Hello everyone, just stopping by today to share a card I created recently. This one is a masculine, clean and simple get well card.
Since this card is for a man, I used very little embellishments and tried to keep it simple. The bicycle paper was chosen on purpose since the recipient is into cycling. He was happy to receive the card, so I accomplished my mission ?.
Today I´m quickly dropping by here just to share a fast and easy card that really does not take that long to make. Yet, depending on the papers you use or the patterns and colours you choose, you can create a card for practically any occation.
I used the new Elizabeth Craft Designs releases for this card: The Stitched Fishtail Banners with the die cut word Smile. I first took a piece of white cardstock, placed the word smile on the right lower corner to create an open area there. Then I matted that area with a green patterned paper from the back. Next I cut patterened papers with all the various Stitched Fishtail Banner dies. Now all I needed to do was to adhere the white cardstock piece with foam dots onto a card base for a more dimensional effect and adhere the die cut patterned paper pieces overlappingly. I added three small puffy stickers for decoration and the card was done.
Go check out the new releases over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs website. I adore them!! So many GORGEOUS die cut dies in this release.

Hi there! Just some bits and pieces with an older photo on this share today :). I loved creating this simple and easy going layout :). Just added bits and pieces here and there without any further plan, adhered the photo in the middle and that was it!
Not much media in there, no big techniques going on, just fun details and pieces and lots of hidden journaling :). Feels good to make a clean and simple page once and a while!
ps. while you are reading this, I will be sitting in an airplane on my way home from a special trip! More to come on that one 🙂
Hi there, just wanted to share a few more Christmas cards with you today. I think these will be the last ones this season 😉 …
I´ve used lots of pre-made pieces/embellishments on these cards. First of all, because I just want to finally use them and second, because this way the cards are finished in no time :).
For this card I created an extremely C&S cover and then stamped the sentiment (using this stamp set) inside the card.
This one has the silvery word „XMAS“ on it. That actually was a Xmas present decoration from a present I received last year. I saved it since it was very pretty and it now decorates the card instead.
And this last one is my favorite. I love, love, love the glitter covered snowflake against the golden doilie. And the pretty die cut, spray inked piece on the background is just simply cute. Hmmm…might save this card for myself…!? Nah, just kidding!!!
Now every year I make myself a goal to start earlier with the card production so that I have more time and can put more effort into them, but for some reason I haven´t managed to reach that goal during the past years. Therefore my cards turn out to be pretty simple. But maybe next year will be different…we will see!
Hi there, here comes yet another Christmas card based on a challenge I saw on the internet. Now why didn´t I think of this earlier?? So much more fun creating Christmas cards when based on various challenges :)!!! This time I used this sketch as inspiration (retrosketches #142):
and this is my take on it:
I really liked how the main focus is concentrated on only one side and layered my little bits and pieces pretty much the same way the as in the sketch. I´ve just replaced the paper squares with Xmas stockings and stars :). I really seem to be drawn to CAS cards lately. Well, might also have something to do with the fact that I need to create lots of cards for friends and family and need fast and easy solutions, especially this year, when I am way too late with the preparations!!
