I´m enough – The Nifty Pixel

Hi there lovelies! Today I am going to share one more hybrid scrapbooking page created with the Nifty Pixel digi kits. I´ve used the “Girl Friday” kit for this layout and added some misting and stenciling here and there.

I used the Girl Friday main kit, the painted paper kit as well as the Vignette Impressions on this layout. The stencil I´ve used is by 3rd Eye – who sadly closed their doors (miss them much!). The green mist I´ve used is by Canvas Corp Brands. I´ve also added some bits and pieces from my older stash to go with the hybrid products. I love Em´s designs – they are just gorgeous – every single time! AND they are perfect for combining with my own stash. Just follow this link to go directly to the Scrap Stacks Shop for more details on The Nifty Pixel kits and goodies.

Happy (hybrid) scrapping,
xxx, Sanna

Condolence card

Today I am quickly sharing a condolence card I created a while back.

For this one I chose a doily stencil and some silver spray ink, added a ribbon and stamped a sentiment. Tried to keep the card subtle and light.

Hear you soon again, I am in the midst of catching up with everything after CHA. It took me about a week to recover from the time difference, so I am a little bit behind with everything at the moment.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Fun Ride – The Color Room #173

Hello there! Time for the challenge #173 at The Color Room :). This time the challenge is just gorgous! I know, I say it every time and think that that particular challenge is the best, but then there of course always comes the next challenge..and it also turns out to be fabulous, so what can I do.

Time time round the challenge is a very fun one as the household item happens to be a credit card!! How cool is that, as there are a gazillion possibilities to use a credit card – if you don´t believe me, go and check out what my design team colleagues have come up with!! Lots of ideas on how to use a credit card!!

And this is my take on the challenge. The patterned paper was just perfect for this palette, so I just used it and added some stencilin and stamping. And that “net” pattern that you can see on the background here and there is made using the credit card. I used it as a stamp and stamped a kind of “net” pattern with it :).

Here are some close-ups on that :).

OK, so now you have a whole month (well, 29 days and counting) to link up your artwork to the TCR blog and join in the fun with us! I bet your fingers are already itching…I know mine where, when I first saw this palette :)!! Have lots of fun and looking forward to seeing what you create!!! See you at TCR!!!

Beach fun – Off the Rails Scrapbooking

Hello there! Today is my turn for another inspirational post over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking :). I really, really like the August colour palette, so you might notice that there are some similarities to that in my layout :)…. I normally scrap boy pages in more masculine colours, but I find myself drawn to brighter, more feminine colours lately and thought that it would be nice to scrap the boys in new colours for a change :). So here is what I created:

In addition to using the lovely August colours, I´ve added all kinds of little details that always speak to me (stamping, misting, badges and enamel dots as well as flair buttons). Love to use those. And if you look really closely, you might even see some modeling paste details in there too :). All things that make me happy and make creating a fun process. I hope my boy does not mind the colours 😉 …

ps. remember my previous post with the misted arrow pattern card? I´ve used all the leftover pieces on this layout (see the banners?) and tossed nothing :). And still going strong with my “using it all up” goal too – see how many papers I´ve actually used on this layout (I am very proud of myself :)…).

Have fun scrapping,
xoxo, Sanna
