted to scrap a few recent everyday photos, because life also happens in the ordinary, not just on vacation. And I found these photos very scrap worthy :).

I used following Klartext stamps on this layout: 2209 – Die Welt entdecken, 5026 – collage|fotografie, 5034 – Mia. When stamping, I used different stamp ink tones to stamp onto the background (Hero Arts Wet Cement & Soft Granite, Versafine Nocturne and Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber).

On the backgound I have used a Dani Peuss paper with Simple Stories Let´ s Go! Collection papers on top. The embellishments are from the same Simple Stories series, but the stickers I added to the very bottom are from my Sticker Surprise Pack from Dani Peuss (see video about that here) and Teresa Collins Favorites Sticker Set.

In addition I also added some yellow splatters (Dina Wakley Gloss Spray – lemon) to the page. Something I love to do :). And I like yellow, so there´ s that :).

The layout itself is about my life with hubs. The second photo is posed, by the way. He really did not suffer that much when going shopping with me. He actually did that voluntarily :). He just needs a little preparing time to adjust to the thought and when he gets that, everything works out fine :). And to the first photo; he actually said that moment: “Show me how to bake a cake, so I can make one for you some day”. Thus, very scrap worthy photos and events :).

I hope you enjoyed today´ s layout share and if you got inspired, hop over to the Dani Peuss store for lovely kits and stamps.

See you soon, have a great weekend!

Nachbarschaft erkunden – Dani Peuss

Hello and happy Sunday! Today I am sharing yet another layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September 2022 main kit. Again sticking with the A4 format for this page too:

I wanted to use the yellow lovely background paper (Dani Peuss collection) with something garden related, so I scrapped some photos from past May when we visited a plant and gardens show.

From this sideways taken photo you can see that I used a thin layer of white gesso on the background to create a “frame” for the photos. I haven´ t done that in a while, but it sure give a page more struckture immediately.

All the embellishments on this page are again from the Simple Stories Let´ s Go! collection that also came with the kit. I fussy cut the tag into two pieces to elongate it and bring more composition to the page. The stamping is all done using various Klartext stamps (“Auf großer Reise”, “Österreich” and “Staycation”).

In addition to the background paper I used a second Dani Peuss paper on this page. See the fussy cut leaves on the upper and lower corners? I cut them from one of the papers and used them as decor here – just matches the garden and plant theme so well :).

For the journaling I used both stamps and a hand written story. And I again sneaked some black Stabilo all pen splatters here and there. I used the do splatters on every layout I did and they seem to be making a comeback again :).

I hope I could inspire you with this layout a little bit!! See you again next week with another layout (or maybe even a mini for a change again!!).

Until then, take care,
xxx, Sanna

Gute Reise – Dani Peuss

Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Today I am sharing another layout with you that I created using the Dani Peuss September 2022 Main Scrapbooking kit. Here is what I created with it:

For this page I used the A4 sized Dani Peuss papers that were in the September kit as my background. The journaling card “all roads lead somewhere” is from the Simple Stories collection called “Let´ s Go!” which also came with the September kit.

All the stamping on this layout is done with the stamp set that is exclusive to the September kit (called “die Welt entdecken”). I used the stamp set in a bit different way. Instead of using it for a travel theme, I used it for a “life journey” type of page and scrapped about my boy starting his next chapter in life.

All the embellishments (also in the kit and by Simple Stories) perfectly worked for this theme too. The only thing outside of the kit that I added to this page, is the black pen outlining, the Stabilo all splatters here and there and the date stamped onto the page. Everything else is done with the September kit. I love this background paper so much. Gorgeous colours and pattern for this type of page.

I hope I could inspire you a little bit with this layout share today! Do take a look at the Dani Peuss September kit. It is not just only good for travel themed projects, like you see here :).

Wishing you all a lovely start into September and whatever new is coming your way this fall!

Water – Dani Peuss September Kit

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! Today I am stopping by to share a layout that I created using the Dani Peuss September Main Scrapbook Kit. I did a A4-size page for a change. Here it is:

I printed a photo strip with my Canon Selphy and added the Simple Stories ephemera from the Dani Peuss September Kit around it. I then added a journaling sticker next to the photo strip. This is by Heidi Swapp (Journal Studio Stickers) and was part of the surprise sticker pack buy I made in July at Dani Peuss online store.

The alpha stickers are white stickers from the kit which I first colored in light blue and then added white Signo-Uni-Ball marker dots on top. The stamping is done with the Klartext stamp that comes with the September kit. For stamping I used the VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink tone (also available at the DP store).

I hope you enjoyed my layout and hopefully also got inspired by it! I love water and swimming – it soothes my soul and helps me reduce stress and forget about all sorrows. So this pool of ours (even though not quite finished yet) has brought me so much joy already. I am so glad we decided to build one!

What is something that brings you peace of mind?
