Merry Christmas card

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I´m again stopping by to share a Crhistmas card with you. This time created in very classic color combination: blue, red and white. I love this color combination on winter cards!

To create the background I used some blue Distress Ink. Next I placed the Winter Flowers stencil on top of that blue inked piece and applied Nuvo Expanding Mousse (worn linen) thru the stencil onto the surface and heat set it to create a 3D distressed effect.

Then I inked an additional piece of paper in blue and added a stamped sentiment. For finishing touches I added some liquid drops in red. All in all a very easy to do card, but thru the 3D mousse effect it has a nice texture and depth to it.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend! We are one week down form our second lockdown here in Austria.

Joy card

Hello and happy Thursday!!! Today I´m on the mood for sharing a Christmas card with you again. This time with plenty of sparkle :). I used a STAMPlorations slimline stencil with Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter Paste to create the background.

As a base for that I used a piece of red cardstock which creates a really nice contrast to the background with the glitter. On the sides I have sand toned velvet ribbon from my older product stash. Still going strong with stash busting here :).

To finish the card off I added some fussy cut pieces from Canvas Corp. papers I had left over from my design team gig from a few years back. The papers themselves are very modern, but still work really well with the velvet and the glitter and together, funny enough, create a really cool vintage looking card.

I´ll leave you with this card today, but be sure to come and visit my blog tomorrow, because I am part of the 6th annual STAMPlorations Giving Thanks blog hop that goes live tomorrow!! So don´t miss that one!! See you tomorrow!! Also, a friendly reminder on the ongoing Christmas special sale at STAMPlorations:

See you tomorrow! Have a great day!

Joy to the world

Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today I´m again filling my stash busting goals with this card! I´ve got a whole sheet of snowflake stickers used on this one. Yay!!

For the background I used my snowflake stencil that had some residue ink on it, so I misted it and pressed the ink onto a piece of white paper. You can barely recognize the pattern here and there, but I still really like the subtle look. After adding the STAMPlorations clear sticker sentiment and the super old snowflake stickers from my stash (yay to stash busting again!), the card turned out pretty nice.

That´s all for today! How are you getting along with Christmas cards this year? I have a few made, but I think they will not be enough, so I need to make a few more still.

Hoping your day is lovely!!! We are again on lockdown light in Austria and it´s starting to get to me. I miss my people! I´ve been really good the whole time so far since March, keeping the circles very small and all, but I miss seeing friends and loved ones. And who knows how long this will go on!! I think the winter time makes it even harder. Going to be along wait until spring arrives and we can at least enjoy our garden again, if nothing else.

Hoping everything is good at your end during this crazy time. Take care and stay safe!

December project wrap-up – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!!! It´s the last day of 2019, so I´m wishing you a great New Year´s Eve and wishing you all a wonderful, creative and amazing 2020!

Today I am again sharing my project wrap-up video with you. It´s a video about all the projects that I created with my December Deluxe The Wild Hare Kit and also shows you what is left of the kit after finishing all the projects. So this gives you an idea on for how much this type of kit is good for.

As a bonus for today´s post I have one new layout to share and also a set of Christmas cards. So let´s start with those:

So this is my last layout I created with the December kit. I used all paper collections on this one – Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland, Crate Paper Snowflake and Pink Paislee Together for Christmas! I love every paper collection so much and my kit was amazing!!!

And those Crate Paper alphas are just sooo adorable!! Love, love, love them!

And now to the card set:

For this set I´ve used pretty much all of the leftover patterned paper (there are just tiny bits left) and the monthly cut file.

For this card I´ve used the Crate Paper Snowflake collection ephemera and patterned paper. Love this paper so much!

This card I also done with the same „car“ patterned paper, but with the b-side of it. And it features the monthly cut file. I love this cut file so much! It makes for great cards on it´s own. The type of cards, if you forgot to send a card for someone, for example. You could then adhere the deer on the front and add a „…sorry I missed Christmas…“ type of sentiment inside.. 🙂

For the last card I used the Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland patterned paper on the background and added Crate Paper Snowflake ephemera and stickers on top. So now I´ve got plenty of cards made in advance for next Christmas :).

And here is the wrap-up video – featuring all 5 layouts and 14 cards:

I am very excited to receive my January kit already as it will be a complete surprise! I didn´t wish for anything particular for January, instead I asked them to surprise me with the kit. Soooo, I have been on needles and waiting for my kit to arrive. Hoping it will be here soon… it´s going to be so exciting to see what´s inside!!!

See you soon,
Sanna

Christmas card set III – The Wild Hare Kits

Hello lovelies and happy Saturday!!! Today I´m sharing my final set of Christmas cards, created with the Wild Hare Kits December kit.

For this set I´ve used mainly the patterned papers from my December kit: Pink Paislee Together For Christmas, Crate Paper Snowflake and Heidi Swapp Winter Wonderland collections.

For this card I arranged both the Pink Paislee and the Heidi Swapp paper onto the background, then added a few stirps of the Heidi Swapp collection washi tape and finished the card off with a piece of Crate Paper collection paper, adhered on place with 3D foam.

For the second card I used the beautiful patterned paper from the Crate Paper collection and added a stickers from the same collection sticker sheet on top and finished the card off with faux stitching.

And for the last card I used one of the Pink Paislee collection papers on the background, then added a focal point from the Crate Paper collection paper into the middle with 3D foam and decorated it with a piece of ribbon.

That´s all for today. Tomorrow I´ll be sharing another layout, created with my December kit. So if you want to see it, do stop by :)!

Happy crafting,
