Daily Art Practice – May 29-31

Hello and happy Monday! Today I am again sharing 3 tiny pages from my DAP-Journal.

For this first one I used the almanac page and combined some magazine pages and words to it. The words translate to: “Categories: natural and artificial”.

For this one I created a centerpiece from the almanac page and added magazine pages in similar colours around it and then stamped some Klartext stamp images and wrote a word to accompany them. This one translates to: “Sincerely don´ t care”.

For the last piece I did pretty uch the same. I added some magazine page bits to the almanac page, then took some leftover pieces from previous almanac pages and added them in between and finished the page off with some gesso here and there and then fussy cut washi tape words. This washi is from Studio Calico from way back, when I used to subscribe their kits.

So this was May. I will share a flip-thru video of the May pages soon and then continue sharing June. I bet I cannot finish this journal by the end of this year, but it is not easy posting a page a day constantly. Life usually gets in between ;-).

Take care,
xxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – May 20-22

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing 3 tiny pages from my DAP-Journal at once:

This is May 20th: done with the almanac page, then added a magazine image, some Neocolor 2´ s and finished the page off with a Klartext stamp. The stamped sentiment tranlates to: “to dream”.

This is May 21st: Here again I tried to continue the feeling of the original almanac page and did that by using Distress Paints, a magazine image of a dance and a Klartext stamped word which translates to “to dance”.

And finally, May 22nd: On this page I again used Distress Paints, a Posca pen in black and a Klartext stamp which translates to: “to laugh”. So this actually is a kind of series, in a way.

I hope you enjoyed today´ s share and hopefully I could inspire you also abit.
Take care,
xxxx, Sanna

Daily Art Practice – May 19th

Hello and happy Monday! Here is another DAP-Journal share:

This one again is a very tiny page. I used Distress Paints, Klartext stamps and Posca pens on this one to mimic the original almanac page. The sentiment translates to: who wants to be beautiful, must smile :).

Hope your Monday was a good one!

Daily Art Journal – May 10th

Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing yet another art journal page from my Daily Art Journal 2022. This is May 10th:

For this page I used up all kinds of bits and bobs of paper that were left over from previous pages and/or previous projects. On top of those I added Neocolor 2 crayons and Klartext stamp sentiments.

The sentence translates to: “You can do it”. I am using these type of pages both as a kind of journal diaries as well as motivational pieces. Sometimes there are times in life, where life gets extra hard and then I turn to my journals. Because they are my outlet for sorting all kinds of feels and emotions.

And currently, there has been many. But this helps!
Take care and hope all is good at your end!

Daily Art Practice – May 8th

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another Daily Art Practice journal page. This one is a very small one, I just used the Artistic Almanac 2022 page as my background piece.

I used one of my STAMPlorations stencil designs here on the background with white gesso. On top of that I added an old black and white portrait photo and finished the page off with a Klartext stamp.

I really like using these “Denglisch” sentiments in my journal. And also stencils! Hope you enjoyed today´ s share.

Have a great day and remember to be thankful for all the good things in your life today.

Take care,
