Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Today I´ m preparing more Christmas cards again, and wanted to share a card that resulted as a residue project from my previous Elizabeth Craft Designs cardmaking video.
I used the Classic Christmas Special Kit products on this card too and created the background with a leftover cover sheet of the background die. It was a left over piece from die cutting their Clear Double Sided Adhesive with the background die. I just placed it onto the card base and applied Distress Oxide thru it onto the card. That way I had a DIY stencil for creating the pattern.
Next I used two leftover bauble pieces and adhered Clear Double Sided Adhesive in strips across them. Then applied different tones of Silk Microfine Glitter on them and after that added some craft drops along the lines. For additional detail I used the adhesive tape on the sided to add even more shine to the card. A in black stamped and fussy cut sentiment from the stamp and die set got used in the middle.
These baubles were so much fun to make. Imagine doing two-toned ones in red and white or turquoise and gold or any other fun combination!! And the sparkle! I just love sparkly things for Christmas and Silk Microfine Glitter is the perfect product for this season :).
Have a great day and wishing you a good start into the new week!
