Daily Art Practice – May 9th

Hello and happy Thursday! Today´ s Daily Art Journal page share is here:

I again did a very small page, just about the size of the almanac page. I fussy cut the butterfly from the original page and adhered it onto a piece of Japanese paper, then fussy cut some butterflies from an old book page and adhered everything on place. In addition I also added a Klartext stamp sentiment – again from the “Denglish” series.

That´ s it! I am adding these tiny pages to the journal, as I am still trying to fit as much in as possible. I still might need to re-bind the journal into smaller parts at some point. For now it is still working as is…

Take care,

Daily Art Practice – May 8th

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice journal page. This one is a very small one, I just used the Artistic Almanac 2022 page as my background piece.

I used one of my STAMPlorations stencil designs here on the background with white gesso. On top of that I added an old black and white portrait photo and finished the page off with a Klartext stamp.

I really like using these “Denglisch” sentiments in my journal. And also stencils! Hope you enjoyed today´ s share.

Have a great day and remember to be thankful for all the good things in your life today.

Take care,
Sanna

Daily Art Journal – May 6th

Hello and happy Monday! Today I am again sharing another Daily Art Practice piece from my journal. This one is May 6th:

I used a piece of green japanese paper on the background. It was not exactly the same tone, but I didn´ t have the exact colour available. In addition I cut off some olf book paper bits (into circles) and added them to the page. I also drew similar pattens with a black pen onto the green paper and added an old photo and a postal stamp as well as a 7gypsies number on top.

For stamping I again used a Klartext stamps “Denglisch” stamp set sentiment. It means something like this: A matter that has been thoroughly discusses should now be forgotten and not talked about anymore.

That´ s all for today. See you tomorrow with another post!

Daily Art Practice – April 18th

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice page from my journal. This one, again, is done using the Artistic Almanac 2022 as a starting point.

For this page I simply continued the pattern of the Almanac page in a matter that I thought it would continue outside the piece. I used Posca´ s and Distress Crayons for creating the areas. Also some Klartext stamping is included – this time another “Denglish” sentiment. I love those!

I finished the page off with some Stabilo all pencil droplets. It´ s now been a week since my surgery. I cannot wait to get this journey behind me and start another one – this time without yearly surgery appointments!! It´ s been a rough few years. I need a break from all that now.

Here´ s to better times and endings!

Daily Art Practice – April 14ht

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Journal page, created with the Artistic Almanac 2022. Happy yellow tones here!

I first drew flowers onto the almanac page and then fussy cut them. After that I took a leftover piece of paper and drew some leaves and fussy cut those too. The background is done with Distress Crayons and some leftover paper strips and the page is finished with a Klartext “Denglish” stamp sentiment.

Today´ s page is a reminder to enjoy one´ s life! It all goes so fast, so many things can happen and you really never know when your time is up. So better try and cherish and enjoy every minute we have on this earth!!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
