7 Uhr Abends – Dani Peuss

(*for English version, just hit the Google Translate button on the sidebar*).

Hello, you are amazing!

Hi there and happy Saturday! Today I´m stopping by to share a a VERY PINK clean and simple card made out of all kinds of bits and bobs left from kits, packaging and happy mail.

For this card I used a backgroup paper gifted to me by Donna (thank you!). The sentiment piece is from a Bramble Fox acrylic shape packaging and the other pieces are from a Wild Hare Kits kit from my time at their design team. I just love how this turned out! The flamingo got a bit of glitter on it (done with Nuvo Drops).

And the amazing plate I´ve displayed my card on is from the awesome Tulü Porzellan store in Vienna. Do check them out if you are in the area! Such a nice store with such pretty kitchenware!

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend, everyone! Here in the Vienna region we have a heat wave. First it was crazy cold and then suddenly it´s +34 degrees. I´m trying to stay inside due to the heavy pollen exposure at the moment. My allergy has been sooo bad this year.

Happy crafting,
xxx, Sanna

Travel more – Studio Tekturek

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today it´s time to share my January Studio Tekturek design team project with you all. I am still totally in love with the Strawberry Shake summer 2020 collection and did a travel themed layout – and a video – with it.

I just love these colours and patterns so much! If you haven´t already, do check out their website for more and support a small, family owned company. Times like these are not easy on any of use – imagine building a business during a pandemic!! Here is the website link and here you can do some direct shopping (or ask your trusted store to order some of their papers).

I´ve used a white cardstock as my starting point and added some spray ink to the background (yellow and blue tones). Next I added a stamped pattern with a map and a light grey stamp ink tone for more interest. After that I drew and fussy cut the alphas and the hearts from the Strawberry Shake collection papers.

So you don´t even need a Cameo/Cricut or similar machine to create this layout. Just simple tool work! After that I fussy cut one journaling card (it had a nice sun on it) and cut the rays “loose” from the background to make them stand out from the paper. After that I outlined the alphas and hearts with a black pen to give them a little more contrast. Then I just arranged everything and adhered them on place. For additional decor there are some Spiegelmom Scraps sequins as well as a Bramblefox acrylic decor piece on the page. And plenty of Studio Tekturek stickers from the summer collection. I finished the page off with a few black ink splatters and hand written journaling. That´s it!

Here is the step-by-step video – hope you like it, I´m sorry if it´s not perfect, but I just changed the version of my video editing programm and it´s a bit of a learning curve again…Next video will be better again.. sigh!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!!

“The New Normal” – Studio Tekturek

Hello and happy Thursday! It´s again “Studio Tekturek-day” on my blog today. Have you been following their social media sites recently? If not, there are great news – their STORE IS NOW ONLINE. So if you have been waiting to be able to shop some Studio Tekturek goodness, go to: shop.studiotekturek.com!!

So if you, for example, like the Strawberry Shake collection that I´ve used on the above layout, you now can do so. Also, new customers get a discount of 15% for their first order!!! How cool is that!!?

The papers and stickers are all from the Strawberry Shake collection and I love the versatility of this collection so much. It´s so perfect for everyday scrapbooking! The other products I´ve used are either from my own (older) stash (Wycinanka chipboard and Technique Tuesday stamps) or from other manufacturers, like Bramblefox.

I´ve again recorded a start-to-finish video (partly spoken, partly fast-forward). I hope the video inspires you and gets you scrapping yourself!! I´ll be back with another scrapbook layout and video on the 29th of November. See you then again!

Wishing you a fabulous day and happy scrappy moments!

Here we go again.. – Studio Tekturek

Hello everyone and happy Saturday!!! How come it´s already end of August?? Where did this month go? Eek..soon the school starts again and fall is here. It´s been a strange summer for sure. But on the positive side, my mojo is back and I feel better again. Not so drained anymore. And today I´m also sharing my first DT project, created using the gorgeous Studio Tekturek Strawberry Shake collection.

Here is the crazy layout I created with the happy and bright summer collection:

There is a story behind these silly photos… These were taken by me in March while at the hospital (during guarantine, I might add!). A day after my cruciate surgery I was all alone in a 3-bed-room and bored. Also, I might have been unter the influence of painkillers still and I took these photos :).

I found that they work so well with this sugar sweet collection that I made them the focal point of this layout. I´ve used plenty of Strawberry Shake papers, stickers and alphas on this layout. Only the spray ink, stamping, acrylic embellishments are not from the collection, but from my own stash.

I´ve recorded a start-to-finish video to go with this layout, so you get a better idea of each an every step. Hope you like the video and get inspired!!

And if you fall in love with this colorful collection, do contact your local scrapbook store and ask them to stock up some Studio Tekturek at their store ;-). I´ll be posting a tutorial on the 29th of every month during my DT term, so if you liked what you saw, do come back for more next month!!

Wishing you a fabulous weekend and happy scrapping!
